Cheap ramen as expensive play claw game prizes.

PUNKED?! Sadly going to spend our fun money elsewhere. Today we went and more than half of the crane game prizes were replaced with things that could be bought from a DOLLAR STORE - sponges, off brand sandwich bags, baby wipes, tissue box, cheap ramen, Gatorade, mini pretzels, etc. WTH? Who is going to pay $5 plus to win one $1 Ramen I could but a block over? It's beyond me how they thought this would be a good move. My family and I came here once a month and spent a lot of money on the games. The food was overpriced and ick.

Round1 Bowling & Arcade is a really fun experience. It's brand new, refreshed and remodeled and took over part of the old Sears Grand. This is like a Dave & Busters/Gameworks with a focus on Japanese games/prizes. There's a ton to do for people of all ages - there is a quick service restaurant inside, arcade games, video games and bowling lanes. I personally really liked the mini claw machines with small prizes inside - they're actually winnable which is surprising for this game lol. The prices are comparable to your average Dave & Busters location. It's definitely worth a visit, especially since it's brand new.

New, big with a lot of arcades. We were able to try bowling out too and it was great as well.

Poor management, terrible customer service. We came in today, 7 of us to play some games. The bar was closed because apparently they forgot to renew their liquor license. The security was harassing us about our water bottles. The ping pong area did not have a table or sufficient seating to accommodate people renting them. We moved a small table from 10 feet away, the adjacent billiards area and the manager along with five guys came to get the table back. He literally interrupted our game, and said he needs the table back. When tried to reason with him, pointing out that there are 7 of us and we rented both ping pong tables, we bought food and have nowhere to sit or put our stuff, the billiards didn't have anyone to use this table, he didn't care. His response was "this is how my company wants to run things". I mean we are paying customers. Has he not heard of customer service? This is bad customer service, I let him know (in case he didn't know). Seriously, who does that?? Coming in, interrupting our fun game (while our rental time is ticking) and getting the table and chairs from under us?? This is not just bad customer service, this is bad manners. Left very bad impression of this whole experiences I don't think we'd be coming back. Would not recommend this place.

Great place to spend a day. There's arcade machines, claw machines, bowling and you can grab food and drinks.

We asked to sit on the patio, and the atmosphere was awesome! We had tons of room at our 6-person table, and we had an umbrella, which was a lifesaver for the sunny, hot day. We specifically came here for their patio and entertainment; Brecken Miles was the entertainment, and he was singing and playing guitar. We were not disappointed because he was awesome! Servicewise, our waitress was nice, but admittedly, it took her a LONG time to check on us throughout our meal. There seemed to only be 2 waitresses working the patio area, so, understandably, service was a bit slow. Drinkwise, more than half of our table ordered a Pacifico because they had them on draft and in a can, but our waitress came back 10 minutes later telling us they only had one can left and were all out. Three of us ended up ordering a different drink, and thankfully, they had many options to choose from. Now, onto the biggest disappointment: the food. I ordered a new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and it was DROWNED in sauce. Normally, I love a ton of sauce, and when I first got my sandwich, I was excited by the amount of sauce. However, once I tasted it, I noticed that the chicken itself was so tough and overcooked that they probably put so much sauce on it to try and make the chicken more wet. Well, let me tell you, it didn't help at all. I did tell the waitress, and she was nice about taking my food back and allowing me to order something else. I ended up ordering 2 crispy tacos instead. These were fine, but nothing special and honestly very plain. My family was done with their food by the time I got my new meal, but thankfully, we were staying to listen to the music, so it didn't matter too much. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, but I tried my husband's Chicken Caesar Salad, and the chicken in that wasn't very good to me, either. It tasted plain with no seasonings. Overall, I'm sure I will come here again for some type of family affair, but I will be very selective next time about what I am ordering. NO chicken for me.

Couple of things surprised me - I was surprised to see so many options at a bar and only 7 reviews on yelp. Highly underrated and under reviewed place. Food - I ate one of the best pizzas in town, the crust was phenomenal. The owner told me the frozen crust gets imported from ITALY. Boars Head meat . So you know it is good stuff. I didn't leave the crust at all finished entire pizza. the toppings were generously added. I will try their fresh cut sandwiches next time. Drinks - Loved my old fashioned and then owner came in and offered me McCallan 17 year to try since I never had one (he didn't even charge me for it). Ambiance - Had so many things to do. FREE POOL tables, electronic darts, slot machines and lot of board games. I did shoot some balls. And was brand new. The owner is planning to get pool league started next year. Will be working towards that next year. Specials - Every day they run specials and every day they have cheap beers too. Easily you could spend few hours keeping yourself entertained. I am half an hour car ride away, will surely visit again for fully loaded pepperoni pizza. See you soon owner. May be next time I play pool with you.

My husband and I LOVE Memory Makers DJ Service!!!! We loved having the opportunity to attend a DJ…read moreShowcase and handpick our DJ! What an awesome experience! We chose Greg as our DJ and although he had to make a hefty commute to Countryside,IL on a Friday when traffic is brutal, he never once complained or seemed unhappy. He was super friendly and definitely a crowd pleaser. Finding out that he was a White Sox fan was also hilarious since our wedding cake was in the shape of Wrigley Field and we even had a Wrigley Field Scoreboard for our seating chart LOL. He also played the Go Cubs Go song for us. What a nice guy! We had a fantastic wedding and we are so grateful to Greg for being a big part of that success. We also used the photobooth with Memory Makers and loved it! We have a guest book filled with pictures and personalized notes from our guests that we will get to look back at and keep forever. My experience with Dave the owner was a great one as he was very efficient on the timeline that was needed to make the wedding a success. My husband and I truly love these GUYS and promise you will not be disappointed!

Expect communication from your DJ? Don't choose Memory Makers Entertainment!…read more We booked Memory Makers fifteen months prior to our wedding and thought we would be able to check one task off the list, but booking Memory Makers led to more headaches than any other aspect of our wedding. We had a minor issue with the check when we paid for the DJ immediately after booking. We began trying to connect with Dave Woll, Memory Maker's owner, in April of 2018 to verify everything had been straightened out with the check. We tried calling, emailing, and sending messages to Memory Maker's Facebook page, but didn't get a response until November of 2018 when we finally sent a message to Dave's personal Facebook account. Dave's four word response to our months-long attempts to get in touch with him left us with little assurance that we'd have a DJ the night of our wedding. Approximately three weeks before our wedding, we provided our DJ (Andres) with our song list and once again got silence in return. After reaching out to Andres and Dave several times, we had to resort to our wedding venue's event coordinator to help us get a response from Memory Makers. Dave emailed us THREE DAYS prior to our wedding that DJ Andres was no longer available. As you can imagine, we were left in a panic not only because of this new but our calls to Dave that night went unanswered. When we finally got a call back, Dave tried to "fix" the situation by having a DJ at our Saturday wedding (our wedding was actually on a Friday). After so many headaches, lack of communication, lack of professionalism we decided to go with another DJ company. Save yourself the stress of having to worry about whether you'll have a DJ on your important occasion. Do NOT book Memory Makers Entertainment for your Chicagoland event.
