Omg, what an amazing dinner. I came across this place on Yelp & since it was open later & had good reviews we decided to give it a try. The parking is a paid lot which kinda sucks & I was nervous because all the reviews said the restaurant was small, but luckily on a Monday it was slower & we were able to sit inside right away. The employees were so friendly & we chatted with one of the owners for awhile. The food was all top notch. We started with arrinichini which took me straight back to my grandma's house. The veal osobucco ravioli was delicious & my kids ate all their lasagna which is saying something.Monday nights there is a special where you get a bottle of wine with the purchase of two entrees, which was a huge perk. Such a great memorable dinner.

You will feel like you stepped into Italy when you come eat dinner inside this charming little market. The staff are amazing, attentive, and so accommodating. And the food is so delicious! Everything I tried was fresh and obviously made with top quality ingredients. My pumpkin gnocchi was incredible! They were so pillowy and full of wonderful fall flavors and coated in a velvety, creamy, rich sauce that I could have slurped up all by itself. The Vodka sauce was legit; you tasted the layers of tomato base, garlic, Parmesan, and butter with just a splash of cream. But best of all: OMG! The Tiramisu! Holy Toledo. I was so full but couldn't resist eating it in full because it was absolutely perfect!

    Lobster ravioli - delicious!

Came in on a Friday night for dinner without a reservation (not recommended) but we were lucky enough to be seated after a cancelation! Service was professional and polite. The restaurant is small and located within a plaza - plenty of parking. We had the lobster ravioli, a fettuccine special with swordfish, and the house red wine. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back with a reservation next time!

This place is so good! We usually go for lunch and have sandwiches but decided to have dinner one night. It's totally authentic Italian food! Best pasta I've had since we were in Italy! Highly recommend!

To say that I regret not coming here sooner is an understatement... I hate to call myself this but my husband and I are definitely foodies . I'm not gonna say that we're foodies in the traditional sense that we are snobs but we know what we like and I can tell you that this restaurant is simply incredible . Not only did they see us at a four top even though the restaurant was busy and they were only two of us , but they allowed us to sip our wine and enjoy our meal at a completely leisurely pace without any sense of pressure. This restaurant has the most incredible food that I have had in a very long time . I actually told my husband that there is only one other restaurant that I have ever eaten that in my life that had food that was this good. This is a do not mess extravaganza !! Five stars all the way

Seafood pasta. Comes with very nice house salad. All fresh and delicious.

Service is great. They have a store inside with real Italian foods and deserts. Fresh deli selection too.

The menu here can feel a little overwhelming at first (so many amazing options!), but Rimsha was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to guide me through the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and really made me feel comfortable instead of rushed. I mentioned I was having some bladder sensitivity, and she recommended an iced detox tea with agave--and it was so good. She also suggested her favorite empanadas, and I ended up getting the Caprese and the flank steak with cheese (with chimichurri), both of which were delicious. What really made the experience special was how attentive and caring she was. It didn't feel transactional at all--she made it feel welcoming and personal. Big thank you to Rimsha for turning my visit into such a positive experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

Holy Cow Ice Cream - Where Presentation Meets Indulgence…read more Holy Cow Ice Cream definitely understands that dessert should be more than something sweet--it should be an experience. I went with the Cookies & Cream Xtreme Milkshake, and this thing makes an entrance before you even take the first sip. Thick, creamy, rich, and loaded with that classic cookies-and-cream flavor, the shake itself was very good. But the presentation is what takes it to another level. Topped with fried Oreos and dressed to impress, visually this was an easy 10/10. It's the type of dessert that makes you pull your phone out before you touch it. The Strawberry Hennessy Italian Ice was another standout. Refreshing, fruity, smooth, and full of strawberry flavor with that grown-up Hennessy twist. It was a nice contrast to the richness of the milkshake and definitely something I would order again. What I also appreciated was the atmosphere. The décor is fun, colorful, and inviting, and you can tell some thought went into creating a place that feels like a destination rather than just another neighborhood ice cream shop. Other customers have mentioned that same attention to detail, and after visiting, I can understand why. From a chef's perspective, presentation matters, especially with desserts. People eat with their eyes first, and Holy Cow clearly understands that. They take familiar favorites like milkshakes, fried Oreos, and Italian ice and turn them into something memorable. Food: 9/10 Presentation: 10/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Overall Experience: 9.5/10 If you're looking for a simple scoop of ice cream, they have you covered. But if you want something over-the-top, Instagram-worthy, and actually good enough to back up the presentation, Holy Cow Ice Cream is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

I went through the reviews and pictures extensively! Let me just say, not a single lie was told about the greatness that is La Perla! This is going to be a long review! Let's start with the service since that's a huge dealbreaker for me regardless of food taste. We had one main server, but another was assisting as well. I hate that I didn't ask their names again to include it in this review. Both women were extremely helpful, they checked on us the perfect amount, made sure we were satisfied, and even helped in our decision making. Not only were they extremely professional but they were super kind and honestly, both of them were very funny and made the night quite enjoyable without even trying; I could tell it was just their natural personality shining through their commendable service. Now on to the food. We ordered appetizers, entree, and dessert. We wanted help choosing our wine, and based off a couple questions, the selections of red our server recommended was very nice. The bruschetta was the absolute best I have EVER had! I am talking about an explosion of flavor that I didn't expect! I don't like fried foods but I did still enjoy my boyfriend's calamari/zucchini appetizer. He himself devoured it and said it was amazing. Our entree's were delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. Dessert was fantastic! I ordered the cannolis since they're a favorite of mine, however it is my birthday so they also brought out a cream puff and to my absolute surprise I loved it more than the cannoli (which was still super tasty). The restaurant is small and intimate. I saw a review saying it was noisy, but honestly you can't go to an Italian restaurant and expect it to be quiet. They foster an atmosphere where you want to eat, chat, and be merry. The "noise" was sounds of happy patrons enjoying their meals and their company. Nothing to complain about at all! As we ate I noticed that the staff turned over the tables very quickly. That was actually interesting to witness; as a group leaves, the staff ensures to promptly clean the table and reset it and as soon as you turn your head it's as if no one had dined there yet. Loved that, because who wants to be seated next to someone's leftovers? Haha. Overall, I loved my time here as well as my meal. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to others and I want to thank the staff for the amazing dinner experience!

The bruschetta was excellent, honestly some of the best I've had, and the molten lava cake was absolutely to die for. The flounder special was also loved by everyone at our table who ordered it. That said, there were a few misses. My mom had called a week ahead to let them know her husband was vegan, and the person she spoke with was very kind and said they would speak with the chef and be prepared. When we arrived, the waitress acknowledged they knew we had a vegan guest, but the option offered was simply spaghetti with vegetables. When it came out, it was just plain pasta without vegetables. They apologized and corrected it, but after the advance call, we expected something a bit more thoughtful. The restaurant was also very loud and crowded, and with our larger table, people on opposite ends had to practically yell to hear each other. The staff seemed stretched thin, so service was not as attentive as it could have been, though we did appreciate that we never felt rushed. Food-wise, the bruschetta and desserts were excellent, the meatballs were just okay, and while my mom loved the rack of lamb, I found mine a bit overdone and overpowered by the sauce. We were also disappointed they were out of branzino, since several people in our party had planned to order it. Overall, La Perla has a lot of charm, very good food, and a warm, authentic feel. I'd happily go back, but probably with a smaller party and maybe on a less busy night.
