    Expired drink

The food was great I'm giving this place one star because they gave me a 2 month expired drink. And if they couldn't even replace an expired drink. I'm scared to think where they lack on other things for the ingredients and if those things are expired too.

Definitely will not be coming here until they fix this shit, the service is ridiculously terrible we ordered pizza today at 5:11 they told us pizzas would be ready in 25 minutes we showed up 30 minutes later and pizzas were still not ready we were being told 10 minutes more 4 time we waited for over 1 hour and pizzas were not ready, we saw employees get into it and walk out of business terrible work ethics on top of service So sad!

Large slice of King Arthur pizza cook extra and still hot and fresh.

Been eating at round table for more than 30 year I can seem to find any good round table pizza in Kings county. Why is the pizza sagging? I never had round table pizza like this what the deal

We came here for our anniversary to enjoy a couple of beers and a pizza. The person who helped us, Amber, was helpful and friendly! Our food was out quickly and was hot and fresh Everything was clean and the music was enjoyable. The only reason we gave it 4/5 is for the price. We ordered: 1 small pizza, 2 tall beers & 3pc twists for around $40. This place was great, we will be coming here again!

Both pizzas def. Not a half king aurthur half pepperoni

Good Grief !! Where do I start?! At the beginning, Jim…read more.. OK, so I'm in Hanford, California doing a favor for a friend after a long day working in Los Angeles then driving 3 hours! My options??? Grabbing some snacks at the hotel or taking the spectacular advice of April and Naesha at the front desk of the Fairfield Marriott, my hotel for the night. They also said that the Steak Bites were fantastic. After a quick shower, I took the 5 minute ride to the restaurant. Independent building, fairly nondescript but classy enough. Easy access with plenty of parking. You enter in to a dark, classy Italian restaurant. A large , open dining room straight ahead, and a small (but really cute) bar to the left. I chose eating at the bar, and I'm happy I did. Raquel, the Bartender took care of me with humor, seriousness, smiles, and incredible recommendations. Ordered a nice Zin and started perusing the menu. The nightly "specials" menu looked great, but the regular menu nailed me. Before I could even begin to make decisions, their bread arrived at the table with a small bowl of marinara sauce. Maybe the best I've had... EVER! Raquel was literally describing the recipe after I raved. Should have asked for a copy! Guess I knew then that I was about to be thrilled! I ordered some of the steak bites for the ladies at the hotel, then proceeded, knowing I was about to overeat AND take a feast back with me. Always a Caesar Salad as a starter, asking for it not to be overly saturated and they nailed it. Just a personal preference and this is massively nit picky, but just a hint more anchovy paste. Raquel then steered me to Shrimp Avocado Crostini as an appetizer. It truly left me speechless, and that's virtually impossible (just ask my kids). The perfectly toasted Crostini's, thinly sliced, a smear of the avocado, then a spoonful of heaven! I mean the warm shrimp goulash, salsa, soup... heck, whatever it was, was pure perfection. Limited myself to 3 pieces, about 9 bites, and only consumed about 1/3. For my main course I opted for a chicken dish as I often do. I chose the Spicy Chicken Chipotle with Penne Pasta, Blackened Chicken, bell peppers, edamame, mango... Now as I'm already achieving some pressure on my belt, all just have a couple bites. OOPS!!! Yup, it was THAT good! And it came out hot, as it should, a thing many restaurants miss on. I was confused after my first bite because it was unnaturally sublime! I devoured it!!! Just left enough to add it to the bounty traveling back to the hotel. Truly some of the very best pasta I've had anywhere. So now I'm stuffed and she comes over and says a naughty word, DESSERT! Crème Brûlée Cheesecake sound ok? Sure, I reply. Light, fluffy, not overly sweet, luscious caramel sauce... two perfect bites and into a to go package. The food, 10/10 The Service, 10/10 (Thanks Raquel!) The Atmosphere 9/10 Don't know if I will ever get the opportunity to return, but if I do it would be my honor to have a chance at trying more of the beautiful menu. Bon A-petite' Cheers

I was excited to try this restaurant since there aren't many upscale dining options in our area…read more The food was good and I enjoyed my meal, which is why I'm giving it a few stars. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. I sat in the bar area during happy hour and waited over an hour for my food. While I understand happy hour can be busy, the restaurant didn't appear overly crowded, so the wait felt excessive. Communication from the staff about the delay would have made the experience much better. The food quality was the highlight of my visit, but the long wait and slow service made the overall experience disappointing. I hope they can improve their timing because our community could really use a great local dining option.

The Annex checked every single box. First, let's talk about Sammie. If every restaurant had a Sammie, Yelp would probably have fewer 3-star reviews. She welcomed us like we were regulars, knew the menu inside and out, and steered us toward the Tagliatelle with the confidence of someone who knew we'd be thanking her later. She wasn't pushy, rehearsed, or robotic, just genuinely excited about the food. Those kinds of servers are rare. Honestly, Sammie is the fifth star on this review. Now the food. The Tagliatelle absolutely lived up to the hype. Rich without being heavy, flavorful without trying too hard, and balanced in a way that's surprisingly hard to pull off. Every ingredient had a purpose. After one bite, we completely understood why Sammie recommended it. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly. Great crust, tender inside, packed with flavor... and somehow the potatoes nearly stole the show. I know, they're potatoes. But whatever magic happened in that kitchen deserves some recognition because they were ridiculously crispy, perfectly seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. The burrata with stone fruit was another standout. Creamy burrata, sweet fruit, salty prosciutto, fresh mint, and toasted bread all came together into one of those bites that makes everyone at the table suddenly stop talking for a second. And then there was the mixed mushroom pizza. Some of the best mushrooms I've had outside of a music festival... kidding. Mostly. Seriously though, the mushrooms were incredible, and the pizza had that perfect balance of earthy, cheesy, crispy, and chewy that keeps you reaching for "just one more slice" until the plate is mysteriously empty. By the end of dinner we were completely full... and I was still looking at the menu trying to justify ordering something else. That's usually the biggest compliment I can give a restaurant. We'll absolutely be back. For the food, for the atmosphere, and hopefully for another table in Sammie's section. Whoever hired her made a great decision. Whoever decides raises should probably have a conversation with her too.

On my second visit, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs--and it did not disappoint. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, with a hearty, house-made sauce that tasted deeply authentic. The sauce had a beautiful balance of savory tomato flavor, herbs, and just the right amount of richness, as if it had been simmering all day. The meatballs were tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor, not dry or overly dense, but exactly what you hope for in classic Italian comfort food. Every bite felt homemade and satisfying, the kind of meal that reminds you of a family kitchen rather than a restaurant. Valentino's proves that size isn't everything; the small space is remarkably warm and inviting. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere perfectly mirrors the menu, allowing for a meal that feels unhurried. With its genuine family-run charm, the restaurant feels wonderfully authentic and approachable. Beyond the food, the experience at Valentino's is what truly sets it apart. It's a father-and-daughter business, and their pride shows in everything they do. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel more like a guest in their home than just a customer. If you're looking for authentic Italian food made with heart and tradition in Fresno, Valentino's is a must-try. I'll absolutely be back again.
