The folks at Ross Tree company are simply outstanding! From start to finish they are consultative, anxious to please and perform their work without supervision of homeowner. And they clean up their mess like I would!! Most recently, we had a Cheyenne Privet hedge surrounding our property that, due to my back injury, had become wild and overgrown. It had always been a source of pride in the neighborhood and so had the guys come to do what I could no longer do. Baltazar, Mike and Jamie form an excellent team. I could not believe what a tremendous job they did, and in short order. The hedge now looks like it always did before. Very difficult work, but not for them. My husband and I, as well as our next door neighbor who recommended them, have been with Ross Tree for close to four decades, and continue to be very pleased with their work. The trees they tend have grown enormously during that time, always with branches in post-trim good health--a tribute to their good care, judgment, tree pruning and management, even under challenging rope-and-height working conditions. The majority of our trees now are species of ash, and each has been protected biannually by Ross since before the first instances of emerald ash borer were found outside the northwest metro area. I highly recommend Ross Tree Company. I can see why they have a 5 star rating. That's why I initially called them for an estimate. First, I had them treat all of my ash trees. Waited for winter to have my trees trimmed. They just finished trimming and shaping 5 mature ash trees, 1 maple, and 1 apple. They did a beautiful job, showed up on time and on the days scheduled. Reasonably priced (have had other tree trimmers in past years). Left the yard clean of any stray branches. They are on my permanent list to call for any future tree trimming. Can't wait to see how nice these trees will look in the spring - they sure look a lot happier this winter now that they have a fresh hair cut! This is the 3rd time we have used Ross. Every time has been great service. We initially used them as a result of a bidding process with 3 other companies to have a very large cottonwood removed. They were outstanding especially since the tree was on our property line and it was removed with no damage to our neighbors. We have used Ross twice this year. Once on an emergency service due to the late April snow which caused several large limbs to break on our ash tree. They returned last week to prune, thin, shape and remove a large limb from the same tree that was overhanging our neighbors back yard. The crew of 3 was AWESOME and efficient. We have had our large maple, locust and elm trees pruned by Ross on two occasions in the last 3 years, also some smaller apple and alder trees. The large trees required some serious climbing. Mario supervised the work on both occasions and was great to work with --- discussed the plan, asked for our input and took pride in the outcome. The trees all look great post-trim. Scheduling went well, even when it required some adjustments to work around exterior painting we were having done. Clean-up was thorough. I would have no reservations about using this crew again. I hired Ross Tree Company to trim a large silver maple and a large ash. They also removed two small trees for me. They arrived when they said they would to give me an estimate and to trim/remove the trees. They were very professional, did a great job, respected my property and cleaned up after themselves. They trimmed the ash tree using a bucket right after it had snowed so they were initially unable to get on my roof for clean up. However, they came back and finished the clean up once the snow melted. They did an excellent job and I will definitely use them again. read more

ross tree company gave the most reasonable quote for taking out all the dead branches in a 90 ft high willow (aus tree) out of 4 different companies. some were as much as $1,500.00 higher in price, but spent more time trying to sell me on other services that i wasn't interested in. two of them tried to persuade me the tree could not be saved (yes, it looked that bad!) and tried to sell me on a $5000.00 plus full tree removal! their post trimming clean up was impeccable. i highly recommend them and they will be my go to for future arboreal needs. thank you ross trees! read more

After meeting with several companies to handle my yearly lawn and tree maintenance, I selected Ross Tree Company and I'm so glad I did. So far the salesperson, customer service and workers have been great. I selected this company because of the knowledgeable salesperson, length in business and good reviews. We had Ross Tree Company trim our Aspen trees away from our roof and siding while also pruning back the deadwood. The trees look amazing and the healthiest they've looked in years. They even managed not to damage my flowers in the flower garden under the trees while they were trimming the trees. We lost a 60' spruce tree in a recent windstorm. It didn't topple, it broke about 25' up. It was a mess of tangled branches, broken boughs, and a shattered trunk. Ross was able to schedule a removal within a week of my call. They cleanly and professionally removed the tree, then ground out the stump. They left the area clean and neat. Heavy Spring snow brought down a large locust branch that snapped our power and cable lines at 1 am. I called Xcel who were out at 9:30. Called Ross in the morning and talked to the general manager at 8 am. He said they would have a crew out that day, and advised me of their emergency rates.
