It is not the kind of gym environment that is intimidating, it is motivating. Ross especially understands all types of people including ones that maybe have never worked out. The workouts are tough and you always leave feeling better and stronger. It is a combination of Cross Fit exercises and strength training. There are many class times available beginning at 5am Monday thru Friday. Ross is honest, knowledgeable and he really cares about all his clients and everyone in the classes. He will not let you slack and he will push you because he believes in you. The gym has 6 racks which allow us to do multiple exercises including; bench press, squats, pull-ups, ring rows and other exercises as well. There are multiple free weights, jump ropes, medicine balls and a GHD machine. There are also 7 row machines and a huge parking lot for running. Fitness wise I was relatively strong, but wasn't doing enough cardio and abs regularly. That's where Orange Theory comes in. I've been an unlimited class member now for about 11 weeks, and I am loving the progress! You can definitely notice how much more you'll be able to lift for longer and run harder. I really like how the heart rate monitors automatically adapt to your fitness level every 20 workouts. All you need to do is show up, and the coaches will guide you through each heart pumping workout. Shout out to the great coaches I've had at Friendswood so far, Vicky, Zack, Devin, Lisa, Francisca, Kim, Savannah, and Daniel. Each coach here really motivates you to give your best effort every class. The front desk staff does a great job as well with checking you in, and making sure the studio is clean everyday. I also really appreciate that this location has showers available. You can usually catch me at the 5am classes, showering, then heading out in my scrubs going straight to work at the hospital. They even teach an accredited martial arts class (Aikido) in the evenings at no charge for members of the gym. The equipment is state of the art with a wide variety and choices. The fitness center is clean and well kept. I love the fact that the doors are locked to everyone except members. When you join you get an electronic key fob that gives you access 24/7. I've been going here for 18 months and still look forward to coming here. I feel safe and secure here, unlike some big gyms that have cars and lockers broken in to several times a week. This gym costs more, but then again, you get what you pay for.

This lack of communication and follow-through has left me frustrated and I won't be returning. Very poor service. Please don't sign up for a free class and then life happens .
