I purchased a vehicle that one of the workers messed up the bumper that was promised to be fixed which it was, but the day I went to go look at it , I seen that the back up camera didn't work and there was a tear in the tire. Now they did fix the tire and was free but the camera I was quoted $700 to fix something that was already spoke to about in the beginning but they refuse to help with that and expect me to pay to fix it. which I refuse and so glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. My advisor was friendly enough, but my car needs a new turbo because mine went bad. My car has been sputtering for about a thousand miles or so. I took my car in around the 59,000 mark to get it checked out. The advisor then told me since I am not dropping any codes they couldn't do anything and to just wait until I get a code. Guess what! The code dropped at 62,000 miles and now I am outside my warranty and I need a turbo AND a throttle body. Chevy and the dealership should be ashamed of themselves. I then went down the road to the ford dealership. They claimed to have a car similar to what I was looking for. After a few lies, the Ford salesman pulls up in the same car I was just looking at! I was in town visiting the in-laws and my father in law wanted to purchase a truck on the 1st of the year, I told him it might be difficult as it was a small town and a lot of places might be closed or won't open until late, we arrived at roundtree Chevy at 8:30am and where immediately greeted by Hunter who helped us every step of the way, Hunter explained everything thoroughly and outlined everything that was important on the paperwork, would definitely do business with them again, we arrived at 8:30am and left with a new truck by 11:00am. This was one of the worst car service experiences in my life. My transmission on my truck went when I had just pulled into a state park campground in the middle of the Okefenokee swamp. I got towed to this dealership. On checking out the truck I was first told the transfer case was bad and I might as well get the transmission replaced too. When I opted to get the transfer case fixed the story changed to the transmission being the problem but the transfer case should also get done. Ok, so as I was 60 miles from my campsite I had them get me a rental car. The next day when I used the park service phone ( no service out there) I was told to bring the car back as they didn't want to pay. I insisted that I had no way to go back and forth otherwise - they said they would drive me back, but not pick me up again! I refused, and kept the car. Unbelievably, they had the truck finished the next day - mainly to save the rental cost! While I was looking at the paperwork the service advisor ripped it out of my hands while I was looking at the mechanics notes! All in all it was a very disconcerting experience and I had the truck checked over by another mechanic later. They did NOT give me a new transfer case. read more

Since then, had to replace the battery 3 times, it's twice become inoperable, is currently not drivable, and may have a totally failed electrical system. Within 50k mileage! I stopped by to get a estimate on repairing a steering fault code at 1030am on Thursday, a $200 evaluation fee to locate the problem, no communication until I called at 430 pm to fine out the problem, it was a steering column harness, part had to be ordered , so I call back Monday, the service advisor (Mike) went to check the progress and call me back. After several hours later I call again, waited for Mike, the part came in but they need additional part so they were going to overnight the part and not charge me for it, so Tuesday I called and was told the part came in, they would call when the job was completed. Well that afternoon the call at 4pm and it was ready, so I went down to pick the vehicle up, the cost was $948 and I paid for the part after the service advisor said he would, plus they did a crappy wash job. If I was the service manager I would have fired the service advisor do to the lack of communication skills and lying to the customer. For almost 7 months my mom and I have been trying to get her GAP cancel. Due to her car is paid off early. The first time I called and explained that she has moved 2 and half hours away and she is not able to drive that far. So they asked for her new address and they said that they will over night the paper work. That was the first lie. So we waited patiently for a week. So I called back and spoke with a salesman and explain to him the situation once again. Basically in so many words he called me a crook. So I hung up and called back and was able to get through to another manger and explain to him the same thing and advised him what his salesman just called me. Once again and too no avail. Lie after lie after lie, week after week after week, for three months. Finally we though we were getting some where. They email me the paperwork and my mom signed the papers. I then email and PDF the paperwork back to them on March 30 2022. It's July 25, 2022 still no refund. I called again today on July 25 2022 at 11:53am. It's 1:30pm and once again other lie and no call back yet. I have records of every time I have called them and records of the emails. I am completely pissed and blown away at the level of this customer treatment. For two reasons. My family for many many years has done business with them. Second I was a salesman at the Ford dealership. I NEVER TREATED ANY OF MY CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS. AND I PRAY THAT NONE OF THEM ARE BEING TREATED LIKE THIS EITHER. I had the worse ever experience today from Rountree Moore Chevrolet trying to purchase my husband a truck. It's a sad day when a dealership has no desire to sell especially when a customer has money in hand. I look at it though it's there loss another