While on vacation in Bellingham (July 2026) we stopped in for a pepperoni pizza, a brew, and a cider. We were very happy with the pizza.....very flavorful. The crust, cheese, sauce, herbs, garlic and pepperoni were all exactly what we were hoping for. Frankly, better than 90% of the pizza places we've eaten at. Drinks were good too. We were going to skip dessert, but they served us a complimentary chocolate chip cookie, oven baked, along with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream (since we were first timers). Wow! It was delicious! A lot of restaurants serve a giant warm chocolate chip cookie, but.....not as good as this one. Maybe the best chocolate chip cookie we've ever had. Twice as many chocolate chips as most and the cookie didn't taste of cheap shortening or excess sugar like most do. I would eat here just for this dessert! Ice cream was great too. Place was busy on a Tuesday night. We had to wait about 20 minutes, which we figured was probably a good sign. We walked around Fairhaven while we waited and enjoyed the phenomenal weather. Once we were seated, service was fast and friendly We'll definitely be returning to Bellingham to escape the Vegas heat and when we do we'll be eating here at Ovn for sure. read more

Always a fantastic place to go grab a pizza. They do something different... They use and have pretty much perfected the sourdough crust. It gives a fantastic 'chew' factor when you are enjoying your pizza. It might be a little bit different than what you were used to, but definitely worth trying. I hope you like it! The ambience could be better, it is sitting on the ocean and for some reason, my guess is due to restrictions, the design is backwards... the kitchen staff get to enjoy the view of the ocean, while the Patrons get a view of a white boring wall lol. We got lunch from here, an 8" pizza and some sprouts (not pictured). The Brussel sprouts were delicious, soft with crispy edges and very well seasoned, with bacon; a good portion for two people. The pizza had great flavors but lacked much sauce, so it felt more like eating a circular flatbread. The pork, which was the most exciting topping, tasted phenomenal but was just slightly not tender enough for my tastes (partner didn't feel the same). Best artisinal pizza in Bellingham! Love the ambiance, but we have only ever gotten takeout, so I can't speak to the in house service. I will say the host/ess has always been super warm and welcoming when I pick up takeout. The pizza flavors are amazing, interesting and well balanced. I always get the bbq chicken with bacon and it never disappoints. We have also gotten the k-pop (jerk chicken), which wasn't our cup of tea but it was definitely delicious. The crust is good, medium thickness. There are two of us and we get two pizzas (12 inch), which typically lasts us two days. We have not tried deserts, but thats on the menu for us soon. read more

As a "late adopter" to Övn, I've yet to try every pizza and salad on the menu. I'm enjoying the process and exploration. I do like their lunch specials and that you can get a half salad and that it's a decent portion. My pizzeria test is whether or not they can make a good Margherita. It's a simple pizza that's all about few ingredients and lots of quality. Övn does a good Margherita. Not a big fan of pizzas that try to incorporate everything under the sink. Or pizzas that try to be too hip or too out da box ingredient wise. They have some blends that def aren't my jam but I can find simplicity and flavor on the menu and other folks seem to love the more speciality blends. The water-oriented view and location with indoor and outdoor seating are primo. Parking is ample, though you may have to walk a block or two in the Summer and pay for parking. Always had a friendly fine experience. And the restaurant support local nonprofits, which is a HUGE bonus in my book. read more

Me & some friends came here after a long day of hiking. Cute little corner pizza place, they have a great cocktail selection but not so much on beer. I had the flora which had champagne in it, and was very light & fruity. Their apps are good. I had the brussel sprouts which were very yummy. My friend ordered the potato wedges, they were also pretty good, especially with the vegan aioli. Vegan food wise they have quite a few options which was nice for my vegan friends. For dinner I had the Sebba pizza. It's a pizza with arugula, balsamic, figs, prosciutto, mozerella & usually blue cheese but I opted for goat cheese instead. It took a while for all of the pizza to come out but it ended up being really good. I would recommend this place to anyone who is up in Bellingham and wants some good pizza! read more

Stumbled upon this place during a little weekend getaway in Bellingham and absolutely fell in love!! We went during lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all - we were the first customers there and got our pick in seating. I ordered a Matterhorn with mushrooms instead of caramelized onions, and I loved every bite. The rosemary/potato combo was god tier, and the crust was perfectly chewy, with just the right amount of flaky. Our waiter also gave us some ranch and chili oil for dipping, and both were really good! I'm not usually a big ranch person (controversial, I know), but this one tasted like it had harissa or something in it, which set it apart from other ranches I've had in the past and I really really enjoyed it. My boyfriend ordered a custom pizza and added vegan pepperoni on top. He said he really enjoyed it, and the vegan pepperoni was a nice texture! I loved how vegetarian/vegan friendly this place was, as they had a bunch of different vegetarian topping options. Also, pro tip: they offer a free dessert if it's your first time visiting! We got the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream really helped cut through the richness of the cookie, and I appreciated how they warmed up the cookie in the oven too, so the contrast between the flavors was amazing. Once seated our server Zach/Jack or Jake (we can't remember), went above and beyond. Ovn produces fine and very interesting pizzas in downtown Fairhaven. I reserve 5 stars for perfection, and these guys make the grade. Although they have a few "ordinary" pizzas to the classic formulas, most of their offerings are different. Toppings like arugula, figs, honey, and balsamic glaze (as well as interesting charcuterie) make these offerings something special. This is a thin, crispy crust pizza with nice char and cheese to the crust. I've stopped here several times as they are close to home and they have never disappointed. In addition to their signature pizza, they also offer sandwiches at lunch and several tasty Mediterranean appetizers.
