Our first time here, and was not disappointed, starting with the awesome service, vert attentive. We really loved the nostalgic family feel, they even have a game room that brought back memories( Mrs Pac-Man and Galaga). The pizza was excellent and delicious the sausage with fennel gave the pizza an extra kick. Chicken Alfredo was good but would have liked more sauce and seasoning. Fridays are our pizza night so we decided to try something new. First time going here and it really is the best pizza I have had since we moved here in sept. Rotolo's is one of our more preferred pizza restaurants in the area. This isn't a "Dom@#$'s" or "P#^$ Hut" level of food, but a definite step above in my opinion. The ingredients are higher quality and the tase is certainly better. The cheese sticks here are really good, but it's more of a cheese bread and not a "mozzarella cheese" stick that is deep fried. They are good, but just be aware. Our typical orders are usually either the Meat Feast, Bayou BBQ Chicken or Maui Wowi and they are all uniquely delicious. The wings here are also pretty darn good and if we have some of the kids eating with us, we'll usually grab an order of those as well. Now, the only downside. The pricing here is a bit on the higher side and if you are on a tight budget, this may be a place for a treat more than a weekly meal, but that doesn't change the fact that fresh ingredients and great service will almost always cost a little more. Service started off rough as waitress kept coming back to table because she forgot what we ordered. We ordered 16 wings then they came out with only 7. The wings tasted horrible and they charges us for 8 when we didn't get the full amount! The waitress kept saying I don't know what happened in kitchen but we aren't charging When we got the bill another lady came out and said because her manager Kaitlyn wasn't there they had to charge for 8 wings. read more

My neighbor turn me on to this great pizza place. The crust is cooked perfect and each pizza that I tried was amazing. My favorite so far is the Muffuletta pizza, with my little one likening the cheeseburger pizza. This is a pizza place that's definitely worth trying out. read more

NEVER AGAIN! My husband and I showed up 25 minutes before closing tonight. We were taking out (knowing the place closes at 9pm, trying to be courteous to the workers and not give them more to clean up), so the bar tender asked if we would like a drink while waiting. My husband ordered a shot of patron, while I requested a cranberry and grey goose... which was basically a glass of cranberry juice with a splash of vodka.. it was sooo maroon and weak (coming from someone who doesn't drink much). That was strike 2, because the 1st strike is from the staff taking a while to greet us and seemed disappointed that we walked in at 8:35... so, my husband and I both ordered two 8"pizzas to go.. my husband ordered 3 extra toppings on an 8" pizza, and was charged $4.10 in extra toppings.. original price is 7.99 for an 8"....i ordered Muffaletta pizza.. I open the box when I get home, mind you, you get 4 small slices of pizza on an 8". On each slice I had one piece of Canadian bacon, one piece of salami, and 2 tiny pepperoni. Also, muffalettas are known for the olive salad.. I had FIVE olives on the 8 inch pizza.. y'all could have put one per inch.. I went here for our weekly date night, and this is the first negative review that I have ever made.. NEVER AGAIN! The pizza is good, you get your money's worth if you stick to the traditional pizzas. Not overly salty and the wait time isn't bad. It's a good place to eat. However, I can't understand how every seat in the restaurant is hard wood. Both the chairs AND the booths? What about people with bad backs? I would love to dine in here again but I won't knowing there is no cushioned seating. Maybe spend a few extra bucks and spring for some cushion at least for the booths. read more

I had never been to a Rotolos Pizzeria until tonight mainly because I'd never heard of the chain. I didn't know the history, the LSU/BR connection. Tonight I wanted a small pepperoni pizza and since I was in Youngsville, I decided to stop in. The parking was the only "bad" part of the experience - and only because the restaurant was busy! I walked in and was pleasantly surprised to see an upscale pizzeria with a family atmosphere yet sports -bar/pizzeria feel. I was greeted immediately and kindly. I explained this was my first visit, and the hostess answered my menu questions and offered me a seat while she placed my order. Though the place was busy, the staff was very efficient in checking on and serving their patrons. I was asked if I had been waited on several times, offered a Coke, and asked if I needed a refill. My wait was very short, actually, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a comfortable, classy casual place. Perfect for families, friends, dates, quick bite to eat, even carry out. The menu revealed there is much more to Rotolos than pizza! Salads - many. Sandwiches - many - Gelato and desserts! And veggie options and wheat crust too. My pizza quickly arrived, and I could smell lots of cheese. Not the smell I associate with my previous pizza carry outs. I tasted my pizza - so fresh! The cheese, the pepperoni, and the crust - I could taste the fresh dough. The pizza was not heavy as so many are, and I believe I have found my new pizza place.
