Everything & I mean everything was amazing! Service was amazing- our server was attentive, friendly, and gave great advice for food choices. The environment was great, not so loud. My friends and I were able to hear each other and not others conversations. The food was delicious and the new Rose Sangria was tasty! We had the calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and shrimp scampi for appetizers. I had the Italian salad - my absolute favorite. It's been awhile since we have been here, and still the same great place, love the dining room area, and the service is impressive as always. Crab cakes were very good and perfect start to lunch. Carrabbas ! I went for a dinner and tried a lot of things. Service was fantastic - and was recommended a great wine. The stuffed mushrooms app, lentil & chicken noodle soups were 10/10! The pasta was good but a bit over the top. The chicken Marsala from the chicken flight was good! Loved the bread pudding but so large and sweet. Have tried it twice within the past few months. Just not anything to keep us going back. The flavor was lacking and we think there's better restaurants around. No sense being disappointed. The service is fine but there's no wow to any of the food we've tried. I even ordered a cup of Chicken soup. Underwhelming for sure and not hot - barely warm. I ate less than half of the cup. With great restaurants serving terrific food consistently, we won't give them another try. read more

I've been a Carrabba's fan for a long time because their food is fresh and of course tasty. The location in Lafayette has a fantastic staff . The manager, Lupe, is Top Shelf. I would say that even in these challenging economic times, they have come through with an affordable lunch menu that is still very good but affordable. They serve the BEST lasagna in town! The Rigatoni was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the Pinot Noir, LA Crema; is being phased out by Corporate ( it never fails. Let some higher up who is difranchised ruin it for everyone). Shawn , our waiter who was taking care of half of the restaurant never missed a beat or sweated under the pressure. He was excellent!! This has always been my go-to favorite italian spot! From the Scotty Thompson to the Chicken Bryan, I have to have it every so often and ONLY from Carrabbas. Did have a bad experience Christmas eve a few years ago....called ahead and asked for reservations. The young lady on the phone said sure, took my info, and that was that. Called the day before to confirm, said all was good to go. Got there, was told " 'We dont' take reservations', have a seat over there and when a table is ready, we will let you know. " We waited for over an hour, fuming. finally got the table was was slam rushed to hurry and let them turn over the table for someone else....haven't been back, at least not the the Lafayette facility. read more

We always have a great dining experience at Carrabba's, whether for lunch, dinner, or the monthly wine dinners. The food is always great and it feels good to be able to order any of their soups, even though I am gluten free, because the pasta is added last and can easily be omitted. They serve an excellent Pinot Noir; whom the Bar tender told me that they are phasing out in order to slim down the amount of space dedicated to wine storage (I think they are making a big mistake, but he told me it was a corporate decision). Great food, not a chain feel. Italian family here and this is better than ANY local place that claims Italian i.e Alessi's etc. Variety for meal options and GREAT drinks! We've been a long time patron here. This applies to the inside and the "to-go" service. The quality is dropping off from a high mark to a mediocre mark. The curbside personnel are excellent, friendly, and very hard working. They can only deliver what someone else prepared. The quality control is way off where it once was. The spaghetti sauce tasted watered down, the smothered spinach was cold, the spaghetti noodles were pasty (overcooked). In the Mahi Wulfe, the prep placed the small container of the lemon butter sauce for the angel hair pasta INSIDE the to-go package sitting on top of the food - gross!! who else touched that container and it's sitting on top of food to be eaten. Alright!..so the first visit on thursday Nov 14th EVERYTHING was on point, the manager Dave was working and the food was GRRREAAT!..Real nice Atmosphere!...it was sooo great we made a second trip today the 23rd...now the food is still good, great service,........buuut something was a little different...still not bad compared to first visit i would say based on the speed at which the food arrived the second time I would speculate maybe a convection oven was used to reheat the main dishes as opposed to food being prepared like it was on visit one, now we still broke the plates down like a fraction but that first trip on Thursday evening smelled like we walked into a fresh herb garden, kinda wasn't the same on visit two. Y'all! I don't know how in the world I haven't made my way to Carrabbas before last night but, I am ashamed! To start our server's name is Lexxi (sorry if I misspelled it my girl) and she was phenomenal. When we arrived it was kind of quiet. We were sat to a cozy booth and she came over right away. We ordered drinks to start which was the Prickly Pear Martini and the Peach Lemonade (now forgive me those aren't the exact names). It was so delicious! We had to pace ourselves. We skipped appetizers (but won't do that again) and went with the Chicken Trio for the entree. Every part of that was delicious. Our server came to check on us quite a bit but not too often to be annoying. We couldn't deal between the cannoli cake or the limoncello bread pudding. I was a little skeptical about bread pudding because I haven't had too much luck with restaurants lately, but as soon as she brought it to the table............ let's just say it made up for all my disappointments! It was so good. This time, we decided to share our meal but next time we come in we will have to have our own dish!!!! I been wanting to try Carrabba's for some time now and unfortunately it failed me. I ordered the fettuccine weezie which comes with a soup or salad. The pasta looked appealing however it lacked flavor. The good think about this restaurant is that they have happy hour they offer $5 martinis, beers and Bellinis. I have always loved Carrabba's! They have amazing food and such nice waiters and waitresses. I went here today and got such great service and meals. My waiter even put a candle in my cannoli cake. Absolute satisfaction! My problem was how the water wasn't clean.. there was a bug in it.. I don't really appreciate that, considering I had my family with me. But Carrabba's... gets the straight forward. It's not worth the money. The price point on the food is too high. There is nothing exceptional or innovative about the menu. The food was cold and clumpy. The service (on a Friday at 6:30 with no wait at the door) was slow, lithargic, and disinterested. We chose to have dinner here because we received a nice gift card for the holidays... And we were looking forward to the reckless abandon of eating on someone else's dime.
