I spoke with Margaret as my patient coordinator and she went above and beyond answering all of my questions on multiple calls and a FaceTime as I don't live in Texas anymore. She didn't try to upsell me on anything and only discussed options after I brought them up myself (the FIRST practice that hasn't tried to upsell me). She made me feel like I was family, and TRULY cared about my results and happiness. Then I met with Dr. Mehta in person and he was so professional. He also was the only Dr. who hasn't pointed out other flaws or tried to upsell me on procedures. Actually, it was almost the opposite. He is confident that I can get away with a less invasive procedure than I was considering! And it is a third of the cost as the other options I was considering. He didn't rush my appointment and I felt truly cared about without pressure. The fact that they have competitive pricing AND are ethical, honest & care is just the perfect combination. Now I just need to decide when the time is right for me.

A buddy suggested that I go to an IV hydration clinic instead. The obgyn nurse said an IV hydration clinic would probably be cheaper than paying ten percent at an ER. My husband found Smooth Aesthetics. Smooth Aesthetics is owned by nurse Oscar and his physician wife Dr. Leyva. Oscar was able to see me within two hours at their Round Rock location. I paid $200 for two saline bags plus Zofran. Zofran is an anti-nausea medication, which Oscar thought might help with the other end, but it didn't. Nonetheless, I didn't feel like dying from dehydration anymore, and the baby was safe. For an additional $25, Oscar will travel to your house if you're unable to get a ride. If you only need one bag of saline, it's $150. It's much cheaper than going to an ER. He also administers generic semaglutinide for $300/ month. He showed me before and after pictures of his personal weight loss of forty pounds, and he looks amazing. I would be interested in a NAD IV in the future as it's all the celebrity rage right now for anti aging.

There was no proper assessment of my skin to determine the appropriate wavelength or energy settings; I was simply told a "medium" setting would be used for a first session for safety. The treatment itself felt rushed, and during the session I noticed that some areas were being missed. Although I shared my past results, I was told by Fairy that IPL can't remove dark spots or freckles, which contradicts both my experience and widely available information about the treatment. After the session, I didn't experience any of the typical post-treatment reactions, such as redness, and I saw no results in the weeks that followed. Overall, this felt like a combination of outdated equipment and limited experience with delivering effective IPL results. I wouldn't recommend this spa for IPL.
