I recently moved to the neighborhood and really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I asked the girl who was doing my feel to buff more with the pumice stone. She refused saying she already rinsed my feet. I didn't realize I should have checked her work while she was in the middle of doing it. I also asked the girl doing my fill to file with the machine a bit more to make my nails more thin (I despise thick acrylic nails) and she (with an attitude) replied that she wasn't done yet. CLEARLY! Thats why I asked to file more before she tells me she's finished already. I was trying to save her time. And still, I walked out with a pound of acrylic on each nail. Not a fan. Terrible customer service. Never returning nor would I ever recommend the place. I guess I'm driving to the Bronx for my fills and feet every two weeks. read more

You get what you pay for. Went in for SNS. When it was time to choose my color they gave me a choice of about 20 colors to pick from. None of which I liked. They told me SNS powder wasn't popular so they didn't keep a lot of colors. Since I didn't like any of the choices I was forced to put acrylic on my natural nails and then do a gel polish over that. My nail tech was very rough and unfriendly. No hand massage at the end of the manicure either. My pedicure was less than ideal. Cost me $80 and I didn't even get a thank you from anyone in there. When I got home I noticed my feet were like sandpaper. Whatever they used to scrub made my feet rough! Not the results you want to have after a "spa" pedicure. Fast forward 5 days and these acrylics are popping off my nails. I went to another salon to have them all properly removed and I was informed they used MMA! This is a cheap acrylic and is banned in the US! I wish I could get my $80 back. It is a lot of money spent for garbage. read more

I love Marie, she's the best. She can do her thang. You bring the idea & she definetly will do it. The rest sucks. On my 1st pedicure, another girl looked afraid & insecured while doing my feet. I asked for a callus treatmemt & she used the foot file on a spot where she didnt apply the treatment & ended cutting my toe. It was bad, had me limping for a week. I could'nt wear shoes. Rossy just told her staff not to charge me the callus treatment. After that, I've continued going to get my nails done with Marie & Rossy "The owner" or rest of the staff does not greet when you arrive. Marie is the only one that stands out in that salon. Otherwise I would've never drove 1 hr to get my nails done!!! read more

I can go up to over a month with no cracks or breaks with my nails and always bite them. She does the best job and I've never had an issue with her work. Went for mani pedi, during pedicure the girl cut my toe instead of apologizing she got annoyed because I jerked my foot! She did the same thing while doing my manicure! Grew up in Yonkers- I'll say this: I have been to some pretty grimy nail salons. That does NOT define a nail salon- you base a review on how well your nails are done and how well you are tended to. If you walk in here and are not a regular, trust me- you get snubbed. The loud music is fun and inviting, I'll give them that. I got a manicure here a few months ago by a young woman who was not a trained nail technician- she might have been the owner's cousin? She was very young, untrained and I am almost positive she had never painted someone's nails before in her entire life. So disappointing. I wanted this to be my spot! I could give my six year old goddaughter $5 and she would have done a better job. Bummer! read more

Absolutely terrible experience. First off, the attitude and rudeness from the nail specialists were cold and not welcoming.My gel nail manicure came out awful, uneven and sloppy. Every person I showed my nails to were so disappointed for me. The girl rushed the whole time, complained, and jumped from another girl throughout the appointment. To make matters worse this was before an out of the country trip so I had to go with horrible looking nails that are embarrassing for me to show. This is my first time coming to Rossys Nail Bar and definitely wont be the last. Was recommended by a family member to try this nail place. Although this place is a 30-45 minute drive from where i live i would definitely come back. Some of the ladies were super helpful and nice. The woman who did my nails, KILLED IT. Such a horrible place .... they use Substandard colors that are old/expired, so those are sticky to start with and never dry up. If you ask them to fix the smudge... answer is regular mani/pedi will be like this only. I do mani-pedi biweekly and just wanted to try this place - never coming back. I wanted to express my disappointment with my experience at this nail salon...I got my nails done at Rossy nails salon for the first time because my friend recommended it. I asked for acrylic nails and I showed pictures from their Instagram of the shape and how I wanted them to look. However, after my nails we're done, they were uneven, they were too thick and they looked cheap. I paid $44, she charged me for gel, even though I didn't ask for it. She asked me if I liked them.... I took a moment and I wanted to say no but she said "c'mon don't be difficult" I didn't ask her to redo them because my natural nails would get damaged. I expressed my disappointment to the owner, her concern was who did my nails, instead of saying "come back and I'll fix them, or at least give 5% discount on your next visit" and then ask who did them. So I was highly dissatisfied, I will not go back there and I would not recommend. read more

