Cannot recommend this business strongly enough! We bought a house recently and thought we had the pool figured out completely. We have cleaned the filter, figured out the chemicals, and were on "cruise control." Over the last couple of weeks the pool had deteriorated to barely working. We called Justin and he made time that same afternoon to come out. He did some troubleshooting and had the issue pinpointed and fixed within minutes. He went the extra mile and found some additional issues that we hadn't considered and fixed them as well. He was extremely polite and professional. UPDATED Owner followed up after he checked my review and wanted me to revise or remove it so he offered me a free month of service due to the inconvenience. And of course all free 4 weekly visits were very poorly serviced. Walls and floors have never been brushed like they were stated in "completed tasks" service logs, sometimes didn't even empty the skimmer baskets, and basically the guy threw some Muriatic acid and and put few chlorine tabs and took him less than 10 minutes to "service my pool". Overall I give Justin 4 stars instead of 3 for trying but it wasnt really worth my time or money so I'm going to stick with servicing the pool myself. ORIGINAL Paid for the first month half deal and only received 3 weeks of service. Owner did not reply my emails after i told him that I wanted to cancel the service on the third week and ever since then theres were no follow ups or no confirmations on the cancellation and did not service the last week of the first month I paid all the way. read more

Still trying to find a pool company that lives up to what they say or advertise. However Round Rock Pool Pros has been the worst in actual performance. Don't get me wrong, they are responsive and talk a great game but actual performance is beyond pathetic. I've tried them for one month. First visit, cleaned pool and left pump basket trash all over the valve manifold. Second visit, did a DE filter refresh and replenish. Sprayed DE filter material all over the pump area including the stone patio, fence, and left a huge water hole where they let the filter backwash for quite some time (spraying the area with DE material) THEN LEFT IT FOR ME TO CLEAN UP (They did come back out and clean it before I had to and followed up to make sure it was done well. Third visit, stated they brushed the pool but my backyard camera showed differently, still has not checked the salt levels, and left the pool pump unprimed and running at 5psi when they left. Forth and final visit today, pool pump still unprimed at 7psi but at least this time they did not state they brushed the pool even thought they are contracted to do so and they did test the salt level and guess what, it was low. I have had phone and email conversations with BlakeH about this and he talks great but again the performance never lives up to the hype. BlakeH and another fellow (can't remember name but said he was local owner) came to my house after the DE filter mess to view it and flat out said to my face it would be done correctly in future visits. Well two more visits later it's not so I have ended this business relationship. Again, I want to stress they have always been courteous and polite when I have spoken with them. They do vacuum and skim the pool well (I have big trees with big leaves). They did not charge me for the DE filter clean because of the problems. Financially I don't feel taken advantage of with the exception they are not taking care of my pool as they are contracted to do so. It's the small things that make a difference and they just are not living up to it. I think a month of trying to work it out is fair and plenty. read more

We had purchased a house that was in complete disarray and it came with a pool that had not been cared for and used in years. This time of year is always super busy but Justin responded quickly, worked after hours and all weekend to find a replacement filter and install it. Upgraded filter medium and installed a new auto chlorinator. Work was completed within a couple of hours and for the price we agreed on. Top notch! My pump died suddenly (that's how it always goes, right?) so I called on a Friday and he helped me determine it was time to upgrade to a variable speed pump (running numbers, answering questions, etc.). He came out first thing on Monday and we were back up and running by the next day (turns out I have 110, not 220). Another company wasn't able to even come out until a week later and wanted to charge a service fee just for showing up- so glad I found Round Rock Pool Pros instead! read more

Just a quick note to say Thank You for all the excellent work done over the years. I'd like to  especially commend Anthony Mojica for his professionalism, timelessness, efficiency and outstanding quality of work. Anthony was clear and concise in communication,  took the time to listen, reviewing pictures of my pool issues well after 5pm  and was one step ahead when we were discussing options  ( for instance when installing the new booster pump, I suggested some kind of "quick disconnect"  to replace the existing rigid glued in joints - and he already had it planned and the parts in the quote). In the past summer I really appreciated Anthony working hours, on consecutive days, to quickly resolve two issues ( one being a pipe leak - which kept leaking even when all the valves were closed , and the other a booster pump replacement).  The quality of work was flawless - and most appreciated - especially given that  Anthony was working in an extremely mosquito laden environment ( where I'd had  countless mosquito bites  within 2 minutes of just looking at the work to be done) . Shaun was awesome! I've been cleaning my filter on my own for seven years. When the gasket for the filter was worn out, I was unable to get the system to seal. I respect the management of this company. We had a few issues and they worked hard to resolve them.

Consistently bad service. Tried them for an extended period, hoping they would get better. They consistently leave debris in skimmer baskets, do a poor job of vacuuming, forget to put pucks in floating baskets, and they leave pool equipment on the wrong settings, even after I WRITE ON THE PANEL with a big sharpie, telling them to make sure settings are restored from "service mode" to "automatic" before they leave. Even worse, my security cameras clearly show them failing to do work that they claim to have done. Justin seems like a nice enough guy, but I cannot recommend them. read more

I needed a fast response to a swimming pool problem. Current service said 3 weeks, others I found online said they could come within about 3 days and they would charge for a service call to give me an estimate. Justin said he could stop by the same day. He warned me that I probably needed a new motor. I got an estimate (no charge) the same day, and his tech came by the next day. Waited days for them to respond and then learned that they could not help me out with a leak in my underground plumbing (even though I told them the leak was underground when I called). I turned to yelp and found Round Rock Pool Pros and their 5 star reviews. I called and spoke to Justin and told him my problem. After shooting him a couple of pictures by text, he was able to quote me a price and had me on his schedule less than 48 hrs later. Garrett, his Service Manager responded to my house and quickly took care of the problem. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. Took care to do the job right and made sure that there were no problems before he left. There is a reason this company has so many great reviews. It is obvious that they want to take care of their customers and take pride in their work. Once more, Yelp has pointed me to a great local business.
