I love this place for Sunday brunch, but I will say today was pretty busy. My boyfriend and I got the last open table around 11 and were seated in the corner in the sun (I hate that table). I got a Bloody Mary which was pretty good. He ordered a coffee and it took so long to get cream and sugar we had to ask another waitress for it. By the time we finally got our food it was past 12. Although was my food was delicious (besides the slightly burnt toast), they forgot the onions and cheese on my boyfriend's hash browns. I heard one of the table a few tables down complaining to one of the mangers about the service. Overall it was great food, but the service and ambiance just wasn't the best today.

If you are celiac or have a gluten allergy, this place is for you! Even if you are not, the food was amazing. We got the fish and chips, venison chili, calamari/shrimp, and chicken wings. The chicken wings were so crispy and the hot sauce was so tasty - would highly recommend. They use a dedicated friers so this was the first time eating fish and chips and fried calamari as a celiac.

Definitely a local spot and we love it! They have a quite varied menu with lots of American fare. SOOOOOO many gluten free options and everything is hearty and tasty. The service is fast and they are friendly. Something about the place is homey and comforting. We love that they decorate for Christmas.

Came here after a long morning with little sleep from a day assisting filming with NBC, this spot was pretty close by the Vail resorts & my people said they enjoyed it from the other day so we came back for an early lunch. Let's see route 6 diner is a calm spot for sure staff was chill & we were seated quickly, the waitress gave us menus & a few minutes to order I was being so indecisive stuck between 3-4 items I wanted to order lol. The service was good & the place was clean as for food I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito & some French toast I ate everything except half my burrito I took that home & ate the rest after my nap it tasted better then lol (no shade) it was just a strange morning is all, the food portions sizes were good definitely more then enough for one person. Recommend I would eat here again for sure.

Cash discount added to the bill.

This used to be an o.k. place for breakfast. I have no idea how it went so far downhill. I found something floating in my beverage, and they still charged me for it. I was supposed to get hashbrowns, didn't, had to ask for them. They should probably buy a water filter, as the tap water has a very distinct "taste." Last but not least, they have gone to a cash discount that they don't tell you about until you get the bill, then they add it to your bill if you pay with a card.

Route 6 seems like the type of place where locals know to go to for a reliably good meal of comfort food. They also serve several entrees one wouldn't expect from a cafe such as Curries, Picattas and Yorkshire Pudding. I had the Cheeseburger with a side of fried okra and was pleased. At $9 during happy hour it was a great deal, and very filling. There's an adjoining bar to the cafe and it also is very down to earth and has some surprisingly good cocktails on the menu. The staff at the cafe and restaurant were attentive and welcoming. All in all a pretty good cafe and I'd go back.

Service was okay. Food was okay. Nothing great but nothing terrible. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive during a slow time.

Average. One Yelp user said "meh" with two stars, and I generally concur, except the food is pretty decent. Average service, average bathroom cleanliness. My wife said that the general experience was "mediocre", but added that her burger (the Across the border burger) was very good. The waiters and waitresses are pretty unprofessionally dressed/groomed, but provided decent service. Also, it was slightly on the expensive side for the food quality.

I love the atmosphere, the food, and the owner. Fair prices and delicious food. One of the few remaining gems of the Vail Valley.

Best local bar and restaurant in town. Ask for Therese or Jessie. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rafas hot wing sauce is to die for!

The bar itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful attention to small details. The bar seating against the window rail is incredible and if it's a nice day, you'll find it like we did, with the accordion window panes tucked away. You can't find a better way to spend an afternoon in the city - their craft cocktails are creative and unexpected. The views to pair with that, along with great company - chef's kiss. We ordered a few drinks and soaked in the views. The staff checked on us often and were up to making a few "off menu" drinks - that wowed us. If you aren't seeing what you are looking for, ask for it. I bet you won't be disappointed.

The Lookout bar is located in The Westin and on the top floor with stunning views. We were first greeted by the host Hal who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I noticed Hal walking through the bar checking on guests and also assisting the servers as needed with drink and food orders. We were seated at the window which had stunning views of the local village and mountain. Our servers John and Augustina were excellent. They never left us waiting for service and continuously checked in on us. We ordered dirty martinis which were served nice and cold. The only negative about the martinis would be the glasses are smaller than what martinis at most other places would be served in so it is simply a smaller serving. However, the wine was a generous pour. For bites, we ordered the Pimento Cheese which was served warm with baguette. So tasty. The beef + blue toasts. This was okay but not our favorite. The burrata salad. Very refreshing and delicious. Since we were not staying at the Weston and had to valet, they were kind enough to validate our ticket. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and experience the beautiful views and delicious drinks and small bites.

The woman at the station finished preparing a dozen oysters that had already been cracked open. Very nice visual presentation. She then wiped the shucking knife with a dry towel put the back in its place, folded the towel and wiped the board with it. Disposed of her gloves, took out the trash, replaced the trash bag, no hand washing, touched the same towel, put on new gloves, handled the trash can again. Rearranged some clean plates, prepped another order of oysters using same towel again wiping down it. She restocked the condiments wearing the same gloves (this was done a couple of times). Puts on fresh gloves to prepare a shrimp cocktail. Uses the same towel to wipe out the shrimp cocktail glass. Box of gloves is now left on the cutting board and towel again used to wipe cutting board. Shift change: she takes off her apron folding it setting it on the cutting board where the oysters had been while she talks to her coworker. Next out comes a little boutique shopping bag that also lands on the cutting board. Her replacement went on to shuck oysters on the same area of the board never giving it more than a wipe with a dry towel which he also used to handle oysters. My food and drinks were great, no seafood, and if not for what I watched this would have been a 4 star review. Not taking the chance that the kitchen has better food hygiene practices and I won't be back

We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.
