His ineptitude was imminently obvious, he would look up how to videos on YouTube before charging market rate for expert repairs, leaving me personally stranded twice in two different vehicles, and I personally watched him break 2 other people's cars while working on them, incurring untold additional cost in the process As far as I can tell, after renaming the shop to his name (after 20+ years of building a brand, strange he failed in the larger business world) he destroyed the good reputation and goodwill of his dads long running customers and ran the shop into the ground. Red Lion Motors is down a dirt rd on the owners property in Leander off RM 1431. Greg Potts is a master mechanic and taught Auto repair at ACC for twenty years. He is thoughtful and deliberate , uses the net for complete updates on every aspect of repair. My first visit was simply for an oil change. Greg sold me on the benefits of synthetic motor oil and I am glad that he did. My Silverado had one valve that would be noisy for the first few minutes of start up but that noise has gone away. The motor also runs a few degrees cooler since the change. There is no fancy waiting room here but you will feel confident that you and your vehicle are being well cared for.
