Thanks so very much to Rouses for being open during this Covid epidemic. Very much appreciate the Rouse's employees. Unsung heroes. Five stars worthy. Rouse's has regained my trust during this trying time in our trying time. Appreciate Rouses

The location in Zachary is awful, the lines move way to slow. The food quality is poor I can't tell you how many times there has been moldy or rotten vegetables and herbs in the produce section. The meats and cheese choices in the deli section are all ROUSES brand . The bakery section used to be good before they were Rouses now they SUCK ! The meat prices are terrible and hardly any choices. I used to shop here everyday but know I drive to Central or Baton Rouge to buy my groceries

It was ok. The workers are polite but it look & smelled run down. If it was just a bit clear I would of given it another star.

Very disappointed with the Gentilly cake at the Zachary Store. Check expiration dates closely.

Always has everything we need. Organics, select cheese, and other hard to find products. And, a great wine and beer section.

The spicy vodka sandwich is very, very good, and it is a very large sandwich. You could split one and both people will walk away happy. Service here is fantastic- refills as soon as you ask and a kind staff, even when there's a rush. I will say there is a little bit of a wait, BUT good food should take time, and that is the case here. PS- the Lebanese Tea is fantastic!

But after looking around for a moment, she found a more descriptive menu. I suppose if you're a regular, that's not an issue. For a first timer, it's weird. I came here with high hopes for an Italian hoagie ("The Italian"). A good Italian hoagie is hard to find in the heart of po-boy country. The meat and cheese on this version is good, but the sandwich is kind of small and a bit dry. The menu says it includes roasted red peppers, but that was missing from my sandwich. It does appear they have a nice variety of bagels. Overall not bad, but I'm still in search of a good Italian hoagie.

They have some brands you can't find in many places, and the prices are pretty competitive. They also have a small wall of "alcohol removed" drinks that provide a great variety of beer, seltzers, wine, and liquor sans alcohol. The crew working in there was nice. No one offered to assist, but that let me roam the store a bit. I probably could have used a point toward some things I wanted, but it was fine. Great store for your party or personal needs!
