I moved here from CA and had puppies that needed to be seen asap and I've been coming here with my 4 dogs ever since. I love Dr Zachery, that's what keeps me coming back. There was a time I took my senior rottie in and they had to take him into the back and cut his nails and draw some blood and I could hear one of the techs in there talking to him like I would (like a baby) telling him he's doing so good and just being so sweet to him and I loved that I took him somewhere where they would treat my so loved dog the way I would.

On 06/10, I took my 11-year-old Great Pyrenees to another vet (beware of Utah Veterinary Hospital) because he was limping and had a swollen foot. I thought it might be something like a foxtail, but they barely looked at his foot and told me it was hip dysplasia and that his foot might just be swollen from laying on it. That I shouldn't worry about it. They told me to come back in about 10 days for X-rays and bloodwork and I scheduled a follow-up for 06/22. My dog just kept getting worse and by 06/17, he could barely walk. I called my other vet to see if they could get me in earlier and they said his pain was "to be expected". I decided to get a second opinion, and Country View was able to get me in within a couple hours. The difference was obvious right away. They actually took a good look at his foot and immediately said he likely had a fracture or an infected wound. They did X-rays with anesthesia, ran bloodwork, and found and treated an abscess in his foot. They cleaned and drained it, and sent us home with antibiotics and probiotics. They also took the time to show me the X-rays and explain what was going on with his hip dysplasia and what our treatment options are, which I really appreciated. On top of all that, it ended up costing less than what I had been quoted at the other vet for just X-rays under anesthesia and bloodwork. I'm really grateful for how quickly they acted and how thorough they were. It made a huge difference for my dog and just a day later he already seems so much better. I definitely recommend Country View Veterinary Hospital.

I had to to bring my pit to the shelter, pay $150 so officer Martinez could sexially assault me by taking pics of my chest (I was wearing a sleeveless tank under a jacket) . I had a jacket on but had to remove it to allow unnecessary pics under the ruse of photographing my injuries. When I called ems, they did nothing, didn't dress my wounds. I literally had no idea what was going on for the first 2.5 hours. And then when someone would come tell me the plan it would be another hour with no word. I completely get being busy, I understand not being able to control power outages, but it is inexcusable to not have someone updating me or anyone else for that matter every 20-30 minutes on wait times, change of plans, etc. I missed my uncles funeral viewing because I didn't know it would take 6 hours. Never have I had such an exhausting experience being emotionally blind and helpless. The doctor was kind. The front desk staff were kind enough, they just seemed indifferent which sucks. We are bringing our animals to you, they're a part of our families and we are obviously worried. Please work on the compassion. And then to have my "price quote" that they talked with me about with the tablet be over $150 difference at check out was shocking. The tablet price should've been mentioned as a starting point and then "this could go up depending on changes that need to be made while you're here." so no one is blindsided. It's been a day. I don't want to be a Debbie downer, and I can give Grace and maybe all the employees are having an off day themselves- but employee training and customer care changes need to be made for sure. I will not be bringing my dog back here if I can avoid it in the future because I don't have the emotional bandwidth to do that again under the same circumstances.

So grateful this clinic had an appointment available for us when I called a few days in advance. Check in was simple and easy. There were a few people waiting with their pets that were waiting without an appointment to be seen. I think it's nice of the clinic to do that and allow them to be seen when the vet has some time, so many other places would turn them away. Anyway, the technicians were so good and sweet with my dog and they took really good care of her. I felt the vet examined my dog thoroughly. I don't know comparability of the cost, the exam fee was about $50 and then treatment an meds, we ended up at roughly $102. A small price to pay so my dog could be taken care of so well. The technician gave her a few treats and was so sweet. You can tell that the staff really does care about animals. They do vaccinations, I believe nail grooming, among other things. They are undergoing some construction I believe to expand some. I would recommend this place for all of your animal needs!
