The manager and personal trainers are very knowledgeable and into USPA powerlifting. A lot of times you can ask them questions and they give great answers on maybe how to adjust something you are having trouble with or give ideas on new things if you ask. I have used different facilities LA Fitness, 24 hour, Lifetime, and Equinox, and the environment here is just very good if you are trying to improve on your fitness goals. It isn't a huge facility, but in March/April they are going from like 3200 sq feet to 9000 sq feet, and getting a larger variety and quantity of equipment (more power racks and machines). They have more of what you need and less of the things you don't need. Sometimes at the other huge big name facilities they have a lot of equipment you don't need or use along with a crowd of people that aren't there to really work out. I actually signed up for personal training along the way, and have seen all my numbers go up pretty fast. I guess it could be beginner gains, but I have been using different gyms and doing programs off bodybuilding.com programs for years. I never really got my numbers up until working with the personal trainers here, and the knowledge they have is very good and different then what I found reading bodybuilding.com or other things on the internet. I think if you live in the general area of this facility you really shouldn't over look it. I also came in with some lower back pain and after going to a hospitals physical therapy center and working with them for 6 months 3 times a week I ended up with no significant improvement. Since working out with a trainer here I have removed the pain, and increased my strength significantly. I can't thank these guys enough.

Did 4 rides here over thanksgiving break and loved it…read more I believe you are able to get your first ride free but I purchased a special pass they were offering for $49 that allowed me to ride as many times as I wanted over this specific two week period. I was only here for about a week but still thought I got value from the pass. This is not my first class but I'm also not a master just yet! I do 2-3 cycles a week back home and I started in late August of this year (so I'm about three months in). These classes were very similar to what I am used to back home and the new choreography was easy to pick up on. From a studio perspective I love the clean, white aesthetic with pops of orange. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. During cycling the instructors change the light settings and it definitely keeps you focused, on beat, and having fun. I cycled with a handful of instructors, all amazing, but I love love loved Aaron's themed rides. Hannah Montana vs Miley and thankful next were both bangers. Great playlists and I found him super motivating.

They help set you up on a bike and have the cutest sign on a locker for you to feel really welcomed. No need to bring towels because they are provided. Although you may want to bring a water bottle because you are going to need to hydrate from the river of sweat you are about to produce. Instructors are high energy and get you cycling with amazing song selections. Before you settle into your bike, make sure the weights that are racked onto your bike are sufficient for you to do an arm exercise at the end. If not switch them out to go lower or higher. Now go ahead and book a bike and cycle to you feel the burn!

No class routine is the same. Each instructor plans their lessons and adapts the moves to each client in their (limited size) classes. New to me, and I'm very excited about: Reformer Pilates (reformer, tower, cardio jumpboard, mat and mixed equipment to name a few of the class "styles"), Yamuna Ball Rolling, Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonics. Maybe in another month I'll be ready to try one of the Barre classes that Jennifer Stinson teaches. Jennifer is a fun and motivational teacher who also teaches several of the Pilates Reformer classes, and she's gotten to know me and my capabilities well. I'm falling in love again with Yoga, lead by the awesome Virginia Logan. If my health/wellness negatively changes, I wouldn't hesitate to sign up for 1:1 private instruction classes to get me back to my best self. There's so much more for me to experience and explore in this studio... so much more that I just signed up for a year of classes!

I'm an ex-soccer player and relatively fit when I showed up. My training regimen and meal plan has been tailored to my short and long term objectives. At times I've wanted to add muscle and at other times I've wanted to lean out. In all cases I've received purposeful and highly technical, form-focused instruction that have produced the exact results I've been seeking. My overall energy level, health and strength have all improved, as well as my sleep. Working out with Joe, I've done full-body HIIT training, focused-area (shoulders, arms, chest, abs) training and some moderate cardio (during lean out periods). Joe understands both the chemistry of nutrition and the physiology around body movement and muscle isolation - all to drive the right outcomes. His training sessions are a great value; as most know, it is hard to find his level of commitment and consistency in the ego-ridden personal trainer industry. You won't find that with any of the trainers at V12 - it's a positive, client-focused culture. Most importantly (for me) is the variety of exercises / lifting - I've never done the same sequence twice and am constantly engaged, encouraged and celebrated by a professional that started as my trainer and has since become a friend.
