THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM! DO NOT HAVE THEM REPAIR OR WORK ON ANYTHING. Samsung sent this place out for a warranty repair. When they arrived the 2 people were very rude. Didn't explain anything and hardly even spoke. When they left, they just left. Didn't say they were finished or if they repaired anything. Once I figured out they were not coming back. I cleaned up their mess. Floor was wet, food left out, refrigerator not pushed back in to the spot. I called and no return call no emails. Fast forward about 80 days and the ice maker still doesn't work! Samsung was contacted they said to call ROSS TECHNOLOGY. I called no return call I emailed no response. Finally he responded 2 weeks later with "take what Samsung will give you its unfixable and I only warranty for 90 days." Now I know why they waited to email me back. Worst company ever, their products are terrible especially their appliances. I bought a oven from home depot, within a month the control board that operates the oven died, I called warranty center, they had a repair service come, she found a cockroach on the board, and voided our warranty, Mind you, we never had issues with pests before this stove was delivered from home depot, so 5 months later the oven door popped off, and I called warranty center again, they said the warranty is voided so they can't help. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, they basically found a way to wipe their hands clean from being responsible for bringing bugs into my house, then voiding my warranty from all defects. So far this nightmare of a purchase has cost me almost $1500, the stove initially cost $800, they quoted me $800 for a new control board, and the pest control service cost me $350. Ross Technology came out today and spent about 15 min looking at my Samsung refrigerator. They are affiliated with Samsung and Samsung sent Ross out for the final diagnostics. Long story short, I've had Best Buy out 5 times to try and rectify water leaking from dispenser, Best Buy has changed out valves, water lines, and even the refrigerator door... still leaking water. Best Buy said this is now a Samsung warranty issue.... This is where Ross Technology comes in... 3rd party affiliation with Samsung... They were there 15 min to tell me they couldn't fix because I'm the 93314, 93312, and 93309 zip code area in Bakersfield, there is air in the water causing the water leak and is common with Samsung... this guy basically said it is what it is.... Ross Technologies came out to repair my 65" Samsung Frame TV after Samsung agreed to cover parts and I agreed to pay for service -- $250 labor and $100 per visit. I was told upfront they'd "work with me" on fees if the issue wasn't resolved quickly, but that didn't happen. It took three visits to finally fix the issue. After the second visit, the technician didn't charge the $100 fee -- understandable, since the TV still wasn't fixed. But the office later called to say I'd be charged again on the next visit. I had no choice but to agree if I wanted my TV fixed. In the end, after finally scheduling the appointment, the service was excellent. Turns out that the issue with my Samsung TV was very uncommon. After changing the motherboard, the tech found out the the problem was the IR and they had to order another part. This company has horrendous customer service! They were extremely rude and unprofessional when scheduling my service appointment. When I wasn't able to accept the ONLY date and time offered for service, the customer service person was dismissive, rude and completely inflexible. She became argumentative when I politely asked for an alternative day or time. She told me my service ticket would be cancelled and I'd have to re-file with Samsung. Since when does a company only offer only one option for an appointment?? She even ridiculed me for not having a family member or friend who could be home to accept the appointment. We recently purchased a Samsung refrigerator and after having it for only two weeks, the control panel went out. ‍ Samsung set up a work order ticket with Ross Technology. I called the company a day later and the lady on the phone asked me a series of questions and then ordered the part. Said they would call when the part was in. Two days later I got a call asking if between 12 and 4 worked the following afternoon. I confirmed. Geno (sp?) came to my door around 12:30 and was very polite and went right to work. He was done in just a few minutes, explained the fix, and made sure to answer any questions I had before he left. This place is just horrible. They're the only ones Samsun will refer you to for repair, but not worth it. I needed a range repair. First call, they took down my information and said they would call back with a quote. Never called back. Second call, they took down my information, got me a quote, quite expensive, but I offered to schedule it anyway. Then, when I mentioned I was going to be out of town for a few days, they wouldn't schedule or even order the part until I returned. So, I'd have to wait for weeks so they wouldn't have a part waiting in their office for a couple of days. When I called back after I returned, they had none of the previous information and had to start from scratch. They then gave me a higher estimate, probably not far from the cost of the range, and it wasn't firm. On all of these calls, they made assumptions that I should have called Samsung first, even though my range is out of warranty and it wasn't going through them. They seem not to have any kind of protocols in place and they are rude and presumptuous. read more
