I've liked Round Table Pizza for years. I've enjoyed coming to the Bellingham location because it was pleasant, good food, good salad bar, and easy to get in and out. Now, they've expanded and remodeled and while I'm sure it's great for business, the dining experience has deteriorated significantly. Lots of flat surfaces to reflect and amplify the noise of screaming kids. Lots of tables in the middle of walkways making it difficult to get around. Trash all over. The bathrooms were filthy because I'm sure there are so many people they just can't keep up by cleaning it once/day. I still like the food.... but next time I will have to order to go and eat it in the car. read more

This was my first time at Round Table. It was the perfect stop to satisfy our hunger from snowboarding at Mt. Baker (right off I5) Fresh. HOT. Crispy...and piled with Toppings! Their pizza was surprisingly good. In fact, all their combos sounded delicious. The things that set it apart from its pizza hut counterparts is their thin and crispy crust and they don't over sauce the pizza...and the best part is tons of toppings! Prices are reasonable, and if you bring a competitor's coupon you can get a couple bucks off your pizza. Total came out to $30 for 3 people, with some to take home, for drinks and a large. Let me start off by saying I run a restaurant. I understand when the kitchen gets backed up. I didn't like waiting an additional 30 minutes past my quoted online time, but it was easy to tell the kitchen and manager up front were pushing themselves as fast as they could. The pizza we had was hot, delicious, and exactly as we ordered. Pro tip: if you decide to get a gourmet pizza, ask for extra cheese on top--they love to layer the toppings and they tend to fall off while eating. read more

Last time I order from this place. This is literally the third time they have messed up my order and did nothing but offer me a three dollar coupon. You order online so it's pretty much in black-and-white and yet they cannot make the pizza properly. Have always liked Round Table Pizza but this location is getting worse and worse. I have eaten at Round Table in Hawaii on several occasions. When I found out there was one in Bellingham, I made a point to visit this location and was not disappointed in the food or the service. Round table in Bellingham operates in a cafeteria style setting (almost). You walk in and order at the counter and seat yourself. The staff is friendly and the pizza is hot and delivered to your table. The self serve salad bar is well stocked and we particularly enjoyed the taste of the caesar and french salad dressing. Try out the new Parmesano pizzas! They are new and quite tasty. This is some of the best restaurant pizza anywhere and very affordable as well. read more

Very good pizza! Though I regret my decision to not have classic tomato sauce, the garlic sauce was alright and the crust was to die for! The service felt slightly slow, though we did come in with 8 people, so I'm letting that one go. We had a slightly complicated order as well, and ended up with one more pizza than we ordered. It did show up on the receipt, so it was possible we made a mistake, but they really put the customer first and refunded our money, leaving the pizza with us. The salad bar didn't look overly fantastic. You obviously don't go to a pizza place for the salad, but I would've enjoyed a slightly better selection. I am currently eating our day old chicken-jalapeno-pineapple pizza. The BEST day old pizza in town! I love their crust! Just a tip, if you like lots of jalapenos get a salad bar with your pizza and you can add as many as your heart desires! I ordered the endless salad bar ($5.50) about 45 until closing. Great price for what you get! The plates are a little small for me, but it's unlimited so whatever. There's an iceberg mix and spinach to choose from. Lots of salad extras to choose from, including goldfish crackers and sunflower seeds. When I went for my third plate they were already cleaning up after a long day and were putting lids on everything. I was very sad I didn't get any chocolate pudding... Then Joel came to the rescue! He definitely went above and beyond any customer service one expects from a pizza joint. I had my 4 month old in one arm so Joel stopped everything he was doing to grab some gloves, a to-go box, and put a salad together for me! It was so nice of him to go out of his way to provide such great service for us. He should get a raise and/or employee of the month. And I got my chocolate pudding. read more

