Well everytime I've come in for pickup it's a quick in and out. They're friendly but not really a need to interact. I've paid. I'm just picking up. Well this time was different. My guy had just moved in and we celebrate moves with a pizza dinner. Because I like REWARDS, I used the app, and had everything ready, placed my order. Then I got a message that it didn't go through and to try again. Argh. I had JUST customized my vegan pizza and my guy's pizza. SO I input the order again and YAY it went through. When I got there, it was quiet (which REALLY?!?! Order this pizza is SO good!!) and I said I was picking up. The OG order was under my name but I put the new one under my guy. I said that and the girl came over and said SO...there are actually two orders for you. And I looked at her VERY quizzically. (as you might imagine!) I explained what happened and she said "I'm so sorry, that's actually the second time that's happened since yesterday so I need to make sure our owners know." I said "not sure why you're sorry, not your fault!" So she said "these are both VERY specific pizza orders I can't just resell it. Would it be fair if I charged you the higher dollar amount, and you can just take all 4?" I said "hold up. That's WAY more than fair. It's the literal Pizza Lottery." SO WONDERFUL service that I got to experience and she was luckily the manager as well so she took care of everything for me. I'm telling you this pizza is SO good. It's my favorite and service like that makes it an establishment I definitely want to support!! read more

They make a really great thin pizza. Maui (something) is my favorite. Like a Hawaiian with green peppers and tomatoes. The ingredients are spread evenly and not too little. Always busy there and the staff is always friendly. They have a small TV inside and a few tables. Tight parking lot, but worth stopping by for sure! read more

I have been know to be critical on pizza. But I am no Dave Portnoy :). Was craving a cheese pizza and I have to give it to Rovente, it's a good slice of Cheese pizza. Sitting here waiting for two Rovente Pizzas (Omnivore Delite Pizza and Maui Maui Pizza) and this is still my favorite pizza and worth every penny. This was, by far, the worst pizza I have had. The person got our order wrong and we had to wait an extra 25 minutes for takeout. The crust was undercooked, almost raw. Topping seemed just thrown on. There wasn't any flavor of sauce or cheese. I was craving pizza too. Not good. Will never go to Rovente again. read more

I love this pizza when it's good, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency. About every other pizza I order is off a little. I just ordered one and there was very little cheese on it which made it saucey and very thin. There were also slices without toppings. Ugh... I like this place. They make a solid vegan pie. I've had it 3-4 times over the past year... Tonite was bummer town. First piece I THOUGHT I had a hair baked into the crust. It was like an inch long and light colored. I brushed it off and moved on... The second slice however... you can't miss this behemoth dark gnarly hair baked right into the pizza. Legit looks like a chest hair. Gonna have to retire from this spot. It's been a good run. I just expect more from such an expensive pie. read more

