Do not go for eyebrows unless you want to leave looking like you sharpies them on. Very bad experience and left looking terrible. I got a thread and tint and never in my life have I ever experienced such bad customer service. I expressed that I was unhappy with the results and instead of trying to fix it I was told that she never has been told that someone wasn't happy with the results. Now I'm home scrubbing my pitch black boxy eyebrows off and it's not coming off. Mind you I'm sandy blonde and now have boxy uneaven black eyebrows. read more

Sadly, I have to write a bad review. This used to be a very inviting and friendly shop but whoever was in charge the day I purchased incense gave incredibly bad customer service. The only service she provided was to ring my purchase up then proceeded to visibly get upset that I did not tip her for ringing me up (they have a tip option on the screen). It was so evident that my daughter even mentioned it on the way out of the store. You know, this place used to be great. You come in and get a nice henna tattoo that stayed nice, and it was done by nice artists. I am not bashing on the artists, I'm sure they're lovely people, but the henna quality has gone down. I got henna cones from this location a couple of days ago because I was in a pinch and ran out of my own batch, and after applying it like I should and keeping it on for a little over 5 hours, this was the result. The dark henna tattoo above was from a batch I mixed myself and did A WEEK ago. Henna quality is not good. It smelled a little off, incredibly runny, and it leaked out of the top of the cone as I was using it. I'm disappointed for sure. read more

In preparation for my wedding, I was looking for a local henna artist who could do the difficult job of 'filling in' my existing half-sleeve tattoo, and extend it to my wrist in the most natural, elegant way possible. Yelp led me to Henna Shoppe, and I'm so glad it did! The owner responded to my messages quickly and asked for photos of my arm. She said she could do it no problem, just free-styling, and gave me a great quote. (In the weeks leading up to my wedding, this felt like a large victory). We scheduled a test sitting to see how the ink would look, because we used the jagua kind, which takes a few days to develop but then looks bright and blends in well with tattoo ink. For my test day, one of the girls in the shop assisted me and was very kind. The store worked around my packed wedding week schedule, and when the day came for my real appointment (3 days before wedding to allow time to develop), I was SHOCKED to find the owner herself had arrived to do the job herself! WOW. What a joy it was to watch a pro in action. She effortlessly designed geometrics and flowers into my arm. It is clear that she has done many weddings before. My niece and bridesmaid got small matching tattoos as well, and loved them. Overall my henna became a highlight of the wedding, and I received compliments all day. I am even using the photos as a basis for how I want to eventually extend that part of my sleeve tattoo. And as if that was not enough, the store itself is a gold mine. I had spent months thinking about what to get my friends who were traveling far for the wedding, and I found every single gift in that store, from precious stones to dream catchers and long flowy dresses. Went in for a cute ankle henna tattoo and was not disappointed. I asked the tattoo artist to create something original yet feminine. I didn't look as she painted it on and was so pleased with the result. While I was walking around the mall, some of the tattoo came off so I popped back in for a touch up no problem. My husband also had his eyebrows threaded for the first time. The woman who did it really knows how tp shape brows while still keeping them natural looking. I was impressed. If you're looking for legitimate crystals, do your research before coming into this store. The reps aren't the most knowledgeable and will still try to sell you on something they know nothing about. I get it's their job, but still. When I was told they had citrine, I got excited and took a look at the options the lady showed me. Unfortunately none of them were real citrine, but she was trying very hard to tell me it was pure. I knew just by looking at them that they were actually cooked amethyst, a common cheap practice to sell fake citrine. I don't believe she had ill intentions, I just think the workers don't actually know what they're talking about. It's all sales at the end of the day. After enjoying a meal at rainforest cafe me and my bestfriend went wandering around the mall, we walked past this little place a few times before deciding to go in. We were warmly welcomed by a beautiful lady who was hired earlier this week. She was incredibly helpful, she found us pieces that complimented us so well, she brought our stuff to a dressing room and waited just incase we needed a different size. I commented on how living in WA made it difficult to get clothes that don't need a bra, she shared her life hacks with me and we bonded. Threading is an ancient method of hair removal and it really is the most effective method of shaping beautiful eyebrows and removing unwanted facial hair. Unlike other hair removal techniques there is no burning, peeling or chemicals that irritate the skin. Threading is the most precise hair removal method to date and the hair even grows back thinner and slower! My mother told me about threading a long time ago but I still like to get my brows waxed I do like the fact that the hair grows back slower and unlike tweezing where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair. Only $10 and they take walk in's Loyalty program = 1 stamp per service for every 5 you get a free $20 henna service or free brow threading Ladies were very professional & friendly ! Came here with my boyfriend this last Saturday and walked by the shop as they were finishing up with a large group of young girls. My boyfriend asked me if I'd like to go in and get a henna tattoo for myself. At first I was hesitant, but after his encouragement, we walked in. We were approached by several helpful girls all asking if we needed anything, and we took a look at their book full of designs. The designs are merely helpful suggestions if you have no idea what you want, which was my situation. But one girl also told us that you can tell them how much you would like to spend on the tattoo and the artist will gladly come up with a design for you. So I requested a $20 tattoo with a floral pattern as opposed to a more geometric look. It's been about two days since and the tattoo is still dark and pretty! read more
