Came here for happy hour and the salt rim margarita was pretty salty inside the drink? The tacos were decent but definitely would not pay full price for them. We did have to wait a bit for a bigger table for taco tuesday and they told us they could only seat us for an hour.

Rosy's Taco Bar has a great Taco Tuesday deal- $1.33/taco! I'd highly recommend combining the Taco Tuesday deal with their Happy Hour deals for a filling and relatively cheap meal! --- My party of 4 made a reservation for Rosy's Taco Bar and were seated ASAP at a table in the back. The service was fast to get us seated, take our order, and bring our food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior exudes taco bar vibes, decorated with Christmas lights, and is bigger than it appears from the outside. The metal chairs are a bit light, so just be careful getting up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't too loud considering the amount of people inside, and we even saw a good number of families.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a hot sauce bar, which isn't really advertised, but you can take a bottle back to your table for seasoning. We ordered the (1) pollo (chicken) tinga, (2) carnitas, and (3) vegetarian (mushroom) tacos for the $1.33/taco Taco Tuesday deal (minimum of 3 tacos per type required). From the Happy Hour $5 menu, we ordered the (1) chorizo quesadilla, (2) classic house margaritas, and (3) churros. Overall: -The pollo tinga tacos were a bit dry, even though there was crema, and we felt there was more lettuce than other filling. When we added a hot sauce from the sauce bar to these, we enjoyed them more. Otherwise, we'd pass. -The carnitas tacos were delicious! Full of filling and juicy, we would reorder these for sure again. -The vegetarian mushroom tacos were good, juicy and flavorful. However, we preferred the carnitas tacos. Probably pass next time. -The chorizo quesadilla was awesome. Super flavorful, great cheese ratio, and not too greasy. It was more toasted instead of crispy, which I prefer. We'd definitely reorder these too. -The house margaritas come with either tajin, sugar, or salt on their rims. Great drink at a great price. -Lastly, the churros were pretty average, but really hit the spot! Rosy's Taco Bar promises cheap tacos and drinks for Taco Tuesday, and I'd say it certainly delivers. We had a great time, and I'd recommend anyone craving cheap tacos to stop by on Tuesday!

I heard lots of great things about this place but the food fell so short. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options. We got the nachos and I got the enchiladas with cheese. So bland. Everything was so bland. I even got the divorciado sauce, so bland. Nothing had any remote flavor to begin with. There's better options in the city. Maybe this place has better drinks or something because I do not get the hype.

I've been loving this bar. The first time I came here was on a Cinco de Mayo and that my friend was a huge mistake. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even if I had had a reservation which we did not it was way too crowded and noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Circling back some months later I arrived again, no reservation required and was seated immediately to wait for my guest. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is chill, definitely giving friendly neighborhood meet up spot and that's what I've been doing ever since.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can sit at one of two bars, perch at a tiny high top, lounge at a long communal table or hang outside. Rosy's has you covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for the food, great!!! You know I love a good Al Pastor Taco dammit. The Valentina Wings are also a favorite and love that they have a hot sauce bar. Margaritas are on point as well. Fun fact, Rosy wasn't a lady but former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's older brother.

one of the best happy hours in the city. You can't beat Taco Tuesday deals either $5 margs (delicious) and $1.33 tacos. will get this every time.

Stopped by Rosy's after just searching for restaurants in the area. I am super glad that I did. I sat at the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place had a fun vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Rosy's was packed, but the staff was still able to be very attentive. Quick fast service. I had the Queso Enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely gonna go back and try more food!

As someone who just moved up from Florida (and originally from Texas), I'll admit I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to Mexican food -- so Rosy's isn't exactly authentic, but it has its own charm. It's a trendy taco spot with a full bar, plenty of menu options, and a great location right in Rittenhouse. I ordered the bistec tacos -- the meat was tender and cooked well, but lacked the seasoning I'm used to. Definitely felt more "white-washed" than traditional. My partner got the shrimp enchiladas, and they were also missing the bold flavors and spice you'd normally expect. Nothing was bad, just a little watered down across the board. We also got the chips with salsa and guac for $15 -- steep compared to what you'd get for free back home, but to their credit, the guac was super fresh and they gave us a generous portion. The salsa was clearly homemade and fresh too, just milder and thinner than I prefer. Service was great -- our server was attentive, kept the water refilled, and the food came out fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's indoor and outdoor seating; inside is lively and festive, while outside is a bit quieter (but still by the road).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They even pump music outside, which helps with the vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it's not authentic Mexican, but it's still a nice spot with fresh ingredients, good energy, and solid service.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fast service, great atmosphere, delicious food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the korean tacos without the sauce and they were PERFECT. The kimchi added an extra zest to the taco. I'd definitely recommend!

Brought a friend visiting Philly here for lunch and she's already planning her next visit to come back because of this place! We shared the esquites which were phenomenal! The two of us often order that when its on the menu, and Rosy's is the best by far. She ordered tacos and I got the queso enchiladas, we CLEANED our plates! Our sever was super friendly, the vibes were relaxed and welcoming. It's a bit pricy for what most Mexican food goes for in the city, but in my opinion it is well worth it. They even have a hot sauce bar where you can try out a dozen or so hot sauces with your meal!

The food was great! I got the chips and salsa, chx tacos, some other tacos i think with pork, and sweet chilli wings!

I had walked past Rosy's dozens of times, but never had stopped in, until last night. We ordered 3 taco dishes - shrimp, chicken and steak. Let's start with the steak tacos. The steak was so well done, we chewed, and chewed, and chewed. I really can't remember having to chew meat for that long. Suffice to say, I didn't finish the taco, neither did my friend. Next, the shrimp tacos. They were fine - little marinated, grilled shrimps with an avocado salsa. I would have preferred larger shrimps, but for the price, (they probably were frozen) the tacos were good. Last, but definitely not least, the chicken tacos were actually very good; with shaved radish, and a delicious crema, the pulled chicken was flavorful and tender. Will I be returning to Rosy's? I don't think so.

I went there for a quick lunch. The beef taco was really good, and the chips came with lots of guacamole(like enough for a whole family). The portion was big, and I liked the flavors. The service was fast and friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there were plenty of outdoor seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

How is the streetery dining in the evening? Are there any heating elements? How big are the tables? Big enough for six adults?

First, we're kind of on an enmolada (chicken mole enchiladas) kick, and have been slowly touring the city ordering it everywhere it's available. We love what we've gotten so far, but most mole sauces have been more on the raisin/chocolate/coffee/lightly sweet side of the spectrum. Taqueria Morales' enmoladas were nutty and complex up front, with a lingering taste of delicious smoke and heat afterward. No joke, it was like the mole equivalent of a nice cognac. Would absolutely come just for this. Myself? I was hankering for al pastor and heard and seen that Taqueria Morales is solid on the al pastor front. Well, I heard and seen rightly, because the meat was well marinated and had an excellent balance of sourness and floral spice in the mix, and came out on what I can only assume are house-made tortillas with a side of radishes and nopales (cactus). Every bite was perfect, and that was before I added on some of the green and red salsas that our chips and guac came with. Finally, the staff was bomb. The lady taking our orders and serving us was super nice and attentive, and the kitchen was FAST. Couldn't have been more than 7 minutes from placing our order and sitting down to getting it out in front of us. It was so good I almost wished we stopped back after the backbreaker of a game to get some comfort tacos. Don't miss this place!
