That being said, my workplace gets a discount through Tire Warehouse, which is what initially brought me in the store. I loved that I could book an appointment online through their website (a must in 2019 in my opinion) Despite not such a great exterior, the inside of the store is clean and I was promptly greeted and checked in. They put my tires on within a half house so I decided to hang out while they did it. Workers came in and out and all greeted me and even cracked a few jokes with me. I got into a discussion about women and car repairs/needs. They let me know that they're organization's culture frowns upon that and that they don't work on commission, so there's no pressure to do any unnecessary upselling. Getting new tires isn't everyone's favorite activity, but Tire Warehouse makes it as pleasant and fast as they can. I'll be back and recommend you go there as well. I paid about $700 for brand new, top of the line, set of tires and labor.

My tires that I bought at Mavis about two months prior were already boiled on the inside. The mechanic in New York said probably whoever installed the tires didn't do the wheel alignment. I've been chasing Mavis since September 2 and the corporate office people keep brushing me off and telling me some imaginary person is going to give me a call and they never do. I let them know I'd be across the street and to please call or text when the car was ready. An hour later I hadn't heard from them, so walked back over and they hadn't even looked at my car yet. They weren't considerate enough to even notify me. They then said it would be "another hour, and we are taking it right now." An hour later I called to see if it was done and they put me on hold for 15 minutes and never answered. Then when I arrived I was told it would "be another 15 minutes." 25 minutes later the car was done. Two Hours and 30 minutes for what I was told would be a one hour visit. 1. It is simple consideration to tell the truth about timing so people can plan their day. 2. It would have been simple consideration to have called me about the delay. 3. It would have been simple consideration to have answered the phone instead of leaving me on hold 15 minutes. When I mentioned these things the answer I got was a shrug and "Well, it's that time of year." What time of year? Apparently the time of year to disregard customers. The prices and work are decent. The customer service is AWFUL-and for no good reason.