dealerships gain. I have lost complete trust in any dealership with this name on it and even cringe when I have to have service maintenance work done on my Toyota. I didn't used to be that way and would have recommended Rountree Toyota not Chevrolet because it's always been the same experience everytime we try to purchase here. We (Husband, Wife and child) bought a 2016 Chevy Tahoe. Our sales person: Caleb was GREAT! He listened to us and found us 9-10 what we were looking for. We also accepted their 3 year 36k mile warranty. However, we drove it less than 100 miles and it started having issues. We had to have the battery charged due to the alternator wasnt working properly. We found this out by getting the battery and alternator tested at AutoZone. Took our pictures of the AutoZone test results along with the mileage to show we went less than 100 miles. After lots of the dealers tests they said everything is working ok... The warranty won't take effect for 30 days. They wont go based off the vehicle gauges showing the issue because they can't pin point the issue and they won't go off of AutoZones tests because it's not their tests. They rather see a family stranded on the side of the road than fix the issue! The whole purpose of going to a dealership is for worry free vehicles because they are supposed to do thorough inspection. We were better off buying from a person than a dealer! We WILL NOT be doing business with them again! read more

I should have read the reviews on here and yelp and I would never have worked with them.... I was lied to about so many things ...I bought the set I wanted my check back but said I had his word he would take care of it car over the phone sorta which I have done on several occasions with final inspection on delivery. Was told the car was in pristine condition..wrong scratches down the whole side but my fault for not inspecting it better but we were meeting half way between Destin and Lake City he was 2 hours late and it was pouring rain. Also the listing said it had navigation none.. said it was cleaned and detailed not done .But the real problem was he only brought me 1 set of keys he , Josh, romised he would get me the 2nd. !st time I called he said the company lost money on the deal and to bad... called and texed him 3 times.. nothing,,,called sale mgr. Chuck nothing.. called Alex Winnett nothing . Once they get your money you are a no body ...Please if you want good service and people that are not rude go some where else. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at any car dealership/service station! On the start of a long road trip to California my friend and I experienced some car issues and had an emergency stop. John was able to look at our car right away and he explained every step of the process our car would go through. Everyone else was so hospitable also, out of this world! Henry made sure we got some lunch during our wait. A wonderful start to our grand adventure. And now that we are back on the road we feel so safe and the car is running well! Very horrible customer service. Permanent tags still never came. They said they cannot do anything about it because they sent in paperwork two days after I bought the car. Later they got exposed by DMV that they never sent in the paperwork for my permanent tags even though I paid for them. Then a second excuse that the Tampa office was starting to work on it, one month after purchase. At that point, they said they dnt know when I would get it. Still waiting to get the permanent tags. They made me travel three times to even get a second temporary tag. If you need some frustration about driving the car you bought, buy from them. Once they get your money, you are no longer important. They suddenly become rude and ignore your calls after you pay. I am filing an affidavit of complaint through the DMV against this dealership. read more

My husband and I had a very bad experience with Rountree Moore Chevy service dept. We took our vehicle in 3 times for a warranty issue and not one thing has been resolved. The first 2 times we took it in they test drove it and said they thought it was in the transmission and we would have to bring it back (had appts. both times) so the 3rd time we took it in (on the date they asked us to bring back) still nothing resolved. My husband actually waited at the dealership and the car sat there for 4 hours and was not touched. Don't let the shirt and ties fool you. Not worth it! Horrible service! read more

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a dealership. I went online to help them and us with a smooth transaction. I was assigned a sales associate and went in a couple days later expecting to pick up a New Tahoe. They wanted my two cars and $1000 after a company discount over $3000 and a GM discount over $6500. I continued to try to work with them to buy a vehicle from them only because they had already ran my credit(inquiries hurt credit) and I didn't want to start this process again. Well after two weeks and not one call back when they said they would call(I called them back hours later), the last call that I made on an inquiry about a transfer, I was told that I got too low an interest rate and needed an extra 4 or 5 thousand dollars down. WHAT??? I bought a car from Rountree Moore Ford last year and because of this branch of Rountree Moore, I will not ever step a foot onto any of their dealerships and will spread my experience for all to hear. Completely unsatisfied! We were visiting Lake City, FL and had run into vehicle trouble, instead of having our vehicle towed to a local mechanic we determined that taking it to the "professionals" would be much better. After having our vehicle towed to the shop, we explained everything we had already tried to get the car running, including purchasing a new battery and it didn't help. We were told that our battery was tested and came bad, which we know wasn't the case but we were stuck and didn't have any other options so we approved them putting in a battery anyway....