I enjoyed this location. There is so much space inside this store, and I don't feel like I'm in anyone's way or that I need to squish myself into a rack so other people can get through. There's a fantastic selection of bags and dishes, especially the Paris Hilton set. I found knives I probably would have bought if I hadn't already bought a more expensive set elsewhere. I also found a very nice bag I can use as a backpack and purse, which my home location doesn't have. Rhonda at the register is such a lovely lady. She helped me with a small pricing issue with an item that had no tag, and is a wonderful conversationalist. She's very sweet and professional. I would absolutely come back. read more

Terrible customer service. I am disabled so I asked my spouse for assistance in the dressing room. She yelled in such a horrible disrespectful manner that I was shocked and didn't even say anything. I told my husband it was fine, thankfully I was able to try one item of clothing. Before leaving I bumped into her and asked for next time to show respect and provide good customer service. She yelled saying she talks how she talks and to suck it up and that she didn't like me either. As I told her I'm a consumer not an employee she needs to mind how she talks to ppl. Elsa I believe it was her name- old lady with glasses, she continued to talk shit as I walked away. The manager said she was upset because someone stole earlier but that's no excuse to talk to ppl horribly. If she would have nicely said "please one person at a time" I would have understood but her yelling and talking shit as I walked away was uncalled for. As a disabled person this really affected me more. People like her don't belong in customer service jobs, she must be let go before she hurts someone read more

Went to look for a swimming suit for my swimming lessons. I'm trying to become a better swimmer since a simple game of Marco polo" scared the day lights out of me, into not using my full potential years ago. I don't normally shop at Ross unless I'm looking for something imparticular (like I was). This store is messy with clothing karts everywhere even, blocking things. You'd think that this would be closing or before opening behavior. They are clearly short staffed and should consider hiring more staff during the weekends. I don't shop these stores for clothing usually but Organization is recommended. I like the suitcases and housing goods manly. There's plenty of parking onsite. read more

Literally the worst customer service I've ever received at a Ross store! Even after taking all my clothes off the hanger and putting them on the counter with tags available for scanning the agent for this location, haphazardly shoved shoved them in the bag , I then asked her "why don't I do that for you ." she walked away without acknowledging me, where upon I rolled my own purchase to fit into the bag. I wasn't looking for her to meticulously fold my purchase just maybe show some courtesy. I then said to another saleswoman close by, "if anybody else wants me to fold their clothes just let me know." Yet another agent said "we're on a timer and we don't have time to fold the clothes for you". I replied but, there isn't anyone else in line. I regularly shop for my family of nine at Ross dress for less because of the value and most times, the pleasant sales people that represent your company. I do not recall EVER recall having such a horrific experience in my many visits over the years This location miserably missed the mark today. read more

I was welcomed in as soon as I entered. Fairly orderly in the store, only a few selections of shoes in my size so I continued looking. Cute designer handbags, and clothes in my size. Nothing spoke to me but enjoyed the journey. Sweet kitchen towels with pretty designs. A little bit of everything in this store. Shoppers lined up to pay for their purchases. Nothing for me today. I can understand being understaffed, but when you announced to the entire store that you have no other staff coming in and your girlfriend is waiting outside to take you home so it will be card only the rest of the night - you don't even deserve to be a mgr and leave your staff helpless especially with a line of 30 people!!! read more

