We went and checked out the pier and beach and then made our way to Razzleberry's since I had bribed our teenagers after finding this place on Yelp. As a new resident of Pompano Beach, I decided to check out the local spots for casual dining and fun. We had lunch near the pier and had a desire for ice cream and a quick search led us to Razzleberry's Ice Cream. Entering the store mid day we had it all to ourselves to choose from maybe 2 dozen flavors. Everything looks good with several unique flavors custom made on location. My daughter ordered Chocolate Oreo Marshmallow, which can in a small single serving cup. Except that the cup was way too small for the enormous oversized portion they serve. My turn, I ordered sherbet and was served the same ridiculous sized portion and it was fantastic! These folks have created something wonderful for us to enjoy and appreciate. What did you think these 2 enormous and incredible treats cost? I mean for what was likely almost a 1/2 quart of homage frozen treats? 7 bucks! C'mon man, that's just crazy cheap. The razzleberry taste like raspberry, the consistency is thick. The bailey's flavor taste like exactly what it should taste like with yummy, soft chunks of brownie in it. So good! Updating my review as the ice cream is not as good as it used to be. Much less mix ins than they provided 1-2 years ago. I know they have new owners who claim to follow the same recipes and quality, but it is not as good anymore. Not sure if it's the base is a lower butterfat content, perhaps 10-12%, as previous had better mouth feel of a 12-14% premium base. I'm no expert, but isn't my favorite anymore. read more