I am not sure where all the fives came from. As an avid yelper I expect ratings to be truthful... but they are not in this case. Maybe take out is better? Not sure how that can be when the crust is tasteless and has the texture of cardboard. As for our dine in experience, they only have one menu to order from and we had to ask for it. They were out of cups and we had to ask for plates when the salad came (and then forks). They apologized for being out of things and very limited on drinks. Like I said, pizza crust was really tasteless and Pizza Pizza at Little Caesar's tasted 100% better. Staff were really nice though. Update: be careful on what you post or owner will attack you. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. I agree with the other reviews- the sausage is the best (I ate all the pieces on my side before we warmed it up!) and the rim of the crust is too big. Also order extra sauce- ours was a little light on the sauce. So glad I checked Yelp before we ordered from our usual place! We ordered it online and picked it up on our way home. Yummy! So glad new pizza place opened up in tigard. The crust is just right thickness ( this is NY style crust, so it's perfectly thin), and they don't overdo the toppings. Online always have cheese pizza (not your typical cheese pizza) offer for $13 for extra large, so I always add that on to my order. Most places I need toppings to make the pizza but Rovente doesn't need it. The chewy, tasty thin crust is so good. Rovente Pizzeria is a hidden gem tucked away on Pacific Hwy. If you have not been yet please do yourself a favor and come to this establishment. It was my first time going this week, and I went with my friends recommendation which was the Pepperoni Pizza. I added my little twist to it and instead of there normal red sauce I went with the spicy one and it did not disappoint, the sauce was not overwhelmingly spicy but it did have a mild kick to it and the flavor was great. The pizza is light, thin, and has a great crust. You can tell they use quality ingredients here. The service was quick in and out transaction since I ordered pick up, and the store is very clean with plenty of seating if you ever wanted to eat with your family there. We were first doubting if we should go because they are on the expensive side for pizza. But I'm so glad we went!! The pizza is so good!! The the pizza thickness is in between a Costco pizza and a mod pizza. The bottom is super crispy. The bacon bits and pepperoni were baked till slightly crispy. The pizza is in no way soggy and literally baked till perfection. Recommend eating it there for extra freshness. Hoped the sauce was a tiny bit thicker but it was still very good. A very nearby joint for pickup in Tigard so we thought we'd give it a try. Their online deal is great but ordinary walk-in prices are high, especially for what's a pretty average pie. This is clearly meant to be a takeaway place--very clean looking, bright and austere with limited seating and few beverage options, all in bottles/cans. No beer or wine. No cheese or chile pepper shakers on tables. Had to ask for both and they tried to give us tiny packets of each. For two large pies and a calzone and a salad. Really??? Also had to ask for paper plates and utensils even though we had told them we were eating it there. They were nice, but I sense that the owner may have instructed them to be stingy. Crust is adequate but not great. It's bland and not as sturdy or chewy as it should be. It would benefit hugely from more kneading and more salt. It wouldn't take much to achieve a dramatic improvement. Relatively thin crust, which is what we always prefer, but it's cooked too briefly and/or their oven is not nearly hot enough. It lacked any meaningful crispness or toastiness, despite explicitly ordering both pizzas well-done. That means the thinness ends up being a serious liability--limp and gets soggy if you add any veg at all. (We were literally the only customers to set foot in the place for well over an hour at 3pm on a Sunday, so it's not because they were rushing.) I'd hate to see what comes out if not requesting well-done. Or maybe the workers just have not been thoroughly trained? Too bad, because thinner crusts are great to find but it's pointless if it's not crisp. Their spicy sauce is very good and actually has a bit of a kick. Would for sure get this one every time. We found the regular sauce to be almost inedible--so sweet it's almost like ketchup. Luckily, we only got that in our calzone, so it was somewhat disguised by all the other ingredients. Not recommended. Toppings were all fresh and in appropriate amounts. Sausage is excellent. Fresh and generously sized salad with plenty of toppings, but their Italian dressing seems to be bottled (like wishbone?) and is not delicious. Maybe the Greek is better? We'll have to give it a try. Bottom line: It's on the way home from work, so we'll probably will try it again for the online takeaway deal. Hopefully it'll actually be cooked to well-done when we order it that way. If so, I'll consider an upgrade to four stars. read more

Solid pizza spot on 99W. The shop appears pretty new so it's nice and clean. The staff was friendly over the phone when I placed a pickup order, and they were equally friendly in person when I arrived to pickup the pizza. The pizza is NY style, we ordered a cheese pizza and the combination. The crust was great consistency and very tasty. I only ate the combination so I can't speak to the cheese pizza. The combination was very tasty, good amount of cheese to sauce ratio and like I said, I really liked the crust. It's close to my house so I'd definitely go back and use this as my regular spot when I'm craving pizza. read more

Rovente's pizzas are very tasty and the crust is really good, BUT they don't make it easy to order their pizzas! You have to go online to order! I called and was told to do it online as they don't take orders over the phone!! I was told if I couldn't do the order online to call back to order!?! What?!?! They opened this pizza store where a ton of older folks live, work, buy food. They are missing a huge segment of business. I used to get a pizza, have it double cut and take it to the "Happy Hour" where I live. Need to find another good pizza spot that actually wants our business. read more

Rovente had been our go-to pizza delivery for years when living in NE. We were very excited to learn there's one in Tigard when moving here a year ago. Just as good as the one on the Eastside!
