Holy rude. I've been putting my gas here for years! Years! Now I will never come back to this place and encourage others to do so. I came this morning to fill my tank up and the payment pad was acting up, I had entered my card, pin and was waiting for authorization. That was about a full minute and I noticed my card was locked in. So I gestured to the cashier lady and she gestured to come to her, which I did. Immediately she copped a bad attitude which was shocking as I was not at fault. She came at me saying when you continually press buttons it's going to stay locked. Assuming I was messing with it! I said I entered my pin and was waiting for authorization and she looked at her little computer and said, no I did not. Ummm I know what I did!!! Dumbfounded at the bad attitude, costumer service and even GASLIGHTING. I will not be spending another dime here. It takes more energy to have a poor attitude or maybe she just didn't have her coffee yet? Leave your shit at the door ma'am. read more

After getting gas here once, I also started getting scam likely calls. I need to double check my bank statement for additional charges, like some if the other reviews have mentioned. Today will be the 2nd and last time I ever come here. The first pump I pulled up to said machine broken, please pay inside. I checked the pump next to me, and it said accepting cards. I pull up to it, then it says "please pay inside". I checked a 3rd pump, then pulled up, only to have the message change to "please pay inside" again. I go up to the clerk and ask him why all the machines keep telling be to pay inside after I pull up. He told me to go to pump #3, which I had just come from. Again, I try to tell him that the message changes after I pull up. So I try to pay at the kiosk, & he asks me how much. I told him I want a full tank. He says I have to know the dollar amount. I don't know how many other customers are clairvoyant and know the exact dollar amount to get their tank to full. He then tells me to give a higher amount, then they will reimburse me for the unused amount. Now this is getting beyond suspicious. I'm glad I decided to leave & check the other reviews, and sure enough, shady things happen here. In the end, instead of helping me out, he gets irritated with me & asks me: "if you don't want so many problems, why do you come here?" Good question! I won't! Update: just checked my bank account, and they charged me 2 times for the full amount the last time I came here. Horrible! read more

The price for the gas at this station on Stevens Creek/ Lawrence Exp (Cupertino) is good but the fat lady in the morning shift is always so mean! Since I lives close to that station, I will still do the business there but not in the morning to noon ( her shift) anymore! This was my go to station for years, but they lost me forever with their obscene price gouging over the past couple of months. Yes, we all know gas prices are insane in the state and all over the country. What I'm talking about is the overnight surge in price this station has pushed through multiple times the moment another article is written online about $10 gas coming to Cali. Lately, half the pumps don't even work or the card readers are down. The system itself has gotten painfully slow in recent months. Not sure where the money is going because little of it seems to be funneled back into the station itself. The whole point any one goes to Rotten Robbie is to get their gas at a nice discount. There's a Shell next door that used to be an entire dollar per gallon higher than this Rotten Robbie. Now that gap has closed to just 10 cents. Why go to Rotten Robbie over the average Shell, Gulf, Arco, 76, etc now that the prices are the same or negligible? Somehow their prices are even within shouting distance of some local Chevrons. Be careful using this station. I got gas here on 12/09/21, and about 30 minutes later received several phone calls, all labeled "scam likely" from my (supposed) bank. I called my bank and discovered 2 separate charges on my debit card (which I had used at Rotten Robbie), for $100 each. It now costs about $60 to fill my vehicles gas tank. I called my bank, cancelled my card and received a replacement in 2 business days. I went again to this same Rotten Robbie station on 12/18/21 and filled my tank. Within 10 minutes I received a text message from "my bank" telling me to call as they had questions about fraud on my debit card. I called my bank, they did not send the text. I did however, have another $100 fraudulent charge on my card. I've now cancelled this 2nd card, and will receive another. I'm wondering if others have had this same experience? I came here for the cheap gas. I needed to fill up the rental car before returning it the next morning. I walked in the store, paid with cash, filled up the tank, cleaned out the trash in the car and I left. I didn't have any issues and I was happy I saved a few bucks. read more

This gas station is the closest to my home and the prices are cheaper than Shell, 76, and Chevron. Valero and Arco are cheaper if you pay with cash. If no cash and you use your ATM card, there is a 45 cent charge that goes along with it. Hidden fees, I tell you! Rotten Robbie is clean and will give you free air if you fill up, however, the last time I went there and tried to fill my tires, it was broken. More air was coming out than coming in. Complete waste of time. I say, go to the Shell Station, farther down. Even though it's 75 cents, it saves you the aggravation. read more

Fairly basic gas station. Just a few pumps, nothing fancy. Gas tends to be priced a smidge higher here compared to other stations, probably because there aren't too many others right here and it's right by a bunch of homes/apartments. Convenience store is minuscule, haven't been in myself but bf has picked up energy drinks here. We really only stop here of we are desperately out of gas, it's not our station of choice. Can be a little hard to get I to/out of if there are cars pumping due to tight fit and small lot. read more

I have used this gas station for many years, the price is good and the service has always been friendly. Over the last few months the pumps haven't been working very well. They click off periodically and the pump is painfully slow. I stopped by today to get gas, all the pumps said to pay inside. There was no one there. I waited for a good five minutes before I gave up and drove down the street to Alliance - same price, but I could actually get gas. Hopefully, the pumps will be fixed soon, but as of right now, they have lost my business. read more

May 22, 2017 9 PM, we were driving home and passed the rotten robbie gas station and saw their prices on gas is way cheaper than shell, so we decided to u-turn and fill in to RR. I decided to put $45 (2 $20's and 5 $1) coz were heading SoCal the next day. While I was paying at the cashier, I told him $45 for my gasoline then I asked a receipt and for some reason ittakes him a while to print and he printed $5 cash! I told him that I gave him 45 but he told me that I just gave $5!!! I know for sure that I gave $45 for this low life sucker because I double checked before I gave to him.
