Alright, so. My partner and I call Round1 our casino. No, legit. We spend so much money here when we go on vacation, but instead of losing like 300 in chips in one bet, we loose it over a week. Things I love about Round1; um the crane games, DDR, shooters, motorcycle racing games, ticket games and the photo booth editors. -swoon- We love Round1. They have great prices, their food inst bad. They have this thing where you can do a time play. Meaning you pay for like 1 hour of unlimited play on certain games. This is great for games like shooters (which can be cheap token eaters sometimes) and racing games (when you wanna keep going.) Also this applies to some of the old fighter games. You can easily tell which ones are time play by the green sign. Lastly, Round1 has more things than just arcade games. They have bowling, a bar, karaoke, pool, ping pong, darts and a few more. Honestly, its almost like an adult playground and I love Round1. Bottom line: Every time we go down to Texas to visit my partners family, this is definitely a place we stop at. We came at almost 11 to take 4 kids and 3 adults bowling and every single bowling lane was closed for cleaning. Couldn't this have been done when the place was closed? You lost not only money on bowling but also arcade. We won't be back. read more

I come here often with my friends after 10pm so there aren't many kids running around. If you use your credits smartly they last a long time. The karaoke rooms are nice and have a large current song selection, and are fairly cheap except during peak times. This arcade is like no other in the area with games that will blow you away and are a lot of fun. read more

Lol so this place ain't really a bar but that day we kinda turned it into one lol. They have a bar in the back with amazing drink specials, I'm talking 1.99 beer specials. I felt generous and bought drinks for all my party like 3-4 rounds, got my tab and wanted to leave a good tip, but turns out they can't except tips from cards. That's not cool especially because those kids were very helpful and nice and I wanted to compensate. I was lucky that someone in my party had cash. This something you guys need to fix. Awesome spot and very affordable! Especially the unlimited drinks!!! The down side is they don't have alcohol, only beer and wine. However, it makes sense since it's in a mall and a lot of kids come in and out. They have bowling, billiards, air hockey, ping pong area that's screened off (so the unexpected ball doesn't hit you lol) karaoke rooms, and 2 stories of awesome arcade games. I will say the bowling shoes are a little uncomfortable. But overall, I gave it 5 stars because we had so much fun, we didn't realize we were there for 5 hours and stayed until it closed at 2am! read more

Wow, the employees here are so nice! We had a couple of plushies that were stuck in the claw machines and both employees we talked to placed the plushies in an easy position for us to be able to push down. One of the plushies became stuck and the employee used his own card and got it for us! We are really amazed and thankful at the quality of customer service here. We will definately be back. Came here because of the "kid zone" advertised and they said it was closed due to "reconstruction" yet there's absolutely nothing happening to it. Half the games don't work or are broken. Games eat your credits up and never play and then when you tel the staff you're basically called a liar. Bowling is about the only thing here. Go to Main Event or Dave and Busters and don't waste your money at this dump. read more

There's potential but it's wasted on silly things. 1) you HAVE to allow for karaoke room reservations 2) Limiting karaoke rooms to 1 hour is worthless for any group bigger than maybe 4 (and, no, you can't put yourself on the waitlist, they will actually kick you out after an hour) and 3) the alcohol policy for the karaoke rooms in completely dumbfounding. You can have soda and food inside the rooms (so they clearly aren't concerned about the equipment) but you can't have any alcohol in the room because they are worried about minors. There's a VERY easy solution - just make sure everyone has a wrist band, that's it... they go way out of their way to make sure you can't get any drink without an ID so it really wouldn't be hard at all to implement that policy. It really is a shame too because their equipment is really good, the system allows you to use an app to search and add songs, and the rooms are really nice but, man oh man, the issues they have above prevent me from recommending this place unfortunately. If they can fix the issues above I would definitely recommend it for adult karaoke but until they do I would just skip this place and go somewhere like Family Karaoke that's 15 minutes away. read more

