They were hired to repair a 2010 Dodge Ram Truck due to a head on collision with a deer. The total…read moreamount of the job was almost $9,000 dollars, the entire experience was horrible. I dealt with Bob Christine, the owner. He and his company are the worst body shop I have ever used and come across. He will lie right to your face without any hesitation and remorse. He told me that he was a direct repair facility with Travelers, which he is not. Further he does not even do much work with Travelers. Advised he would act as our advocate in dealing with insurance co, as he was skilled and had experience to protect our interests, instead, he was acting in the best efforts of insurance co. Example, the "missed" numerous items that was damaged, and I personally had to follow up with insurance after the job was "supposedly" completed to get paid. Basically, I had to the body shops job. Advised the repair would take about 10 to 12 days, in reality it took almost 6 weeks (42 days). They did NOT work on the truck continuously and only spent a few hours per day, even though he knew that I needed the truck as soon as possible. He could not care less that people need their cars. They replaced the hood and front grill, but scratched the hood and grill during or after installation. Did not fix scratches on the right side of truck. Barely did an inspection of truck and missed all kinds of damage (crack/hole in windshield, interior dash and doors scratched, interior cab liner stained, chrome wheels scratched and etc.) He admitted he spent about 5 minutes inspecting truck, even though he stated he would go over the truck with a fine tooth comb. They replaced a steering pump, but did not do it correctly and had to send it to dealer. I called dealer and they advised, they did not slide the pump on far enough on its brackets or holder..... a very simple thing..... the body shop does not have the skills to make any kind of mechanical repairs. Yet they represent to the insurance company and customer they can. Keep in mind insurance companies, want to get the truck repaired for the least amount of money, so they will prefer to have the body shop fix items rather than the mechanics at the dealers. Bob Christine and his company are horrible at providing updates and have attitudes and think they are doing you a favor. Never provided an estimate, stating that Travelers does not work in this manner, this was a lie. Never provided an invoice even though demanded. Finally at the threat of filing a law suit, and depositing the money to the courts, he finally gave me an alleged invoice (however its states on the document it is an estimate). Basically he gave me an estimate after the job was complete. I found out after the fact, it is very common for them to be late and miss their deadlines. I suspect they do this on purpose so they can make more money, charging for storage fees to insurance companies and etc. Stay away from Bob Christine and his companies, unless you want to be taken advantage of and do not need your car for weeks and weeks.
