Romero is rude and dismissive and basically on vacation, he strikes me as a doctor that is not yet ready to retire but is past the point of working- or even being compassionate- he is a d*ck in so many ways - but can mostly be seen by his general disposition - we were referred to him by doctor P. who said that Dr. Romero was going to perform surgery on my mom's hernia/gal bladder- but it seems that Mr. Romero can't be bothered with performing surgery, he eluded to this fact when he told us that Dr. Zito was going to do it- he then berated my mom about not knowing who Dr. Zito was, he was her doctor? And he said that she should try and remember the doctors she sees... my mom asks where he was located, he couldn't tell us, but assured us we "would be in good hands like allstate." later i find out that Dr. Zito- HAS BEEN RETIRED FOR YEARS!!! but we are in good hands right? and we are the one with the problem because we didnt remember seeing him?? riiight a couple of other things pissed me off during our short time in his office- if Dr. Romero thinks you should stop talking he will put his hand up (in a talk to the hand fashion) VERY PROFESSIONAL. Also my mom has swelling in her feet, which is very recent- I told her she should ask him about that and make sure one thing doesn't have to do with the other- to which his response was "I don't have all day to sit here and talk medicine with you" yes, but do u have 30 seconds? Cause that's all that question required. This man needs to retire, or be put out of the business and stop collecting copays for calling everyone sweetie and caressing their faces, really its not needed especially in a professional setting. This nurse who I guess thought it would be funny to give my wife a new appoinment, in January. It's September now. Is this funny or a punishment? My wife could be dead if she waits this long. I don't understand why they only call me shortly before closing, but it's incredibly anxiety inducing.

I had a tele-visit first and received some advice. I had recently had a blood test and so i faced them the results. I was waiting for a follow up call, email, but i must have misunderstood. Finally when offices started opening again i called and made an in-person visit. The waiting room was shared with another office, had it some chairs blocked off but people were standing around waiting. No one was checking or monitoring and there was no hand sanitizer available. I was asked to fill out paperwork but i did not see any sanitizing of the clipboards and pens in between people. I'm glad i brought my own hand sanitizer. The people are all very nice who work at Dr Nanda's Northeast Primary Care. The young man who checked me in, the young ladies who took my blood. Dr Nanda herself has great bedside manner and did a thorough exam. I didn't have to pay anything on my way out, we'll see how the billing goes because i read one review here that has me worried about that.
