The price here is at least $0.30 cheaper than other gas station. Since there are more electric cars now the wait is usually less than 5 min on non-weekend days. I don't know about weekends since I usually avoid going to Costco on Sat/Sun. If I can wait to fill up my gas at Costco it's totally worth it. The only drawback is if you have to fill in the middle pump. It's a little bit difficult especially if you have a big car. read more

There is usually enough room to "parallel park" into one of the pump spots if they're stuck in between or at the latter end. Prices are the usual for Costco with regular (87) and premium (91) grades. Came here and was happy that I filled up. Cheap gas and all the pumps were working. It was clean and covered from the sun. There are three pumps per side which keeps the lines moving along quickly. They open at 6am and close at 9:30pm Yes, if you go between 11am and 7pm during the weekdays and pretty much any time during the weekend, you will probably experience a long wait. A real long wait. The Fremont Costco location is known to move the most volume of goods in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, the gas station is also a victim of the masses. I usually go when they open around 6am. But I've been there earlier than that. The guys who open in the morning, I've seen, get the locks off and the pumps going as early as 5:45 on my way to work. So thankful they do that cuz sometimes I get an early start of to work and there are no lines. And then again, usually after 8pm is the pull up and pump. The prices are usually 10-25 cents cheaper than big name gas. And the quality of gas is good enough to put in my Audi consistently. This was a newer location for us and if they can figure out the traffic flow issues it has alot of potential. The issue is that they have two entrances, but they all converge at one location which with the 4 way stop and the general decline in driving skills means its unnecessarily slow. There is also construction making it a tri fecta of hell. As I say with all of my Costco gas reviews: Its Costco and its gasoline. Even if you don't need 25 gallons of sliced pickles, you can make up the membership cost just on the gas alone. Its typically 20-30 cents cheaper than the national brands and usually is the cheapest in a any given location. They are setup to be super efficient with long hoses so even if you driving an SUV and get on the wrong side you can pull it over. Plus they have a middle lane allowing you to hop ahead. Its always credit only and 89/91 octane no middle stuff. This location is set up for even more efficiency it seems. The pumps are triple deep, and the they not only have the traditional swipe, they also have a NFC reader if you have a chip equipped card (just tap it) and also a QR code reader (not sure why though) read more

A gas station designed for high throughput. This Costco gas station has 3 pumps per line instead of the usual 2, so each line moves faster. There are 8 lines here, so 24 pumps total. Not too shabby. Costco gas prices are always noticeably lower than most of the competition, which is one of the main reasons I find it worthwhile to have a Costco membership. There's a 4-way stop sign to get through this shopping plaza, so traffic can get slow and start backing up onto Coleman Ave. But Costcos are always crazy busy, so it's not clear how much worse the 4-way stop makes the traffic situation. My preferred strategy is to swing by about 10 minutes before the closing time. Due to the high throughput this place allows and because the gas station closes a full hour after the warehouse does, there's pretty much no wait at this time! read more

Yay for Costco Gasoline's lower gas prices and extended hours. This location moved their gas pumps to another area of the parking lot and increased the number of pumps about 2 years ago. Less bottleneck here than Sunnyvale and San Jose Brokaw. Hours of operation are longer than warehouse hours, so it's easy to fill up on your way to work or after shopping for groceries after work. M-F 5:30a-9:30p Sat 6a-8p Sun 7a-8p It does get busy during the weekend so plan accordingly or be patient if you need to wait and Costco is busy! I come here every week. Depending on the time and day, the line can be crazy. There's only 12 stations here, lines can move fast or slow depending on the drivers out there. I wish they had someone streamlining the cars into rows because a lot of the delay is caused by poor drivers who don't fill in the rows and instead block the flow of the cars by stopping at the turn and staying there to scout which line is next. Which honestly isn't the most efficient way because it causes a backup in the line. It's hard not to give Costco gas less than 4 stars because they're usually lower than most other higher end gas stations. So 4 stars for I am a fan. This location has the Coleman entrance which gets busy and a side entrance. Drive past Costco and turn right down a side street and enter from that driveway alleyway. I exit out this way too and I find it less busy than exiting through Coleman. Lots of pumps at this location.
