The people here are so knowledgeable and calm! The nurses helped my five year old feel calm and confident to get her first piercing. They suggested different earrings based on the age of my daughter, which I so appreciate. The nurses could tell my daughter was nervous so they got her an apple juice and had her sit on my lap. It was very caring and easy. The only reason I'm giving four stars is it is sooooo expensive. Like almost unaffordable. You need to budget that their earring price is per one earring not a pair! My sister in law and I went in today to get our ears pierced and we had a wonderful experience with Nurse Lauren! We went as walk ins, though they were luckily able to accommodate us, as we went during one of the slower periods of the day. We both opted to do needle piercing which is $35 per ear, and then we picked out our jewelry from their wide selection. When it came time to do the piercing, Nurse Lauren explained the whole process to us in detail and made sure we got all of our questions answered. I was a little nervous going into it but she eased all my worries and talked me through everything step by step. It was overall a super smooth process and I love how my lobe piercing turned out. Outside of piercing, they also sell a wide variety of earrings for purchase, I was tempted to purchase some but decided to save that for my next visit. This has got to be the cutest place ever. We stopped by on Friday night because my sister has been wanting to get her ear re-pierced and it was not busy. The ladies quickly greeted us and one of them came over to ask us what we needed done. The employee was very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us the rundown and all the info my sister needed to know. Booking the apt was easy, fast, and she was in a chair in no time. The employee then took her time finding the right earing placement, had my sister double confirm it was good to go, and bam my sisters ear was re-pierced. The space itself was very clean and it had a very happy vibe. The décor and aesthetic they have going on is very cute. I took my 7 year old daughter here to get her first piercing and we really loved some parts and disliked others. The fact that it's registered nurses doing the piercing is amazing! Our nurse Sam was really patient, kind and caring. My daughter was really scared and she made sure she went slow and made her comfortable. The things we disliked would be the pricing (about $150 total and my friend paid $284) and the red haired front desk woman was really not nice. She was impatient when my daughter needed to use the restroom right before she was to be pierced. When my daughter was struggling, she was in the corner with another woman pointing and talking about her. Really awful by her and you could get pierced cheaper at a tattoo shop!! read more

Do NOT come here if you're looking for affordable--or even reasonably priced--piercing. I just wanted to get both my earlobes pierced and walked out paying about $180...not including tip. They encourage you to come back and get the backings more fitted after swelling comes down - $25 PER EAR. I went in thinking it was free, then ended up paying $57 with tip for a service that was like 30 second..just to change the backings. There are so many other piercing shops in the area that don't charge you per ear unlike this place. You're pretty much just paying for the aesthetics and jewelry that is mid quality. I only came here because I was in the area but I regret it so bad because I feel like I got robbed. Almost $250 for just two simple earlobe piercings. read more

My daughter had the best experience at Rowan with Zaira as her piercing nurse! She's been excited to get her first piercing and has been talking about it for the last few months. We scheduled an appointment online and it only took a few minutes for Zaira to get set up. Everything went so well, and with the assistance of nurse Sam as a friendly distraction while the actual piercing took place my daughter she said she barely felt anything at all. You will get some aftercare instructions and a certificate of bravery and the cleaning spray they recommend is sold separately from the cost of the earrings and piercing. Also, note that when you pay on the tablet and get to the tip screen, the cost of the piercing is not separated from the other fees so put that mental calculation in mind if you do not wish to add tip to things that aren't actually a service such as the cost of the cleaning spray and earrings. It was such a positive experience and I highly recommend anyone to see either nurse Zaira or nurse Sam for any piercing needs. It's been about a week since she got her piercing and it is looking great and is healing up so nicely. After the appointment her ear was a little pink but the inflammation went away in a few hours and we've had no complications whatsoever. read more

I sprayed with the solution they sold me on my piercing 3x a day for 3 weeks. Ear still got infected. There's a hard lump where the piercing is when I took it out today. Husband had to squeeze the puss out and I'm hoping with some antibiotic ointment the infection will clear up. Expensive piercing that was not worth it. Previous piercing was at a tattoo/piercing shop and that went just fine. read more

Can't speak highly enough of the experience that my mom and I had here yesterday! Sam was our nurse and she was so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. We had a ton of questions and she answered every one with patience, and was very accommodating for my mom who was feeling nervous about the appointment - one of her lobe holes had closed up during Covid and she needed it re-pierced; Sam was so calm and reassuring and put my mom at ease. It was also super kind of Sam to offer to put on a mask while she pierced my mom's ear since she (my mom) is immunocompromised and thus high risk. We saw another customer come in later who was in a wheelchair and the nurse who helped her out seemed similarly kind and accommodating. I was really impressed with how inclusive and lovely this place felt! I was getting second lobe piercings and I really appreciated how Sam took her time getting the placement just right. Everything was sterile and clean and made this germaphobe feel super safe :) Finally, the jewelry they offer is all hypoallergenic and safe and, best of all, super duper cute. The gal who rang me up at the counter was also super friendly and awesome. This was an A+++ experience, I have only good things to say about it, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