I am really super picky about pizza, but I do like theirs. Always cooked to perfection. Other stuff I have tried (like the wings) has not been as good but the pizza they definitely do right. Nice selection of beer on tap and good lunch specials that are great values. The salad bar is about standard fare but always well stocked and that's a plus. We came in very hungry and the cashier handled our confused mess with grace. 2 small pizzas, one medium, 4 drinks, and a salad bar came out to $70. Which the gourmet ingredients are most likely worth it. We're not just talking pepperoni here. The food was delicious minus one slice of my bbq chicken that had a MASSIVE salt pocket in it. (I work in food service, I know things happen, didn't stop me from munching my second slice!) The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The kids had a blast in the game room. Here is why I chose 3 stars. As soon as we walked in the door, the first thing my daughter laid eyes on was the jukebox. we dropped over $10 on that thing. within seconds of our first song coming on, and my daughter squealing with delight, the bartender walked over to the sound system and turned down the music. It was low enough I couldn't even tell if the songs playing were the selections we chose! I am sure that service staff is trained well enough that they should know if a person is paying for a service, (ie, a jukebox) they should get to ENJOY that service. Then the experience was soured even further as my husband was upset that we wasted the money, and felt that we didn't have a right to ask the bartender to turn it back up. I love the food, and I would probably come back again, but I definitely won't waste my money on the jukebox! read more

We have been Round Table customers for 40+ years. It's always been my very favorite. I called for delivery and was told that we should a two and a half hour wait time. Most other places are 30 minutes, tops. I was friendly and said that I am willing to wait, but I asked for a little bit of a discount because of the length of time (we wouldn't be eating until 8:30pm at that point, and that's if they were actually on time)... The manager was SO RUDE and, not only did he refuse my request, he shamed me for even asking. We will not be ordering from this Round Table again. read more

Hungover on the way to a cabin in the shadow of Mt. Baker, we popped in here while waiting for the other dude-car to arrive at the nearby Costcutter grocery, for provisions. Ducked in here for some stomach medicine---Round Table proved more than adequate, despite being completely empty at 2:30pm. A thin, but pliant crust with some chew & char---who knew! I will admit it, I'm a pizza snob. I grew up in NY and have a strong opinion about what a pizza should be. The pizza at round table was not that pizza. My husband & I just moved to Bellingham and we were surrounded by boxes and in need of sustenance so of course we chose to go the pizza route. Round table has a great website that made it super easy to order online. We ordered a Cesar salad, a large thin crust light cheese and a large regular crust with mushroom, pepper and Roma tomatoes. The salad was fine, the cheese pizza was over cooked, and the topping pizza was undercooked. The toppings were good and really helped save the pizza. But really what killed the pizza for me was the sauce. It had more flavor than I'd like- which is to say a good pizza should have a very light fresh tomato sauce not one heavy on the spices. Definitely not a place we'll order from again, particularly for the cost. Time to keep looking for a good delivery pizza place... read more

Its very hit and miss, sometimes it looks fresh and is well stocked and other times the stoners that work there will walk by it several times and not notice that things need to be replenished. First off, this is the best pizza in town and they have a fantastic selection of on-tap beers (when the governor allows the place to be open that is). Now why not a 5 out of 5 rating? The food is expensive. Like super expensive. I get that they use "fresh" ingredients and such but it shouldn't cost near $30 for a large pepperoni pizza, right? The service, since Evan left, is less than stellar. They have some weird cut-off time for serving beer, we're not talking 2am we're talking like 9:30 or something, and if you try to order right at 9:30 (because you were waiting in line) they won't sell it to you. This is not a law or anything...this is their corporate policy or something. I for years have gone next door to order something for takeout and then went to RT for a beer while my order was being prepped and RT said no to my 9:30pm beer order and then the guy at the register was pretty smug/rude about it. I have spent $$$ over the years there but I've decided to skip them. Their corporate folks reached out to me and pretty much said "oh no, too bad." Well...they have been on borrowed time for years, and despite the excellent pizza, they should not have survived the pandemic closures. There are better local options. Good luck. read more

I haven't been to Round Table in years but I went yesterday around 7pm and everything was dirty. All of the windows had fingerprints on them, some had lipstick prints, the napkin holders had old food stuck on them and I sat at a dirty table because none of hem were clean. I got some ice tea and it was warm. The employees were nice but the restaurant was understaffed so it was hard to get anyone's attention. I'm definitely not going back. read more

