New to the area and looking for a go-to pizza spot. As I walked into this joint, the smell hit me immediately, and I told myself maybe I had found my spot. Dude behind the counter greeted me. I got a few things. It was Friday night, pizza night with the family. I got a pepperoni pie, a chicken pie, and a Hawaiian pie. Always have to try places wings as well. I thought the wings were very good; they only have the one buffalo option, but I liked them. The pies just really lacked flavor. Nothing to the sauce, they were just blah. I was disappointed. We were excited to try Rovente Pizzeria in Beaverton. Ordered a couple pizzas online and set the pick up time a little bit later than ASAP would've been. Arrived at the pick up time and the pizzas were ready and stream was billowing out of the boxes. Unfortunately, we weren't knocked out by the pizza. The overall consensus was that it was a little bland, and the crust was thin but had no crisp. It's most likely just a style of pizza that we're not looking for. Like I mentioned, the pizzas were obviously very fresh. It's just not what we're looking for in a pizza. I do hope they continue to run a very successful business. This is a very good size GF pizza! This is a medium so it fed two of us with left overs. I liked the crust, just the right amount of greasy The topping were so good. clean place only 6 chairs available one thing i HATE was how this place only had one employee working in the morning there are TONS AND TONS of orders and he is scrambling to take orders give out food make it and put it in the oven. Mind you he did a GREAT job of all of it in a timely manner but nobody should ever have to keep a buisness running all by themselves you gotta keep employees happy too and some places forget that. I would love to see more than one person working next time i go. But i have to say this man was the friendliest guy my whole family agreed he deserves another person working with him so he can keep that up. read more

My last work event they forgot a pizza I ordered and they brought me the pizza in record time along with a 6 pack of soda. My team really likes the chicken pizza but Im a fan of the Red Hot Italian pizza so good. Those two pizzas always get ordered and I usually throw in something different in the order for everyone to try. They also have gluten free crust for one of my co-workers that has a gluten allergy. Back around the pandemic hit, my housemates and I received a flyer for Rovente Pizza Tigard. We figured we'd give it a try, and man. We were floored. This pizza is GOOD. Fast forward to now, my husband and I moved into a new apartment that happens to be right next to Rovente Beaverton! The best news. Rovente pizza is high quality. The crust is soft, chewy, and crunchy, all at the same time. The toppings are fresh, and the flavor combos are spot on. Crust was a beautiful golden color, a little crisp on the outside, somewhat chewy inside. Generous portions of toppings. Sauce may have been spread a touch heavier than what I have found at other pizza makers around Portland; however, it was delicious, with a garlicky and slightly spicy flavor. Pepperoni was a little crispy at the edges. Since this was only my first time there, I'll try them again to gauge their consistency. However, I was quite impressed with their pizza. We went here for lunch. It was smaller than I thought it would be. I assume because in an apartment complex most people do take out as seating was very limited. We found a folded table hidden away so we sat there. We ordered a slice of pizza and a calzone. The calzone was full of yummy vegetables but I think the crust was overcooked as it was hard. The nice thing was my husband and I were sharing, and the man working over heard me tell my husband "let me know if you want some sauce," and he brought us another thing of sauce which I thought was very thoughtful. Ordered a pizza and a drink through Grub Hub. The pizza was delivered without the drink. I caught the driver before he left and asked where the drink was- he said they didn't give it to him and I should call for a refund. I called and told them what happened. I was told I would be refunded for the drink. After a few minutes of silence, I asked if he needed my name or card number- he said no and that the refund was completed. The refund was never received. I visit Beaverton frequently. Always trying something new, But when ordering food, the expectation is to order something with great flavor and fresh ingredients. Which is why I lean towards local establishments. they normally take pride in their product. What I picked up was a pizza that was way past its prime. some of the ingredients on the meat pizza were not fresh, sausage seemed like it was rewarmed from yesterdays leftovers. Crust was stale and hard. As for flavor, it was ok. Overall it Just didn't seem there is pride in quality of product. read more

Rovente is maybe the best pizza restaurant around. Their delivery drivers are always friendly and helpful and their pizza is outstanding. We order from them a lot. Like, a couple times per month since they opened (and quite often when they had locations far away from us). We had a couple of subpar experiences with food that didn't meet our expectations. The second time things were really bad. So I called them to find out why. I spoke with a manager named Kevin. He really took care of us. He recognized our dedication as a customer and showed appreciation for that. He also said they had lots of new folks working and wanted to make sure we didn't leave because they were still learning. He said the next order was on them and that he'd personally make or monitor our order to make sure it was up to their standards. Then he delivered. Our next order was amazing. AND he was friendly/empathetic through the entire experience. Never once was I made to feel bad for bringing it to their attention. I'm very friendly with folks when things go bad because people don't deserve venom for mistakes. All the same, managers can be apathetic or exhausted of complaining customers. Kevin was none of that. He cared and wanted to make things right. I really appreciated that. read more

Very unpleasant experience. Floor was sticky with spilled soda as you walked in. No one in entire place except counterperson. I stood & waited 7 minutes while they were preparing an order. Never was acknowledged & was finally asked for my order it was with a heavy sigh on her part. Ordered one slice which was ridiculously priced at $4 for a small cheese. She then heated it up for approximately 30 seconds & gave me my barely tepid slice. I should have walked out at that point but I had already waited too long. Shared a pie with a friend, cheese and combo. Really tasty, excellent crust, not overly oily sausage. The sausage actually came across very fresh, perfectly crumbly. Beaverton cannot be trusted to provide pizza of its own. Beloved Italian institutions in this town basically serve cornmeal-crusted Boboli with heavy doses of black olives, artichoke hearts and ranch. And that's the independents: Beaverton relies heavily on national and state chains that are an abomination to anyone who claims to love pizza. When your main attractions are tap lists and ease of ordering, it's clear where pizza rests on that pyramid of priorities. Portland is saving this town's hide when it comes to pizza. Ex Novo taught Beaverton that Detroit-style can be a quick and easy solution to bad bar pies. Sizzle Pie clears out the chowderheads who've never been to a pizza stand in their lives and caters to folks who just want a quality slice and a soda/beer that they can eat on the go. Rovente exists right in that sweet spot of great middle-of-the-road Portland chains like Hotlips, Pizzicato and Atlas. It isn't going to run Apizza Scholls, Dimo's, Lovely's or Escape From New York out of business any time soon, but it isn't going to make you hate yourself as much as the pizza-adjacent offerings from Schmizza, Fultano's, Abby's, Pietro's or Bellagio's will. It's a fantastic everyday pizza shop, and the residents of these new apartments lucked out. The fact that you can take it over to Portland Cider Company doesn't hurt, either. Rovente--along with Pizzicato and Sizzle Pie--are making Beaverton a great town for grabbing a slice. Save that trip to Giovanni's for some pasta or tiramisu: There's better pizza out there. read more

Most of the delivery pizza in Beaverton is not too good and some is awful. When we learned that these folks delivered and had good reviews, it was worth a try. Ordering was good. It felt like they hired someone and actually paid them a decent wage; they were clear and helpful and careful. When it arrived we were very pleased: it was a little early, reasonably priced, and they delivered to us even though we were technically just outside the area. Partner liked their cheese pizza and I liked my pepperoni with the spicy sauce, plus the garlic cheese breadsticks were great. The only drag was a small one and came later: this pizza just doesn't reheat well, perhaps because it has such thin crust. What is a positive for dinnertime doesn't work so well later. So we will in the future just order what we can eat that evening--but we will be doing so again. read more
