This was a great find in Bellingham. I have to give to Bellingham for some amazing restuarant and eating spot. The Pizza we tried was delicious and well made. I had the cocktail A Monk's Dream which was okayish. Maybe I will try something else next time. But for Italian flavour I recommend this place.

For a small town Bellingham has some amazing food and Storia is one of the best I've had. Even compared to Italian restaurants in the Bay Area Storia is solid. Ambiance great. Service super friendly and give great honest recommendations. Pizza pasta clams and cocktails were all amazing. Only thing that was eh was the chocolate panna cotta. Could have done without that. But def will be back at Storia next time in town.

We had a great dinner here with our daughter and her friend. We sat outside under the covered seating area by the street, which gave us a nice view of the theater lights and the bustle of shoppers and cars going by. It had a fun, lively atmosphere without being too loud. The hostess and waitress were both warm and friendly, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. The food was excellent. I had the cacio e pepe, which was rich and flavorful. We shared the roasted cauliflower with Calabrian chilis, garlic, capers, and parsley. Even my daughter's friend, who said she normally dislikes cauliflower, enjoyed it. She also ordered the ale Caesar salad and was happy with it. My daughter tried the lumache pomodoro with ricotta and parmesan and really liked it. My husband had the pappardelle bolognese made with local beef and pork, and he enjoyed every bite. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, a lemon sorbetto, and the chocolate panna cotta with salted caramel and cardamom whipped cream. Each one was delicious, but the panna cotta was especially memorable. Overall, the food was so good and the whole experience was enjoyable. We look forward to coming back.

Celebrated my birthday here and it was awesome. I had the Pasta Bolognese which was delightful. The server suggested fresh mozzarella ball on the side and I was glad to have that. I also ordered a green side salad to go with and would also recommend that. The Italian dressing was delicious and unique. Don't forget to aak for bread, it was also very good. For desert, worth the wait, I ordered the bread pudding. Probably the best I've ever had with the fresh cream and salted caramel sauce. I would have no hesitation visiting for drinks and desert :) There is a bit of a wait for food but it is quality!

Amazing friendly service. Very cute and welcoming interior design. The sourdough starter is from 1971!!! Hence we had to try their pizza! Pasta was nice and al dente!

Came here with my wife on our trip. Her meatball appetizer was good. We decided on some pizzas. I chose the pepperoni. There were soooo many little pepperoni, but they were soooo good, haha. Service was quick and our server was friendly. Storia has a great atmosphere.

if you're visiting Bellingham this is the place to go get dinner. Elevated pizza and pasta using sourdough- it's light but filling chef made food you can taste the quality. Absolutely delicious. For dessert- Bread pudding takes 25 minutes to make so order it with food it's worth the wait and some of the best dessert I've had. Parking- street parking Price- around 25$ a person very reasonable for what you're getting and the ambiance. Will be coming again next time we visit Bellingham!

Great experience! Our server was very attentive. She took the time to explain the current specials. I went with the meatballs as an appetizer and they were so flavorful. For my entree with a margarita pizza and it was probably the best margarita pizza that I ever had! So flavorful and not greasy. Great place that I highly recommend!

This' place is quite a find. Just passing through Bellingham on our way home we decided on a whim to grab some Italian food and found this gem. We arrived around 5:15pm and luckily was able to snag the two top without any way and gad we did because the rush started piling up behind us after being seated. Onto the food. 1) Kale Caesar salad. This was decent. Note, it is not all kale, but is a mix of kale and romaine due to customer comments. The only thing I didn't like was the soggy croutons which even my 9 year old did not kid tax. 2) Meatballs. This was really good. Soft, pillowy, saucy. It was served with a nice piece of focaccia to soak up the gravy. This was definitely a hit. 3) Pomodoro. This was pretty good. Had a good clean flavor and liked the dab of ricotta. Just felt like it was missing something. Perhaps season the ricotta? 4) Cacio e Pepe - this is one of my all time favorites and this certainly delivered. A nice soft and chewy pasta with a good amount of cracked pepper and cheese. What is there not to like?! This is one of those places I definitely starred on my list of places to return when passing by. If you are in Bellingham and reading this, you should definitely stop in this place and enjoy a fantastic meal.

We came as a group of 2 + baby. The interior has high ceilings and a moody urban vibe. The server was efficient when taking our order and delivering the food. The pizza came out quickly. We really enjoyed the meat pizza, which had pepperoni and sausage toppings, as well as sun-dried tomatoes. We liked the texture and material of the crust too. However the margarita pizza was not that great. The crust was too difficult to chew, and some of the slices had barely any cheese - you could see the tomato paste & crust as there wasn't much cheese on those parts. The appetizer we ordered were fried risotto balls filled with cheese - it was an interesting twist. We also got another pasta topped with ricotta cheese and asked pancetta to be added to it. The ricotta was so fresh and the quality was really nice. All in all, a decent date night spot although the flavors are kind of mild save for the meat pizza.

