As I was telling my adult daughter; the entire procedure from first rinse to me walking out the door was only about 20 minutes long. The Dr is so skilled at the Novocaine injections that I was amazed. If you can hold it together for about 2 minutes-you'll be fully numb in no time. The procedure itself consisted of one minute of toughing it out while he did the actual pulling. No pain, just pressure and conquering my fear. I can do just about anything for one or two minutes. The rest was downhill from there. Drove myself home with no issues-as I stayed awake for the procedure. They did get me in pretty quickly ( about 4 business days), since I was in quite a bit of pain. Dr Valenti' assistant was very nice and efficient with the suction hose gadget. The entire process including checking in, registering and completing the paperwork, and oral surgery was less than 90 minutes. TIP: park in the front of the building and take the elevator up on floor. TIP The building is sit on a hill, so the main floor is actually floor number two. Valenti is on three. TIP: if you have an early appointment, the door may be locked so you will need to knock to advise them that you are waiting. FINAL TIP: You will be expected to pay 20% upfront for your care.