Horrible. I used to be a regular and spent money here at least twice a week. Two days ago, all in one night, I was overcharged for both bowling and drinks, their manager insinuated I was a liar when I told him I did not have a receipt (even calling security as a backup! I'm 5'2 and was speaking very reasonably), and was refused a credit refund when a game did not work. Not to mention the health code violation of asking for a beer back once it had already been handed out to me. They obviously do not care about their customers at all, just want to make money off of everyone. Health code violations, horrible management, and possible discrimination against me for being there with my partner. They have nothing going for them. read more

Man i wish i can give them 0 star, compare this to round1 at Arlington, it is like day and night, this grapevine place is whacky as fuck, all the cranes machine are almost the same, nothing new, the Big Yoshi crane which is like 10 per play, when you press the button and the grabber hit one of the ball near the Yoshi plush , the sensor push it back up without grabbing the plush, all others plushes are in stuck positions and I tried to call someone work there for help, but they keep telling me to wait a little bit later, because they were busy talking in the Prizes room, If you planning to goto round1 and win some stuffed animals from UFO catchers, You should goto Round1 Arlington for different varieties of plushes and the people who work there will help you and give you advices for those cranes, and the people who work at Arlington Round1 are so much friendlier and helpful than all these guys at grapevine, spending time talking rather than helping customers. read more

Is this place fun? Yes! However, I played one of their games and hit a 1000 ticket bonus, another family member hit a 500 ticket bonus on a different game. When we went to redeem our tickets the amount of tickets on our cards did not reflect our winnings. When telling the employees About the mishap they said the game never took credits off my card so I couldn't have won the tickets. My stepson had a video of his winnings and it Still wasn't good enough. I would say this place is dishonest and their management needs to be more involved other than being the mask police. read more

I love coming here whenever I can, despite the complaints I have. When Gameworks closed down, I was pretty upset to find out it was gone, so I was happy to see Round1 replace it! The Project Diva, Taiko, Groove Coaster, etc. Japanese games were something I was very happy to see! The rhythm games are abundant here and reasonably priced. When it comes to redemption/claw games, I am disappointed. The UFO cranes that I loved at Gameworks are laughably weak to the point where I avoid them every time I go to Round1, despite my undying love for them. Not only that, but they are horribly expensive, their credit cost translating to $1.50-$2 for one play. On top of this, coin games like the Wizard of Oz ones situated in the middle of the first floor (next to aforementioned UFO cranes) have lower payout than other nearby arcades (like Pinstack in Plano). As expected for an arcade, it is also deafeningly loud, and I often leave with my ears ringing. Since I only go to Round1 for the rhythm games now after completely giving up on the claw games, I make sure to bring headphones or earphones with me to plug into the Japanese rhythm games. Without them, you can hardly hear the music you're playing to. I have no complaints for the food. It is better than most food I've had at other arcades, but still leaves a lot to be desired. The purikura (photobooths) are pretty generous with their editing time and are relatively affordable and easy to comprehend. The bowling and child play zone that they recently added aren't too pricey either. Honestly, even though I'm an adult, I still get the urge to play in the kids' zone just due to the sheer expanse of it...! Its existence definitely makes the arcade seem family-friendly to any unassuming family confused by the foreign arcade machines. read more

It was pretty cool, they have a lot you can do like darts, bowling, karaoke etc. we ordered food and they forgot to cook it so 30 minutes later we went back up and they said they would get it going. When the food finally came to us, the pizzas were burned and the rest was overlooked as well. The glasses were nasty and we had to ask for new ones twice. I've not actually bowled, but we go for the toddler area. My kids (1.5, and 3) love this place. They always ask to come here, they gets lots of energy out, and the crawling areas are big enough for me to chase my 1.5 year old if she gets scared. It's losing a star because sometimes no one is at the counter, which I think is a safety concern of those going in/out, and the bathroom aren't very clean, especially the family one. read more

