Shady Prices & Staff is how I'd describe this place…read more If you want to go to a place where you will be tricked into services you didn't ask for or be shady on the actual price of service to make it look like you got a deal... this is the place for you. I sadly came across Randy who is hands down a used car salesman. People sitting around the garage sitting around doing nothing, tells you all you need to know. I understand the competitiveness of these shops but truly this place is not trustworthy of anyones time or money. I was told by the woman at the front desk, this location was under new management but even the owner as she pointed out to me as he walked is questionable at best. Under new management doesn't mean necessarily best. Hard pass. You know it's bad when you take time out our day to write a review on such a place. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. I am glad I went to Christian Brothers instead, driving from Round Rock is worth it for a reputable company.

We had several thousand dollars worth of work done on our very old 2005 Dodge Durango. It needed a variety of things done the biggest ticket items being the air conditioning, along with many battery problems that once we got the vehicle back had not been corrected. The air conditioning items that had been installed lasted for 2 days. When we took our vehicle back the solution offered was to put a new ac compressor in which would be another 2+K$$$ I feel we were "taken to the cleaners". I'm so disappointed. We prefer to support local business but now my thoughts it shifted to buyer beware.

I took my 2021 Subaru to AEW in December of 2023 to have the windshield washer hose replaced. The…read morewindshield washer fluid was leaking out of the car. They determined that a rodent had eaten part of the hose! So they replaced the hose to the front washer and told me they didn't know where to route the hose to the back window washer. Kurt said it was working fine on the front window now, and I told him the back window could wait. When I got home, I popped the hood and noticed there was no washer fluid in the reservoir, so I poured the gallon of new fluid in. I went into the house to tell my wife I was home, and then came back out about 10 minutes later to discover almost all the new fluid was running out into my garage and down the driveway. I called Kurt and he said he couldn't understand how that was happening, but he would "get back with me" to arrange for an inspection. Move ahead 6 MONTHS LATER, still no call back from A&E. I try to email them through the web site they list on Yelp, and it says the web site no longer exists! I try to email him, and the email bounces back. So I place a request for service here on YELP again, and 3 or 4 other places answer, but not A&E. So my only thought is that they sold the place and it's under new management? I don't know, but they did NOT fix the problem, they never contacted me again as promised, and the did not respond to the request sent to them through YELP. I ended up fixing the problem myself for $8.00. The second line, that he did not fix and that he told me "would not matter if I don't want to use the rear window washer" had a big hole it as well. When I filled up the reservoir, the weight of the fluid in the full tank caused the water to start syphoning out through that hole in the tube - once it was low enough (i.e. almost empty), it would stop and there would be enough fluid left to wash the front windows several times. They were all very friendly the first time I visited and I thought we had a good working relationship, but it turns out they didn't want to fool with the car although they really did NOT fix my problem and I was never able to contact them again. I don't know what their problem is, but I cannot recommend them as a reliable automobile service.

An illuminated engine light and oil pressure below operating standards, I decided to take this to the dealership. Only newer models and sublet that work to local repair facilities, which started me down a rabbit hole. Luckily in my searches I came across this gem in Liberty Hill called J&Z Auto Works. Friendly, and they tell it as it is. This engine is dead and will need a replacement after extensive diagnostics. Then later we were able to come up with a work order that would replace the entire engine with one that has lower miles. It is cheaper to replace than to re manufacture the existing one. A few days of it being in the shop I got a call, "Your truck is done!". I raced over to check it out and was amazed at how clean it looked in the engine bay after this used engine was put in. I grabbed the keys and turned it on and it was purrring like a kitten! After 4 months now I decided to write this review, simply because it is deserved. These guys are straight forward and know Chrysler well! The whole build was explained from the ground up and I feel the utmost transparency from this experience. As I said earlier, a gem, and a rarity when it comes to auto repair.
