The quality of the ice cream was really good. Of the three scoops I had only one lacked a strong enough flavor for me to taste but the salted caramel, as usual, was my favorite. The service was fast, curious, and polite; everything you'd like to experience when entering any diner/restaurant. The mood was nice as my wife and I came during the evening and could've sat outside if we'd liked. We got ice cream here last night after spending 30 minutes trying to find parking in the area! We went and checked out the pier and beach and then made our way to Razzleberry's since I had bribed our teenagers after finding this place on Yelp. The girls working the counter offered free tastes so that was nice. They were very helpful and we all loved our ice cream! Not much ambiance-wise here but no one comes to eat inside or for that, just for the yummy ice cream! read more

Razzleberry's Homemade Ice Cream Parlor has been open for 30 years! Its popularity is because of the delicious ice creams it makes and the reasonable prices it offers. When it gets super hot in Pompano Beach, you should run over to this store as it is so refreshingly cool inside! Our server was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about the different flavors of ice cream. My daughter got the Smurf and Cherry Vanilla with waffle cone, and I got the Brownie Fudge Swirl with waffle cone. Both were yummy. Parking was available on the street very close to this shop. I just want to start off by saying i NEVER leave yelp reviews, but after my experience today I just had to. I was helped by a woman named Piper who was very sweet and very patient. She knew exactly what she was doing and did everything so well. She made me a chocolate milk shake today that was out of this world. This was probably one of the best places I've been to for homemade ice cream. Tons of flavors to pick from, friendly staff and very generous scoops. As a new resident of Pompano Beach, I decided to check out the local spots for casual dining and fun. We had lunch near the pier and had a desire for ice cream and a quick search led us to Razzleberry's Ice Cream. Entering the store mid day we had it all to ourselves to choose from maybe 2 dozen flavors. Everything looks good with several unique flavors custom made on location. My daughter ordered Chocolate Oreo Marshmallow, which can in a small single serving cup. Except that the cup was way too small for the enormous oversized portion they serve. My turn, I ordered sherbet and was served the same ridiculous sized portion and it was fantastic! These folks have created something wonderful for us to enjoy and appreciate. What did you think these 2 enormous and incredible treats cost? I mean for what was likely almost a 1/2 quart of homage frozen treats? 7 bucks! C'mon man, that's just crazy cheap. But that means that now I'll be back again and again. I can't wait to try many new flavors! What a great way to start my Pompano Beach experience, looking for many more amazing places to visit! read more

Price has literally doubled in the past 2 years though (everything has really though). It used to be what seemed a family operated business, now it's all kids. They have many flavor choices and everything is clean. I got a sundae with the Oreo flavor of the week (peanut butter pie Oreo with hot fudge, Oreo topping, whipped cream and a cherry). The prices are pretty standard for a beach front ice cream place (about $5 per person) and I was happy with the portion size of my sundae. My daughter got watermelon ice and she said it was good. This place may not look like anything special from the outside but give it a chance... I had the razzleberry and the bailey's brownie chocolate - both amazing. The razzleberry taste like raspberry, the consistency is thick. The bailey's flavor taste like exactly what it should taste like with yummy, soft chunks of brownie in it. So good! I had two scoops in the small cup and it was personally a lot. One scoop for dessert is perfect! Highly recommended Icecream spot! read more

Updating my review as the ice cream is not as good as it used to be. Much less mix ins than they provided 1-2 years ago. I know they have new owners who claim to follow the same recipes and quality, but it is not as good anymore. Not sure if it's the base is a lower butterfat content, perhaps 10-12%, as previous had better mouth feel of a 12-14% premium base. I'm no expert, but isn't my favorite anymore. read more

My sweet tooth kicked in. I checked how far a walk it was from where I was at on the beach, and I found out this location was about a block away, on the beach! Since their customer service is so good normally, I was hoping there wasn't too many people when I got there. I was in a bit of luck as I beat the rush and had service as I walked in. Although I love ice cream I went with chocolate this day. I got the chocolate covered Oreos. But then I saw the peanut brittle and had to get a bag of their freshly made goods. I thought I was going to get out with just that but at the counter the gal offered me a free sample of the fudge. I ended up getting a slab of the dark chocolate fudge too. Sure it was a gratuitous amount of desserts, but I knew they would be loved for a week or so. They lasted almost a week, and I have no regrets, other than maybe I should have gotten that ice cream too.

I've been to 2 other shops that sell Ice Cream Club ice cream and this one is by far the highest priced locale. The service is lackluster. No enthusiasm, no chatting, no personality. This used to be a fun place to go (Darlene) but not any more. Today I went in and was charged an eighty cent CC fee. What?! Yup. No sign, no warning. I had that refunded immediately. Corporate America ruining another local neighborhood shop. No joy. No smiles. Now, no me. You've lost my business for good.
