The receptionist Holly was extremely rude when I called to make an appointment as I was referred to their practice by a Round Rock dentist, I will mark sure my Dentist stops referring patients to Round Rock Periodontics. Holly should not be answering your phones with that type of Attitude and demeaning tone. UPDATE: Spoke with Holly this morning 8/16/2023 . My call was to reschedule my appointment because I have work meetings all day today. Holly started out being very helpful in finding another date. For at most 30 seconds reviewing my calendar, she said "hello" ONE TIME then disconnected the call. I called back and let her know that she did not have to hang up on me, and that was very rude of her to do so. I digressed , then circled back around to get the appointment rescheduled - she wanted to argue with me , go back and forth instead of just scheduling the appt and moving from there. I asked to speak with someone else, HOLLY GOT BACK ON THE PHONE and recommended I see another dentist b/c THEY'VE struggled with communication with me. IF YOU GUYS WEREN'T SO RUDE... YOU WOULDN'T GET THE SAME IN RETURN. I hope your customer service gets better because it is not up to par! Really a 0 star review but I had to at least select one. This is the FIRST time that I've even come to this place and the customer service the two women in the front office HAVE TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! When I initially called , one of the ladies , she sits in the back corner , she was rude, impatient, and a bit snarky as well when it came to me getting my insurance that I didn't not have on hand. From there , I hadn't heard anything from them at all , and when it came time for my appointment I drove across town all for them to tell me that my appointment was "deleted" because I didn't give them my insurance immediately. My normal experience -- is I can provide my insurance when I walk in and I had it. Ultimately it led to them saying they could not see me at all, of which was a WASTE OF TIME and INCONVENIENCE. When I let them know about their attitude , tone and demeanor the woman in the back corner actually with an abrasive attitude confirmed "you were talking to Me" This was a TERRIBLE first experience. And I'm afraid this dentist will lose my business because of. I'll find elsewhere to go where the people are friendly and willing to be patient and serve. If you cannot be patient and serve then you do not deserve to sit in the seat you all sit in. Be more professional or you lose business. Simple as that !!!! read more

I showed up at Dr Milman's door some quarter of a century ago with serious gum trouble. Thanks to excellent regular maintenance and a couple of minor surgeries, I still have all my teeth. The service, professionalism and friendliness are first class at this office. Dr Milman has hired excellent, dedicated hygienists, focused on thorough cleanings and long-term patient status. Two surgeries in 25 years indicates that Dr Milman does NOT push unnecessary, expensive procedures at his patients. The practice is now transitioning to Dr Arastu. I have had two visits with the latter and my first impressions are excellent. I'm definitely staying at Round Rock Periodontics, happily driving 25 miles for routine maintenance I can trust. read more

I find it unfortunate to establish this review because the doc here appears to provide excellent service. If only he was aware of what's going on at the front lines. First impressions can be very important and the way his front desk staff behaves regarding his patients leaves something to be desired. The blond female at the desk in particular, this morning was exceptionally disrespectful toward me. She was dismissive with my questions, and seemed terribly inconvenienced. I left the doctor's office this morning feeling concerned for the comfort and well-being of the patient I had to drop off there. Especially after they mentioned they would have to leave this patient alone in a chair following her procedure in order to proceed with their day, that she would be inconveniently occupying one of their treatment rooms, and that they had scheduled a lunch meeting during her office visit. I tried to stay hopeful that they would be taking better care of this patient than their staff took toward making us feel welcome. read more

About a year ago, I began seeing Dr. Millman and Heather R, a member of his staff. After some focused work, I am happy to say that my maintenance program continues now and I am in good health. More importantly, the professionalism and spirit of the entire staff, especially in the time of COVID, is EXTRAORDINARY! AND, Heather is one of the most consummate dental professionals I've ever had the pleasure to know. Heck, I showed up this week, on the wrong day, and she welcomed me in. How about that? I first saw Dr. Milman when I first moved to Texas a year ago. At my first visit, he suggested I have a total Scaling and Root Planing. I have had Periodontal disease for years and even went through several studies at a Dental School. No one I have ever seen has suggested such a procedure. In addition he wanted to charge me $2500! After I decided against the procedure I still went back for cleaning by the hygienist. The last time I went for a cleaning I waited 45 minutes for him to come in and check my mouth. He was rude and clearly unhappy that I wouldn't take his advice. I have since seen another dentist who suggested I have the above procedure on two teeth! The waiting room has many photos of him and his family vacationing all over the world. I believe he is only interested in making money! I would never recommend this Periodontist or this practice! read more

Dr Millman is personable and he has always taken the time to explain every procedure. I'll admit, after having significant oral surgery, and and three months ago an extraction and just today another 2 hour procedure for bone grafts, there has always been a lot less pain after the procedure than I would have expected. I have always been satisfied with the results. In fact, since going to Dr Millman, my gum health has improved significantly - and this is from someone who's been seeing a dentist twice a year since I was 10 years old His office staff is the friendliest - always smiling and helpful. I recently used Dr. Milman for crown-lengthening which was a procedure I had wanted to have done for several years. I had received several different quotes for the procedure and went to Dr. Milman as one last attempt to find someone that might work better for my budget. From the time I walked in the office I felt welcomed and everyone I came in contact with was so pleasant to deal with. Holly and Kendra were so helpful, and simply awesome to deal with! Dr. Milman was also amazing, because he paid very meticulous attention to what I wanted and even worked until he was completely satisfied with the work he had done, and wanted to make sure I was COMPLETELY satisfied before he was done.
