Not Recommended...save your money! Had vehicle towed in with dead battery, brake line repair and sliding auto door no power therefor won't latch properly also issue with rear caliper. OUTCOME: Did not fix original issue with door latch power motor and replace battery. Refused to give me labor cost to install an $800 door part. Refused to give me part # from dealer for latch kit, new tires came with no valve stems, NEW BATTERY I PAID FOR WAS NEVER INSTALLED. AFTER MULTIPLE BREAK DOWNS MY HUSBAND LEARNED THERE WAS NO NEW BATTERY! Had to return to mechanic for full refund, part and labor. Best part... we looked online and metered the door power and learned it was a door motor for automatic opening that failed. Part cost $75.00 / 1 hour labor (So what was the $800 latch kit for which included no door motor) My experience: Day 1. Leaking brake line repair & full diagnostic. Sliding door latch needs replacement (in their opinion) even though no power to door. Requires dealer part pending price quote. Told very expensive part. Day 2 front discs, front calipers (told rear was fine just need tires). Day 3 now rear brakes are NOT good and required discs and caliper pin repair. Also issue with E brake not found during diagnostic on day 1. Day 4 Discussed work completed and pending dealer quote. (Reconvene Monday) Day 7 (at mechanic) Dealer latch kit is $800. We requested labor cost...owner will call back with price. Day 8 No call back Day 9 Called again for price of labor and actual part number for dealer part for latch. Also enquired about power to the door and if this latch will fix the power issue. Owner not sure about repair must speak to mechanic. Still no labor price. "I don't know latch part number. The dealer just gave a price based on vin #) owner cannot provide me a part # Day 10 finally sick of back and forth on labor price and uncertainty of door repair that we picked up the vehicle. And paid for work completed. VERY UPSET DOOR NOT FIXED AS THAT WAS THE MAJOR ISSUE DISCUSSED BEFORE TOWED IN. Note: every time I called owner was confused on what my name was or vehicle was even though we spoke daily. Did not know what was or wasn't done and couldn't keep track of what was to be done or what was completed. Very disorganized and multiple times said "oh the mechanic worked on that not me"! Tires - no valve stems (unprofessional) Power door repair- Door latch kit $800 not the problem (needed a door motor as suggested by my husband based on no power to door) over charge on senseless replacement not cause of problem. Battery - charged for and NEVER INSTALLED (required refund) (deceitful) I WILL NEVER BRING MY VEHICLE HERE AGAIN NOR WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. They took it on the lift and said $500 for 2 mufflers.. after going home and thinking about it i canceled my appointment for the next day.. After googling and contacting dealership.. turns out i have 1 muffler not 2.. They were going to over charge me for 2... So sad... they lost a very popular customer in the area.... read more

Two of my Airmatic struts on my 2010 Mercedes GL450 were leaking. I took it to Mercedes and they quoted me $2000 for the front and $1700 for the rear, parts alone. I had a leak in the drivers side front and rear. After a $199 diagnostic charge, labor & tax the cost would have come to over $5000 at Mercedes. The guys at Route 94 auto were very honest. They located aftermarket struts for a fraction of the cost, $750 for the front and $440 for the back. I looked at the forums and some Mercedes mechanics said that the aftermarket struts were designed better than the originals. The total bill came to a little under $1700. That's roughly 1/3 of what I would've paid at Mercedes!!! I will definitely be taking my car(s) here for service when needed read more

My exhaust drop down after mechanic work on it I took it to 94 Mufflers and explicitly said put it back together the right way to make sure I have no more issues with this exhaust it's snowing out and I can't have down time with my car. Not even a month went by and my rear exhaust dropped. However when it dropped hey grabbed the fuel line and broke it. I took it back and he said no way that could've happened and the exhaust was bouncing back-and-forth and smashing into the fuel line and I had to drive it home that way 50 miles worried about whether my car was going to catch on fire or explode. Sowed to weld my exhaust and to put on the extra clams it was over $330 that is absurd and ridiculous and having to take it back twice now I have to spend hundreds of dollars for fuel line that he won't replace. Again I explicitly asked that it be taken care of the first time the right way the correct way in accordance with ASE certifications and it was not done correctly hello total I'm going to be spending about $600 for repairs for a simple well into bracket. I did express my dissatisfaction with him before leaving however is still had to pay the bill this is wrong read more

I have a VW Passat with a broken flex pipe so the car sounded terrible. I'm a shade tree mechanic but this repair was not anything I wanted to tackle. Looked for a local business that specialized in exhaust repair and found them along with good reviews. Gave them a call at 3:00 in the afternoon, told me to come in so they could take a look at my issue. Arrived at 3:45 and the car was taken right in to the service bay. Within minutes I was given a very fair quote and they offered to fix the problem the same day (totally unexpexted since it was so late in the day).