I popped in there about a month ago right before they closed. The website advertised a pizza for half of what it costed when I got to the store. Round Table Pizza is the best pizza in all of Washington and possibly the Northwest. Absolutely beyond anything available in Bellingham. The taste is absolutely delicious with the special cheese blend on everyone. The only comparable pizza is a pipeline era Greek chef in Alaska which was, up to then, the best one I had ever eaten. Round Table is now on a par. Eating pizza anywhere else is a waste of money. read more

I rate the pizza 4 stars and the service 1 I consider Round Table the best large chain pizza and decided to eat there tonight and try the $7.99 value meal that included a personal size pizza, all you can eat salad, mozzarella sticks and cinnamon sticks. It's a good deal, even after adding $2 for a soda. I've never had problems with the service until tonight. After eating my salad I noticed the guys that ordered after me in line got their mozzarella sticks and pizza. I thought no big deal since mine was the supreme it probably takes an extra minute or two. Then I noticed the people after they were served got their pizza. Then the 3rd table that ordered after me got their pizza. Now I new something was amiss. I flagged down one of the employees and told them I had been waiting awhile and asked if they could check on my pizza. She came back and said it will be a couple minutes and I'll get your mozzarella sticks (which she did). About 7 minutes later I got my pizza and I realized they LOST MY ORDER. When the employee brought the pizza she placed it on the table and began to walk away when I asked what happened because three other tables who ordered after me got their pizza 10 minutes before I got mine, waiting to see how Round Table was going to make it right. All I got was a begrudging "sorry about that." Maybe I'm old fashioned or expecting too much but normally if a restaurant LOSES or FORGETS your order they comp you something to make it right. I wasn't expecting a free dinner but I thought maybe they would give me a coupon for a salad or drink next visit. Nope. Zip. Nada. On top of that, I had to go to the counter to ask for the cinnamon twists. As much as I like Round Table pizza, and it is good, I have to rethink if I'm going to go back when the service was so poor. read more

I had been to and ordered delivery from here many times with no issue. But today, my order was 35 minutes late and when I called to check on it, the staff chided me for believing the delivery time estimate online. She said I should call if I want to know the real time. I said, well not calling is the whole point of ordering online and it hasn't been an issue before. She told me that, well, I must have gotten lucky before. She kept going on about me being unrealistic about delivery time until I cut her off. Then, when the delivery driver showed up, he went to the wrong door. When they told him he was at the wrong door, he knocked on my window, waking the neighbor baby and startling me. Our family has dined here before - typically after a family member's sporting event. Tonight we did the same. When we got to the restaurant this time (mind you it's been a year since we've visited our family here) we noticed that everyone working in the restaurant either had long hair or a long beard - none of the staff were "clean cut". This wouldn't be a problem for me had the folks in the kitchen chose to wear hair nets - but none of them do. BIG TURN OFF from a dining perspective. We went to a large dining room to find a gentleman in the corner who was on his laptop. He was very kind and told us he was heading out for the night after sitting there ALL AFTERNOON soaking up the free Internets that the place had to offer. No biggie but certainly an indicator that the staff could care less about their posted 1 hour Internet policy. After I noticed that, I began to notice other things that I didn't care for, dirty floors - both in the kitchen AND the dining areas; very dirty bathroom (as in some sections of floor haven't been scrubbed this year); the soda machine was also very "gunked up" and needed a good cleaning. All of this was noticed while having a meal with my large family (about 20 of us there). I must say - the food was tasty. It was well prepared and came out to the table very hot! (A good thing!). The salad bar albeit messy was "clean enough" and fresh. There was plenty of variety in the salad bar and the plates and silverware were clean and dry. The beer was good and my glass was clean (at least on the outside so I'm figuring the inside was too). I was pleased with the food and the fun conversation with my family but turned off enough by the physical appearance of the restaurant and the staff enough to write this review. I'd probably influence the family to visit another restaurant the next time we do this again. read more