So the young girl at the counter is bright, courteous, and a pleasure. The manager on the other hand is uninformed on the return policy, and was rude towards a few customers as well as my wife and I. He started off passing by us and making a snide remark about "catching a contact buzz" because we smelled like sweet mary-jane. So my reply of course was simple, "that's why we rolled the windows up, to keep the stank in". Once it was our turn at the counter, i showed the receipt of the sun glasses I bought yesterday, from him no less,(which by the way during that transaction he told us that women always try to steal thru purse purchases, as he rooted thru the one my wife was buying..not sure if that was because she's a person of color or what). Anyway, the girl was helpful but needed him to complete the return. He looked at the glasses and said without the little sticky tags he wasn't able to do a refund, or return, or even an exchange. I told him "you watched me take those tags off". His smart remark was, "I didn't think you'd be returning them". He points to the back of the receipt in tiny light blue writing, "it says it right here". So he did nothing, was very rude, and made it out to be my fault since i didn't read a receipt. Turns out, upon reading the receipt, that rule is for swimwear or lingerie only. Not a single word other wise. Naturally i went to another Ross, (Tempe Market Place) where they returned them no problem, no questions asked. i bought two other pairs... So to the obviously very sad little man who clearly has nothing in his life to smile about, here's a tip, when you help others out, it puts happiness in your heart and a smile on your face. read more

This Ross is uncluttered and spacious, but maybe a little too spacious? There wasn't a lot of selection of clothes and home goods when we were here. They do have a whole row dedicated to pet goods, which was nice to browse through. read more

Random: this is the cleanest Ross I've ever been too. Maybe I'm just here on a good day but everything is super clean and well organized. The floors are shiny and clean and the shelves are all organized and faced. The staff both cashier and floor have been very pleasant as well. Oh, and I'm actually finding stuff here. Ross is my all time favorite shopping place for clothing & decorative items. I know I have more stores that I enjoy, but when I want a really good bargain...Ross is the store. I have found workout clothes here that is name-brand yet affordable. Thy carry brands like nike, saucony, asics, gold gym, adidas, express etc. Depending on the Ross you go too, helps to determine what you will find. Sometimes I'll be driving & I see a random Ross store & I have to check it out, because you never know what they might have. I love getting my niece & nephew clothes from here. I always take my mom because she likes their clothing as well. Every year I get her a gift card for christmas to Ross. What can I say....if you love a good bargain, Ross is your store. The newest Ross in tempe is open! The store is new, clean and tidy. However the selection is lacking here. The Shoe dept had much open space. The art was just a hand full of pictures. I like the cleanliness, it is much cleaner than the Tempe marketplace location. But more items are needed, I did not find anything to buy. read more

Ross? No, not for the clothes--the kitchen supplies! That stuff that didn't sell at other places sells here for cheaper. You never know what you are going to find, but I espied a set of Cuisenart kitchen knives (over a dozen pieces including steak knives) here for $40. Torani syrups (various flavors) for $7 each retail! You can always find an endless array of pans, pots, choppers, cookers and holders for substantially less than what you would find them at other stores. Sometimes you really hit the jackpot here, and sometimes you don't, but you can outfit your entire kitchen here for cheap if you don't mind mixing and matching. read more

First let me state - I am a Ross shopper!! This Ross experience surpassed ALL the rest! The cleanliness of the Store was immediately noticeable as the floors shined and racks were so well stocked and organized I stopped in my tracks. The greeting I received was SO genuine and not just the protocol expectation like at other Ross stores! 3 associates asked if I needed help with eye contact and sincerity! When I asked where the bathroom was I was guided there by a fun chatty gal who let me in! The inventory at this store was noticeably superior to other Ross stores I was shocked by all my "finds"! I had to leave this review of such an "over the top" experience! I will drive further to go to THIS Ross in the future! Good work team! read more

Love love love this place ! I shop there at least twice a week and always find a good bargain The dresses are cheap and I an a proud owner of over 100 !!! No shame in that!! I tend to go during the week day when is not busy, I did go there on a weekend and the lines were long and the clothes were all over the damn place. Just what you'd expect from a Ross, nothing spectacular, but an okay selection and staff that isn't too bad.

This location is clean and organized, but I find that the selection here is lacking in comparison to other ones. The departments were smaller than what I'm use to. They still have cute finds there. I got an awesome area rug for cheap. And for the older customers, 55 and above, you can get a 10% discount on Tuesdays. read more