This is a great arcade! We didn't bowl, only played the games. There is a huge variety. Games I have never seen before. We stayed a couple hours and used the $30 card in that time for 2 of us (my son and I). He and I really had a fun afternoon. They have a fishing game that was the bomb. Had a good time at their grapevine location for a birthday party. Their staff was very friendly and helpful but a little disorganized. I had to remind them of a number of things that our package included. It's clearly geared towards children and we knew that going in, but don't expect to be able to hear the person across the table from you in the boiling side. Between the music, pins and announcements I left with a headache. The food is gas station quality. The pizza came out earlier than discussed and had an overpowering spice, very little cheese or toppings. The party seemed to enjoy the wings but the lack of dipping sauces or any garnish like celery was surprising. If I had to compare it to any other local offering it would be chuck e cheese. read more

Terrible service, and no, it has nothing to do with Covid. The staff is very unhelpful, you ask the guy at the bowling register what's lighter for a special needs child and he just shrug his shoulder. Then we attempted to get a snack at the register, while in line 4 employees pass by, not one asked if we needed help. We finally go ask someone else to help us and he just keeps walking and signals someone else to come help. Ten more minutes later they come by. This place was pretty empty, plenty of staff, absolutely no help. There's stickers everywhere that say "item sanitized", yet we didn't see one person wiping anything down. Overall the concept of this arcade is great. I love that it has arcade games, bowling, karaoke, billiards, food, and a bar. There is probably more there but I didn't have a chance to look around. I randomly stopped in here after a movie with some friends for a drink and some food. I don't like that they do not have a full bar so no liquor, just beer and wine. That may be cool for some people but I feel like an area that is open until 2am every night and is 21 and up after 11pm should have a better drink selection. We also ordered a large pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, which honestly could've stayed there. The beer was a pretty good price for it being attached to a mall but other than that the games are a little over priced compared to the competition of Dave and Busters. Doesn't seem to different from the one in Arlington. One thing i noticed was that i couldn't use my Arlington round 1 game card here. Well i couldn't refill it so i had to get another one which is kinda annoying because now i have to wait to see if the grapevine game card works in the Arlington one because i never go there and i still have money in this new card. But they need to do something about the area where you sit in the bowling lanes. I literally have to walk all the way around, cutting people off in there lanes because their is hardly any room to pass in your little section. But other than that you get to bowl, play pool, and play all the arcades you want. Not very many places have arcades anymore so its nice to go somewhere to challenge someone in a fighting game. Lots of fun things to do with the family ash Round 1. Bowling, food, video games. They have a huge selection of the newest video games and many of the old favorites. It's clean and friendly. The bowling is great to do and keeps you out of the ever changing Texas weather! My kids love it all but the bowling shoe selection was by far their favorite. I've been here several times with my boyfriend and his extended family. They are incredibly brilliant when it comes to the crane games. Last night, we walked away with two Yoshi's. It seems like every time we visit, there's usually two new games, so I had to play the horse racing and baseball game. Additionally, the bowling is quite fun. Normally we go to Main Event for bowling but now we just go to Round One since they have just as many fun activities. Additionally, the food isn't overpriced and drinks are refillable which is an added bonus since we manage to spend hours there. My only consistent complaint is the bathroom. It smells really bad and looks like it's never checked on throughout the day. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom. That's a negative ghost rider. read more

Terrible last experience. We've been here over a dozen times and never had this bad of an experience in my life. How can you cut off a group of 12 people for odering 3 pitchers in one sitting????? Do they not know a pitcher only serves 4 beers?? I Hope anyone that experience the this place doesn't get the nappy headed lady that we got to serve our drinks from the bar. The stuff animal was stuck and the staff confirmed it should have fell. He said there's no way the elephant is going to fall the person who set it had it too far. So we asked him to place it where it should have been so we can continue. He reset it to the beginning and said good luck. Left.