I travel from white Plains to get my nails and feet done. I only see Marie. My nails last so long no lifts no cracks no breaks. 95% of the time can fit me in at the exact time I need to be seen due to my busy schedule. I can go up to 6 weeks with out a fill if needed. Finally, after I introduced myself , was told to have a seat . 10 min later - I ask - how long & after some discussion told 10 min . I asked - are you sure & told "yes. AMAZING job with my nails. Rossy is the best nail tech i've ever even seen. but the place is FILTHY. i've had multiple people even tell me they got warts after getting a pedicure here. i refuse to get one there now. they are amazing at nails, but i can't exaggerate how gross the place is. and they DO NOT SANITIZE ALL OF THEIR TOOLS. IVE WITNESSED HER USE CUTICLE CUTTERS THAT WERE JUST SITTING ON THE TABLE AFTER THE LAST CUSTOMER. This is why i rarely go here and hesitate to a lot when i do. Do not believe the HYPE! The most revolting nail salon in Mahopac. The owner was rude, not welcoming even after I told her I was a new client. She made no conversation with me while doing my nails, why? Because she was on the phone the whole time. Talking in a another language, none the less. My appointment was set for a gel manicure and pedicure. The women on the phone who took my appointment failed to mention that I'd be going to another manicurist for my pedicure. The women on phone barely understood me. I had to repeat myself numerous times. And she barely spoke correct English. My sister just recently tried Rossy for her nails and was not happy at all. We compared notes and it was exactly same. Rossy is UNPROFESSIONAL. Did I mention she had blasting Spanish and rap music. My sister and I had the WORST experience. I'll never set foot in that establishment. If I could give negative stars I would. My sister and I even felt like she was talking about us with her co workers in Spanish, Laughing as well. This is a poor excuse for a nail salon. You Rossy need to reevaluate how you handle new clients and act more professional. read more

Check out their Instagram! I drive from Port Chester with my daughter so that we can get our manicure and pedicure. Rossy is a sweetheart. Who cares if they speak Spanish? Other salons speak they're language that shouldn't be a problem. These ladies are all professional... the music... I love! Whether it's Spanish, Hip Hop (rap lol) or anything else, it's a fun atmosphere. My daughter and I always enjoy our times there. If we didn't I wouldn't drive 45 minutes away. So try this place!!! HORRIBLE First experience. Returned 3 times in the span of 5 days because my nails kept chipping off. Went in on Monday for an S&S manicure, when I was checking out I noticed my nails felt rough, so I let the girl know and she fixed them & claimed "put the wrong top coat on". About 4 hours later 2 of my nails chipped, so I returned and they were concerned because they were about to close? Made me feel like it was an inconvinence to fix my nails... So they re-soaked my nails a 2nd time and gave me a new s&s manicure.... Only 5 days later they all started chipping off, the entire nail. So I asked for a refund so I could get it done elsewhere and they continously refused. They told me they could give me a gift card or a gel manicure.. They even lied on the phone and told me that the only have 1 person that can do S&S and that she wasnt there to fix them. But I showed up at the salon anyways to express my frustration and show them all of the nails that fell off.. Little do you know the lady who messed up my nails both times before was sitting right there when I walked in.... Workers kept telling me "Rossy" (owner) said no refunds. But they all refused to fix my nails because they were "closing".. Unfortunately my work schedule doesn't work with theirs. But Rossy never once saw what my nails looked like. Nor was she present any time I had to deal with being told it was "too late" to fix my nails or saw how badly they chipped off...... Finally got my refund AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE RIGHT AMOUNT BACK, then argued AGAIN. Worst experience of my life.. read more
