Smoking inside permitted! :( Friendly server, fun decor. Dive bar feel. Kitchen took a while. Burgers seasoned, but dry. Fries were hand cut, but limp and greasy. Onion rings had a nice crunch and a were a little less greasy. We aren't smokers and that was bothersome to us, therefore we won't return.

This place is so rustic, I'm from south Florida I might just move here just for the food! It is fresh and delicious!

The food was so good, I might move here from south Florida, just so I can be a regular here! I'd give it more stars if I could!

Great food, cold beer, and atmosphere, and at times the best intimate venue live Texas music to be found !! Highly recommend !!

I personally thought this was a pretty good joint. This is a really cool local place in Rio. Great place to stop if you're between cleburne and a surrounding city. Awesome decor and a good vibe to the place. The food was tasty. I had the arts grilled cheese which was pretty standard but my niece had the chicken basket which was very good. Great fried chicken strips. The fries were more of the less cooked variety and I'm a crispy fry guy so they weren't my favorite but I know some people love "soggy" fries. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Great Burgers & Guacamole to die for. If you are lucky you will catch a game of washers or some local talent.

The dining room is separated from the bar area. It has 10' side walls and open, high ceilings. There's a couple of TVs in the dining room and a couple of ceiling fans. There's HVAC vents hanging down and there are 2 mini splits. It's nearly 100F outside and it's comfortable enough (not real cool) in here. Our server, Penelope, was quite pleasant. She was able to answer our food questions and give us recommendations. They use handheld order taking devices. I like that. I had a Shiner Boch to start and my wife had a Margarita rocks - no salt. Both drinks came out lightning fast. My beer was nice and cold and her margarita was real tasty and not too sweet. For dinner, I ordered the smaller order of Fried Catfish with a side. I had Tots. The fish filet was large, thin-battered, crispy and hot. The tots side was huge, crispy, hot and tasty. A great fried food meal. Took some of it home too. My wife ordered the Street Tacos. She was able to eat 2 of the 3 and she enjoyed them. Their homemade salsa was good and it had some heat to it. We brought her 3rd taco home. Pricing was fair. Service was great and fast. Good tasted great. We'll be back to the Break Room.

Extremely pricy for what you get. The ten inch are small with large crust, so basically mostly crust. The 14 inch was extremely thin and border line over cooked. It was supposed to be a hot honey pepperoni. The description said mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni and hot honey. The pizza had no ricotta and if it did have hot honey, I didn't taste it. Service was ok. The staff seemed very overwhelmed for the amount of people. They had maybe 5 occupied tables. One of my pet peeves of dining out is everyone getting their food at the same time. If you run a business that has personal pizzas as the majority item on the menu, you should be able to time them to all be finished at the same time so everyone eats together. Our pizzas were all brought out more than five minutes apart. The inside is nice and they have an arcade upstairs. We were going to check it out but the dining experience was so off putting we just decided to leave.

I had already had lunch, wasn't much hungry, just got a bowl of bean soup. My bud got an enchilada plate. The bean soup was hearty and flavorful. Bud enjoyed his enchilada plate, I tasted the verde sauce on the enchilada plate & it was tasty. Service was the best I've had at a restaurant in years. We were waited on by a grandmother-ly type lady. She treated us like her own, brought us fresh drinks without asking, refilled our chips, later refilled the green/avocado dipping sauce. Her service and timing was textbook perfect. She was kind, efficient, and hard-working. Enjoyed this restaurant start to finish. Will be coming back for sure.
