I went in this business two weeks prior to June 23 2026 and on June 23 2026. I had just purchased our 2018 Toyota Thunder SR5 4 door extended cab 4WD truck and had also had it serviced in May. There were no scratched swirl marks from on our truck and no broken side mirror. The first time we entered this car wash; both front side mirrors were pushed backward with force. My husband was driving, he opened his window and pulled his mirror back into position, I opened the front passenger window and had to use force pulling the mirror back into position. At that time, I did not get out of the truck to inspect. Then the second trip I was driving and when I went through the car wash the passenger side mirror from the car wash revolved rollers at the end was thrusted backwards again. This mirror had a crack from the previous trip and they also saw that in the camera but it did not have the paint swirl marks that was very noticeable when shutting the passenger front door. I went back and forth with emails which I save in a word document, . I asked several times in emails about the paint she refused to acknowledge any of my request. They are not an Ethical honest company. They only look for fault and reasons not to pay and file a claim with their insurance. . The refused to take ownership of the paint scratches and the broken mirror. We just bought our truck so we know this was not broken. Quality car wash claim department would not acknowledge the fact they ruin my paint on my truck or broken mirror. I also place a review on their facebook page and the removed the first review, they only want positive reviews. I took my truck to a repair shop and Collision repair shop and they also replied the swirl marks came from their rollers and the rollers are at a high speed. The person at that establishment informed me his own vehicle had some issues on his paint when he drove his car through and he would never go through it again. He told me a lot of people have had issues and good luck with trying to get Quality car wash to pay for what their rollers did. But they would try to to file a claim to them but they already warned me Quality Car wash (Tommy Express ) tries every way not to cover damage from their machines. SO checking with how fast these rollers and spin they cannot control the speed . ASKED AI which searches the entire web Drying rollers and washers in automatic car washes typically spin between 60 to 120 RPM. These rapidly spinning foam or cloth strips can act like sandpaper if they trap grit or dirt from previous vehicles, causing surface scratches and localized swirl marks on your truck's clear coat. This location's wash seems to do better at reading my license plate (it contains a zero, which the computers sometimes interpret as an O and forces a manual lookup--frustrating). I also try to leave ample space between my car and the cars behind and ahead of me. Either other drivers don't actually put their cars in neutral, or the track gets wonky because sometimes the cars can creep closer to each other. That's a nerve wracking thing to sit through while the wonderful colors are flashing in the suds rave party. Again, I adore the free vacuums, though. Thanks for those! read more

I've spent the past week, going back and forth with Mandy and Mark Baker at Quality Car Wash Corporate on Lakewood. My car had $200.00 worth of damage done to it after going through the wash on River Ave. All due to the car wash. Neither of these "Guest Experience Specialists" were willing to make it right. I have been a loyal customer of Quality Car Wash for several years. They would rather lose a customer, than to stand behind their product. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! The flat tracks that conveyor your car through the car wash are not dependable. I have significant damage to the front right corner of my newer truck. Over 1000 damage. Immediately I talked to the manager of the car wash and they were defensive even when they saw the video of it moving my car off the track. I'm waiting to hear to see if they will be responsible for the damages. I've never liked this flat track system because you're never sure if you're on it or not. If they do the right thing, I will take down this post. But initially they have not responded to my claim. read more

This is by far my favorite Quality Car Wash to go through. A little more automated than the others around the area, this one seems to have gotten some extra love and attention from the folks at Corporate. When you arrive, there are three lines: one with a cashier, one with an automated pay machine, and one just for those who belong to their unlimited club. The gates open automatically to control the line and allow you to drive into the wash area. What's different about this location is how you load into the car wash. No trying to line your front left tire into the track. Instead, you drive onto a long conveyor and as soon as your front tires are on it, you put it in neutral and it guides you the rest of the way. Bought the works ($20). Hardly any soap came out during the wash, and the car still had a lot of bugs on the grill. Honestly, didn't look any different than when we went in. Also, the Works is supposed to come with tire shine. That didn't happen. At least the vacuums were free. read more

So they are niceish enough but they get really mad when there car wash barely washes my car and I ask to go through again because I still have bugs all over my car and they say "hey next time use our prewash station" (the window washing thing every gas station has that they just happen to call the prewash station) and I say "if I wanted to get out of my car and wash it why would I pay 16 dollars for your car wash?" I love quality! I got the unlimited car washes which is great, the only issue I have is they never put the plastic sleeve over the rear wiper blade. I've noticed people getting them and try to be patient thinking I will get one too. But no never happened I have had this membership for about a month now and have gotten my car washed pretty much every day and today was my breaking point...again I saw them giving people the sleeves for their rear wiper and he was putting them on quite a few cars in front of me. Then the gentleman disappeared and then I saw him kinda peaking out and I asked him as he was about to go to a car that was behind me to give them a sleeve. I literally had to stop him and ask can I please get one of those too. That's my only issue. It's fine if they want to by liable for replacing people wipers but don't think they would want that. plain and simple they need to be better about putting those on the vehicles that require these. DO NOT WASH YOUR CAR HERE. The car wash off of Chicago drive in holland scratched my passenger window, trim, and mirror causing $1,080 worth of damage. Spoke to the manager who was rude, wouldn't listen, and tried making up spots on my car to not help me. I left and tried speaking to the Corporate President. She was worse than the actual manager wouldn't listen to me and wouldn't do anything to help. I now have to spent $580 to fix my car plus paying for my rental AFTER insurance on something that I shouldn't have had to pay for in the first place. If you want to spend $1,200 on a car wash and speak to managers that treat you like you don't matter this is the place for you. read more
