My experience was exactly as they advertised! Route 66 smog is actually at the end of the lot. It is not visible from the street. you know this guy should have a sign saying if you don't pass you still have to pay because the way he made it sound like no no worries yeah we do your van here etc etc and don't worry about it we got you then I asked him how much you'll be he's all I'll let you know in a little bit and then when my Vans are not pass he's comes up to me and tells me that'll be 111 wow and it didn't pass you know I know it's an old van and the guy that works on the cars there told me never to get rid of it it's a good running bad he has one himself but yet they still couldn't get it to pass what happened to the places where if it doesn't pass you don't have to pay the whole entire time I thought it was like that there but it wasn't the whole entire time you knew what he was doing he knew that's a free $111 for him and that's what you got for me and I still have no smoge another thing he says he has repairs to get it smog he told me to take it somewhere else to get it fixed and to do all these things to it and he can't guarantee that it's going to fast after that but at least my van will be running great you cannot run a vehicle without any smog in California so what the hell is he talking about you know the guy's pretty kind and cool and all that but damn he's a cutthroat person at the end read more

Very professional, has knowledge, and he's pretty fair with the rates too. Took my vehicle to a different smog check shop and they failed it for having an aftermarket CAT, because They were too lazy to check the aftermarket catalytic converter database. Brought it to Evan at Route 66 smog, told him my situation and he did some research for the CAT that was installed. And he was able to pass my vehicle. Good ppl work here! Oh! This place seems to change owners once a year. I went two years ago. A nice older guy owned it. Was fast and friendly. The ownership has since changed twice. I went in and a younger guy was working. He was also friendly. Chatted a bit while he tested my truck. I pulled up without an appointment and was done in 15 minutes. Came out to $50 even. Pretty nice.
