I live in DB and have gotten pizza from here many times over the years. Its hit and miss. I never had problems with the delivery service and when I order for pick up Its usually ready in the time frame they give. The hit n miss part is sometimes the pizza is not cooked very well. The cheese is not melted all the way and crust is doughy. I usually stay away for a few months when that happens. read more

Usually I stay away from round tables in general I have had several horrible experiences. However, this particular round table has yet to disappoint when we order from them. The staff esp the manager and Ms. Kim are always extremely polite and courteous whether on the phone or ordering in. I went to this place to taste their salad bar at lunch time. It was busy and there was only one person working Setanya. She has a vibrant and outstanding customer service. Salad bar and pizza were great. I guess, if you greeted with amazing employee like Setanya, to eat here is very satisfying. I give two stars because even when they totally mess up your order it's still Round Table Pizza- which is good but frustrating as heck when they can't execute the way it was ordered. Buffalo wings hot, delivered plain with no sauce. Pizza was hot but not the way it was ordered. Who wants to send it back when the delivery times really are that ridiculously long.... never spend your money her or your time i used to work for roundtable in oakley. we were 10 times busier than these guys and it took 2 hours for my pizza to be delivered 3 miles down the street. the customer service was crappy the manager and the supervisor we both completely rude. if i wasn't crippled i would shove my pizza up their asses. first i order and asked for my 15% discount that i usually get and the said i have to show my coupon so, they get here and tell me i have to pay more because i lost my paper coupon. wtf second the manger, setany and her second in position in charge kim are completely unqualified for their positions. kim hung up in my face and and try to talk to me like i toddler so i had a few choice words for her. third my pizza was soggy and cold and the refused to refund my money im true feel sorry for them they can go to hell read more

Ordered online and was told to pick it up at !2:15 got there at 12:15 pizza was never made. Then I sat there for an additional 50 minutes before I got the pizzas. She was rude when I said that I had waited 50 minutes. Didn't do anything about it. I will never recommend this Round Table to anyone. I have lived in Discovery Bay for 24 years and I will make sure I tell people not to go there. Update: The manager called and refunded my money for the pizzas. The food is fine and staff is friend but they are very slow to get your pizza out. I've been here a couple of times. No complaints on the quality of food or staff, only speed. Plan on waiting at least 15 plus minutes pass what your pickup time is. read more

I feel the quality of food and service is declining rapidly at this location. I gave three stars only due to the cleanliness of restaurant and the salad bar usually fresh and stocked. But beware of lunch salad bar as they say its all you can eat, but seem to only have one pizza out at a time. Sometimes you are sitting waiting for something or anything to come out of the oven. I've never been to a pizza lunch buffet where you typically have to ask them to make some pizza! And somehow I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them. I'm hoping they step it up a bit. read more

Just called and got a girl on the phone with no personality. We've had awful pizza from here delivered but last time the manager was there and said she would make sure it was right and got here without driving around with it for 45 minutes. It was great. I asked the girl who answered the phone if she could make sure like the manager did last time and she said " no" she couldn't because there might be a couple people that need to get dropped off first. Let me tell you about this place, if you want to waste 1 hour of your life order for pickup because they will tell you 20 minutes and the pizza isn't even in the oven yet... if you want to spend 2 hours dying of starvation then order delivery. Round table pizza is good, this is not the issue. My issue with this one in particular is the fact that every time we call we are put on hold. Sometimes to the point where we have to hang up and call again. Delivery: SHOULD NOT TAKE AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES!!! When you live 2 minutes away. Nor should it take this long when you order on a WEEKDAY. The pizza is luke warm, which tells me they make them and put them under a heat lamp until they get enough delivery calls to actually leave the restaurant. A couple times they have mess up or forget part of the order. If they want to compete with Aladino's they should at least have way better customer service. Worst buffet ever with regard to food availability. It's supposed to be a pizza buffet. There is literally one pizza on the buffet table. It's noon. Lunch hour. We asked about our order an hour and 45 mins after we placed it today and they said it was "just coming out of the oven". They then also had no estimate of how long until we would get our order and said they would give us a free coke. I don't know why we've tried ordering from them again. It's a round table so as such their pizza is ok. But the thing that I hate about this place is the price. The pizza here is crazy expensive. I ordered a small I don't recall the exact price but I believe it was around $10 just for that. To me that is expensive. Also I have had better round table than this location. I was told when I called a 1 hour wait for my pizza delivery. I then called after a two hour wait and they said it was on its way. When the pizza arrived it was cold and didn't taste fresh as if it had been sitting for a while. This Round Table Pizza is horrible. I love Round Table and live in Discovery Bay, I was so excited when I found out Round Table Pizza was coming to Disco. Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed in this one. The service and pizza quality is horrible!! Yet I love Round Table so much and its only 2 minutes away i gave it chance after chance and its horrible every single time. Last time was it for me, from now on I go all the way to Brentwood to get Round Table, the same one I was going to before Round Table opened in Discovery Bay. Soooo bummed that our new pizza parlor has the same minimal and rude DB customer service! Hope it improves! My first visit, order a glass of wine, there is no wine, ok. The front counter girl says "I will refund you for the wine and give you a beer for free. Then she didn't, when I asked her about the refund, after getting a beer, She says "I gave you the beer for free"! the beer is 2.69 and the wine is 2.99, not seeing that being free. This actually made sense to the snotty toned girl at the counter. Of course, she may have been distracted by her loud mouth co worker, Emily, who happily had a conversation with her "outside voice" with the lady behind me, directly into mine and the "snotty counter girls" ears, as I tried to place my order. Even after asking her "excuse me", she continued to discuss who was coming in to see her with the lady behind me! . We are going to need some very basic "elementary School" manners at our round table. Please, basic math, 2,99 less 2.69 does not equal zero. And use your inside voices, be considerate of others standing next to you. Unbelievable this place!!! My review has to do with the customer service that I was given. Brought my parents and my service animal to the parlor. My service animal is a small dog, fits in a little bag and can sit on the seat in his bag and will not bother anybody. The manager, came up to me after we finished our meal, and went absolutely crazy!! Saying I could not have my service animal in the restaurant, what??? My service animal goes to every restaurant, this is the only one, I have been hassled at. She broke laws asking for his papers(which I had and showed) then proceeded to announce to everybody in the restaurant my disability because my papers showed it. Before leaving I asked her to take down my number and have the owner call me so that we could figure this out, more that I would like for them to be informed for the future of service animal rights, but I have no returned phone call from the owner.
