Roto-Rooter really came through during a remodel where I found a leaking pipe in the wall.

I called and asked for an evaluation of my septic leach field by their "expert" and was told it would be a few days before they could come. I agreed and after almost two weeks, called again. Again I was asked if I could wait a week or so, and I agreed. Two weeks later I called again and this time left a voice message. A weeks later I called again (no reply from the 1st voice message) and left another voice message. A week later I left a 3rd voice message saying I would not call again and if they wanted my business they should call ME. They never did. Russ Johnson Pawleys Island SC

The septic tank is not even level in anyway sticking up higher than her house. One of her bathrooms is now unusable due to their incompetence. Other plumbers were called to house and said they wouldnt even touch it because he didnt even install it correct that if they touched it it would now be there responsibility. Michael the owner is aware of this told my sister he would come and fix it but still no resolution. He even left equipment in yard and cam late at night to get it so he wouldnt have to talk to them about the mess he made of their house. This is a shady character do not trust.

Very happy overall. Estimator showed up about 8:30 am and by noon, the job was completed. The…read moreplumber showed up, with the hot water tank I wanted, and it was installed with no mess! Come on, admit it! No one looks at their hot water tank. Granted, been talking about mine awhile with my HVAC guy about a replacement but we never looked at it. Was installed in the house I built in 2017. Well, it was in rough shape. It was rotten out at the intake water pipes and slowly leaking down the wall. Now I'm like, WTF!!! Emergency mode! Heading on down to Home Depot at 6pm on a Tuesday night. The girl there was just like here, call this number to our subcontractor. Talked to a person right away, said the estimator will be by your house by 9pm that night. Well, by the time that work order got into the system, the appointment was never set. Got a text message next morning at 6 am...I'm first on the list and as I already wrote, all went very smoothly. People, money is no object when you are facing 50 gallons of water in your garage!!! Just get the job done please! lol. Paid a very reasonable price for same day job. I notified all my neighbors to maybe you want to put eyes on your tanks since we all built homes about the same timeframe. Go figure! I'm the lucky winner with the only bad one. Sucks that these newer systems don't last like they used to but I guess it's a sign of the time.

Three stars for getting an appointment the same day I called…read more $139 fee to come over but they don't tell you that unless you ask. And $139 rip off. After the technician arrived, everything went downhill fast. I made it clear that I was on a fixed income and wanted to repair and not replace the ac unit, however, the technician had other ideas. They could have repaired it for $2200 which I knew was quite high, however that was downplayed. The technician explained the ac unit was old at 10 years and my unit's motor was special with two parts that costs more to repair so it wasn't worth spending $2200 when I could get a new unit for $10,000 to $14,000. After explaining that I couldn't afford to replace my ac I was connected to another person who was to come over later to discuss various options which were to include repairing at a discounted rate. That appointment ended fast because he was there to discuss options in buying a new unit and nothing else. I ended up contacting other companies that offered so much more help. In the end my ac was repaired for $950. The companies were upfront in the cost of the motor ($400 and the labor of $450 plus $100 service charge). I do not recommend ARS which was a complete farce on a very hot day.