We dined here to celebrate my birthday on a chilly Wednesday night ~6:30pm. We were able to walk in and got a seat right away. We started with drinks; I got an amaretto sour and he got their Portofino. For appetizers, we shared the marinated artichoke hearts and the meatballs. The artichoke hearts were tangy, fresh and light. The meatballs came with a wonderful sauce and great flavor. For our mains, we both enjoyed a seasonal offering. Service was appropriately attentive, ambiance was lovely and the night ended with a delicious tiramisu.

We were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary with our family and found this authentic Italian restaurant. We ordered pizza and pasta and experience real Italian cooking the bread and almost everything are cooked from scratch. The restaurant ambience is amazing and classy with a high ceiling and a bar. It has outdoor sitting perfect for the weather. I ordered the squid pasta, and my wife ordered the risotto. They are to die for. Your pizza is made from sourdough bread. You can eat everything. Service was good in our server is Zucha who did amazingly a good job. If you are in Bellingham, you need to see this place .

It's been a long time since I've seen one this creative and extensive. If I wasn't worried about falling over, I probably would have ordered one of everything . I had the Song of the Siren, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tart without being too sweet. I especially loved the hint of white balsamic vinegar. It was surprisingly strong though, so one was plenty! My husband had Le Tigre, which had guava, passionfruit, pineapple, lime and Thai chili tincture. It had just a touch of spice and a really interesting combination of flavors. We both loved our drinks. For food, we started with the ribs and then ordered the pork belly bao buns and the hot noodle dish. The ribs were cooked really well and had a wonderful crispy/fried texture, but they were very lightly seasoned. If you really want to taste the meat, you'll probably love them. For us, they could have used a little something extra. A couple of fun dipping sauces, maybe something like a honey gochujang, would have made them amazing. Our waitress, who was extremely friendly, told us the hot noodles are one of their favorites. They weren't quite for us. There was definitely lots of flavor, but the sauce was pretty rich and dense and the dish had a good amount of spice. We each had about a bite and ended up packing the rest to take home. It sounds like it's a popular dish though, so I think this one is probably just personal preference. The absolute highlight was the pork belly bao buns. I was a little worried pork belly might mean a lot of heavy fat, but these were much more meat-forward, with the perfect crispness around the outside. The flavors were phenomenal and the bao itself was perfectly cooked. Definitely order these! Overall, really good food, wonderful service and one of the most interesting cocktail menus I've seen in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

Each used n/a spirits (n/a mezcal in the latter) and a symphony of sophisticated ingredients, which wish I tell you what. Each had a speared dried citrus slice and a luscious ginger bite (or something!) a top. The first had included honey, but it wasn't sweet--just complexified with a little snap to it that the honey smoothed; the second was a little sweeter in tone, including a bit of huckleberry along with the mezcal. (Connor might recall them by my play name for them. Inspired by a book in my hand on collecting meteorites, I nicknamed the first the "Extraterrestrial Visitor" and the second the "Heavenly Visitor.") They were so delicious I suggested he put them on the menu. If he does or doesn't, no matter. Just ask him if he has time to get creative for you. He'll ask you flavor tone preferences, or you can just go for whatever he wants to make, like I did. Again, he is excellent. I enjoyed my lovely drinks with a Caesar salad (another OMG!) which included crispy bacon bits and loads of tiny shreds of a delicious white cheese along with a creamy dressing. It was scrumptious as was the very lovely charcuterie plate. Pistachios, green apple slices, fat outstanding Castelvetrano olives (caution: with pits), a luscious pepper jelly that went beautifully dipped into with their choice of excellent crackers, delicately flavored salami and a prosciutto so elegantly-flavored it could make you weep. And it was lovely enjoying it all on their "porch" on a sunny day.

For those who are looking for a date spot with unbeatable ambiance and gourmet cuisine, The Elk Street Tavern should be your next date night destination. As soon as we sat down at their beautiful bar, the waitress and bartender were both very attentive and friendly. We both ordered cocktails off their seasonal cocktail menu. I had the East of Eden which was smooth and refreshing, but its flavor did not overpower that subtle bite of the gin. My wife ordered the Dream Girl. The combination of banana, raspberry and coconut tied together with smooth rum was so good we could have ordered several more. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The Elk Street Burger was first up. Elegantly simple with just bacon, cheese and heap of pickles with a medium rare all beef patty in-between a soft sesame seed bun. I do wish that the burger came with a toothpick through the center to keep everything together. The taste and texture of this burger was fantastic, but the real star of this dish was the frites. These jojo style potatoes had a fried crust with a crunchy texture that was almost indescribable. They also came with Elk Street's house sauce that is a mixture of mayo, mustard and bbq that gave my food a tangy kick of flavor that I will not soon forget! I would also recommend asking for their house made garlic chive sauce. It is so good! My wife's Prawn Roll was fresh and light. Chunks of prawn mixed with lemon aioli, celery, and chives stuffed in-between a toasted brioche bun. A great choice for anyone who is a fan of lobster rolls and is looking for a lighter dish bursting with flavor. Lemon wedges to garnish and a small bowl of potato chips on the side, this dish was a ten out of ten. Elk Street Tavern has a great vibe for a dinner date, or if you are just looking to sip on great cocktail at a classy bar. I will definitely be coming back again.
