I've been coming here almost daily for the last 4 years because I live just nearby--it's been my go-to spot for convenience and consistency. Today, everything changed. The owner's wife flat-out refused me entry with my legally trained service dog, who are always well-behaved and being there multiple times with me. She got confrontational right away, arguing loudly and using rude language that left me stunned after all this time as a loyal regular. Service animals are protected by law (ADA), and I've never had an issue anywhere else. This felt discriminatory and heartbreaking. After 4 years of support, I'll never return. Have been coming here almost every Saturday for about a year now to buy lottery tickets, same quantity, same kind. Today around 1:30pm-1:45pm, I go in to exchange my ticket winning for 60 bucks. Here is the dialogue after handing the male worker the ticket and he runs through the ticket machine: Him: 60 dollars Me: can I get 40 super lotto and $20? Him: okay, 40 super lotto? Me: yup, 40 super lotto. Him: *accidentally pushes for powerball* Him after messing up: we only have powerball. Do you want powerball? Me: no, I didn't ask for powerball. I asked for super lotto. Him: well, we don't have super lotto, only powerball. Me: well, I don't want it then. Give me my 60 bucks. Him: no money. Me: well, I don't want the powerball that I never asked for so give me the 60... Him: *finally goes to register to get $60* while speaking something under his breath in a foreign language Me: *irritated and NEVER coming back* This has happened before and rather than lying about NOT having tickets for a particular lottery, I was just given what I had wanted to buy in the first place. I have been coming to this 7-Eleven for the past two years. My husband has advised me against not going to the 7-Eleven because they shortchange you. I just went in there today May 8th, 2020 at 12:20pm. I went to buy something behind the counter and Sing (that is what name he gave me) dropped what i was buying and it fell to the store floor. I said "please can i have one that didn't drop on the floor". His response bothered me especially during these times. He said "it didn't matter and anyway the next probably feel on the floor too". This took me back a little as that is not what I wanted to hear. He then went on to say "anyway I don't care, if you don't like it go somewhere else. I don't need you in here. Go buy somewhere else." At all times I remained polite and non-confrontational. This is the wrong attitude to have during these Covid time so be careful when going here. In my opinion, someone should have a talk with him about this and caring for the healthy if their customers and just at minimum care if when someone is willing to be their customer right now. This store can't be trusted. The owner steals money from kids, giving the wrong change, keeping receipts, and selling game cards with no money on it. When confronted, the owner lied that he was not the owner. Only when threatened with a visit from the police, he threw money at us and still denied that he was the owner. I usually wouldn't write a yelp review about the store like this but I was just upset with a creepy cashier. I went here one night to buy a scratcher ticket and the guy was just being completely creepy. Also because it was late at night and I was the only one in there at the moment. When I went up to buy it he did this creepy thing where he raised his upper lip and sucked in air and crinkle your nose, at first I thought he was smelling something and then I said excuse me and he did it again in no shame. I instantly got my money back once I bought my stuff and yelled pervert. I'm a young girl too, this guy was in his like 40's or something. Another time I visited, back when I was in high school I clearly remember paying him a $20 for something that I bought small and he gave me like 5 bucks and a couple dollars back and i told him I gave him a 20 but he said no. I've heard stories about this a couple times. Probably because I was young and kids don't usually pay attention to these things, but they do it to them all the time. Pretty much the hit on little girls and still money from kids. So girls stay away and don't pay in cash if you're of the younger age. read more

Oh boy. The only real reason to go to this store is so you can go back and write about it on Yelp! I go to pay for some Ruffles and a 2L bottle of Sprite. The bottle falls over on the counter..no big. Before I knew it, the cashier grabs the top, cracks the seal and smiles saying.."In my country there would be a BIG explosion (hand gestures)' I say " Yeah, that happens in my country too (you idiot)!". WTF? Why are you touching my food? Why are you breaking the seal. 5 year-old kids all over the world know a bottle of dropped soda will spray up.... It's weird because I go there only when I'm out walking and it's always empty and there's always the same guy working and he's really nice and always pushes a pack of matches across to me. Arrrrgh. I've been to better 7/11's over the years. The only thing going for this place is that it's tucked away off Stevens Creek and mainly just visited by local residents in the surrounding two neighborhoods. I've noticed several expired expiration dates and have also had negative experiences with some of the "riff-raff" that like to loiter around the door and walkway. It's sucks. Probably won't be coming to this 7-11 again, I'll get my cigarettes from Rotten Robbie from now on. I go up to the register to ask for the cigarettes, he then rolls his eyes and grabs them. Walked in last night at around 1am to pick up a pack of smokes. I pulled up and the cashier saw me. I entered the building and instantly the man walked away and to the back of the store. I waited patiently and counted out the change. He appeared 2 minutes later but stood off to the side and was fiddling with some scanner type machine. I leaned over the counter and said hello. He ignored me and 2 or 3 minutes later he finally decided to assist me..... very angrily. When the renovations were complete and the new owners took over, I had hope for this 7-eleven. But, after today, I will go out of my way to buy milk and snacks and Slurpees at the Moorpark 7-eleven because I find the staff here very rude. I ran in to buy a couple gallons of milk today and the whole 4 minutes I was in the store the woman at the register was having a bluetooth conversation and not making eye contact with any customers, or saying hello, or even telling them the total of their purchases. I don't expect much from a convenience store clerk, but I do expect them to tell me the amount of my sale. Then she seemed annoyed with ME because I was looking at the display on the register for the total, which was unclear because it wasn't showing the discount for buying 2 gallons of milk. This crew doesn't give a crap about the neighborhood they're in, or the customers they serve, so that's why they lost a 14-year customer today. read more