$300 later with labor and it didn't help the problem. Then we were told, well our mechanic is pretty sure you need a new ECM, my husband said...are you positive that's what it is? The answer he got was....well our mechanic said he's pretty confident that's the problem, again we are stranded and we have to do what we have to do right? We get a call after the part is installed only for them to tell us that it didn't work after that either! Now my husband is upset as we are on vacation and are felling like we are playing a guessing game. We were told okay, now we are needing a fuel pump module, my husband says again, are you sure this will be the fix....how much am I already having to pay you guys....the gentleman tells him that it will cost us about $860 plus tax after they put this fuel pump module in and they are trying to get us a deal. Again, we are stuck and have already missed almost a week of work due to this car trouble, so they put in the module. Guess what???? They called again to tell us that our vehicle still wasn't running!!!!! Are you kidding me! So, we go down to the dealership to talk to the mechanic and try to figure out what is going on. When my husband starts talking to the mechanic that has been working on our vehicle, and mind you my husband knows a few things about cars himself, the mechanic tells him and I quote, "if you are going to come up in here running your mouth you better be able to back that sh*t up". Professional right? Okay, so I am surprised my husband didn't flip, but he remained calm and said okay so tell me what you know please. As the man attempts to show my husband something on the computer screen what it is saying, my husband points to what the guy was talking about and is told, "don't touch my computer screen I don't want your finger prints all over it". And this was the last straw of trying to talk to this guy so we asked to speak to the manager, Kevin. Kevin was great as a person, he listened to us and was ready to get a solution to get our car running. We ended up leaving the dealership and got a call a couple hours later saying that the car was running, we could come pick it up. My husband asks over the phone how much we will have to pay for everything and they say that we will have to pay whatever the last price was offered to us on the phone, $860 something plus the tax which would take us just over $900. Again we don't see that we have a choice at this point, we aren't from here and have to drive 1200 miles back home asap. We get there and there is some explanation as to why they couldn't get it to start before and a part they put in they had to replace because something blew it when they were trying to reset it and blah, blah, blah. We signed papers and off we went, owing them for a battery (that wasn't bad in the first place), and two modules that weren't even the issue. We drive to go load up our car and get on the road because we HAVE to get home or we will be without jobs. Getting on the expressway my kids want to watch one of their movies, as we have DVD players. Guess what, NOW OUR RADIO HAS NO SOUND! We are driving 1200 miles, from Florida to Michigan with nothing! No radio, no nothing! And there are no dash sounds either. We get about 100 miles into our trip and the check engine light comes on. Also, let me note that we have 4 brand new tires on our truck, we didn't have an issue with tire pressure the whole way down to Florida, but on our ride home our drivers tire is losing pressure and every stop for gas we had to put air in because we were down to about 5% pressure. Put in another 400 miles in and a few fuses blow. Finally make it home (we didn't shut our car off the whole ride home out of fear it wouldn't start again), go out to leave the next day and guess what, SAME PROBLEM, car won't start. It won't start after being jumped or anything!!!! Clearly this dealership did not fix our problem and we left there with other issues that we didn't have prior to that visit!! I am completely unsatisfied with this dealership as we feel like they knew we didn't have a choice but to pay them because we needed our vehicle to get home! I am angry that I owe them 900 and my Escalade is still not functioning. We have family that buys from Rountree Chevrolet. I have always swore by GM, possibly not anymore after this. I will never tell ANYONE about this place unless it is to warn them of the experience I had there. Me and my parents were purchasing a 2015 Nissan titan and while we were purchasing the truck and started the financing process we had to be moved to the chevy dealership across the parking lot because the guy in Nissan was "busy". Whenever my parents went into his office they were NOT informed they were being videotaped until AFTER they were done and even then the guy didn't tell them but my dad happened to see the finance guy's computer screen and seen themselves on it AFTER they were signing papers. This is a violation of privacy. While I was sitting outside of the office waiting on them to finish a salesman on the floor was complaining (LOUDLY) about how he had to get up early the next morning, it was only 7:30 and they close at 7, and how he didn't care about our sale and I was sitting no more than 10 feet away from the salesmen having this conversation. A week later we decided to cancel our maintenance plan with them through Master tech and we had to drive over 100 miles AGAIN to sign the papers and to recieve a copy of the needed paper to cancel the contract. We did NOT get a copy of the paper that day and after my mother told the finance man we did not want the contract anymore he couldn't get us out of his office fast enough.
