I wouild buy new lug nuts but not pay them $$$ to put them on. I know this is just minor, but if they treat me like that over something little, I don't even want to think about any major wrork.

I managed to fix the driver side window by myself. A few days later, my check engine light came on. They then replaced something that would've been the cause of the hesitation while accelerating (but I thought they did that the first time??), and I asked them again to look at my passenger door window due to leaking. They did comp the diagnostic fee for this since they've already looked at it, which I did appreciate. They reported the passenger door leaking was due to an issue with the sunroof , and that everything was now working properly. I leave, my sunroof still doesn't go back all the way. I called Nissan and they have me bring it in again. This time they insisted that that is as far back as it opens. I've had this car for five years, and the sunroof has always opened more than it is opening right now. But I guess I'm the crazy one. I will not be returning.

The finance person was also very professional and friendly. The neutral - took longer than expected, but I guess this is how the process is when ordering. There was some miscommunication/lack of disclosure on a military discount that we found out day before closing did not apply unless we used their financing. Also, I was disappointed that my near total brand loyalty over decades only was worth $500 discount, but that was what it was. The bad - Took delivery of a new Lexus Rx350 yesterday that had been ordered in early December. We were told by our salesperson that the car would arrive on Tuesday and they would need a couple days to recon and sticker the car. We made an appointment for Saturday. After arriving at our appointment on time, our salesperson was busy with different customers. At first, this bothered me because we had an appointment, but the situation resulted in us going right in with the finance person which ended up speeding the closing process. After the closing, we were taken to a special glassed in room where they process the final delivery. Unfortunately, the temporary plates were not on, and the rim was put on upside down when installed later. The technician did fix it promptly once brought to his attention. Then we moved to the technical part - when trying to log into the app, a different person's name was in my profile - very disconcerting. I was helped through correcting. Once ready for the actual tech support part, our salesperson was available and did that part. The inside of the car had several strings and stickers hanging off that had not been properly removed during the recon process that they had 5 days to complete. Also, the vehicle was quite dusty. The salesperson even commented that she would need to speak with that department about how poorly they delivered this vehicle. Overall - I have the vehicle I want and love. I found the process often frustrating with no real alternative option - Berlin City is the only Lexus dealer in the state, and I felt like the customer service was overly complacent. The dusty car with stickers and hanging strings was a huge let down. We have gone out of state before, but that comes with its own issues. All that being said, the sales and finance staff was super nice; however, the experience needs to match the demeanor.

A very nice young man named, Ryan, signed me in and got things going for me. All that work took a while. I waited in a very comfortable area with comfy chairs, tables, coffee, cold water and a big TV. When It was done, Ryan. came and explained everything they did to the car. I am an older woman and do not use cell phone except for emergency use and am totally not tech savvy. Ryan helped me with my phone to do an application, find my cell phone number, find my email, and spent a great deal of time with all my needs. He was not just nice and friendly.....he was a very kind young man who then put me in my car told me what to expect with new brakes and got me on my way. Given how egregious my experience has been with them (on multiple occasions) I feel the need to warn others. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED- DON'T GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!! First, I have had my car, a Honda CRV, inspected by them two years in a row and they have "failed" it both times. Invariably, I'm handed a laundry list of items that MUST be fixed to pass inspection totaling several thousands of dollars. I was incredulous that the car needed this work and took it to an independent mechanic. (The car was working well and receives its recommended routine maintenance without fail.) Both times, I took it to an independent mechanic for an inspection and both times it passed without any recommended repairs. When I discussed this with the independent mechanic what Berlin City recommended and that they did not pass it, he was speechless. He told me one of the items that was listed as mandatory for passing inspection by Berlin City (I gave him the paperwork) was not actually mandatory and he was in disbelief that they suggested replacing this part as it was not needed. I should have stopped going to Berlin City at that point as it is clear that they deceive as a way to exploit their customers to make money. But I did have the car serviced last year with them and a part replaced by them. They guaranteed it for one year (told me I had a one-year warranty). Before the year was up, the check emission light came back on and I took it back in for them to look at. Turns out it was the same part that failed again. Do you think Berlin City honored their warranty? Of course not! Why might you ask? After calling for several days in a row without a response from them (when the car was still under warranty), they waited until it was just past a year to call me back. At that point they told me the part was no longer under warranty! Unbelievable. These folks are as sleazy as they come. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your Honda service. They have lied/deceived me on multiple occasions!

Just as important to me is the follow up; where I needed to have assistance with resetting my preferences, I was offered the assistance of the "genius" to guide me through this as some things had changed with the computer upgrade. I also provided my payment information for the deposit. The next day, I was told that the order could not be processed unless I added a $2,600 option. This requirement was not enforced by BMW's official configurator or the dealer's system, and neither the sales representative nor management flagged it when approving the build. When I asked the dealership to honor the agreement or absorb the additional cost, they declined, offering only to cover part of the sales tax. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Maine Attorney General's office. The AG noted they could not mediate since the transaction did not complete, but they have forwarded the matter to the FTC for review. While this particular issue no longer appears with the 2026 BMW configurator, my experience with the dealership was disappointing. Even with signed paperwork, written confirmation, and my payment details on file, they would not stand behind the agreement. I believe they engaged in unfair trade practices. I encourage future buyers to proceed cautiously and confirm all build requirements in advance.

The most recent vehicle I purchased was an Infiniti QX model SUV. Aside from the Infiniti itself being a quirky, often weird-acting car, the service at Bill Dodge has been routinely uneven at best and sometimes, outright sketchy. On a visit this past summer, I was told I suddenly needed new tires.. on a 2-3 year old car that has never been on a long trip and with low mileage. The pressure to change all tires was quite aggressive and they seemed to prey on your sense of safety. The tires for my vehicle are specialty, very pricey and they insisted I needed four new ones. What they were showing me wasn't adding up but I went ahead and did it anyway. On my last visit just before Christmas, I suddenly, SOMEHOW needed new brakes and brakepads. ALL around. WHAT?!? No way. The car is sophisitcated. It tells me when to to go in for service, where I've been, when one of my tires is just barely off pressure... and yet, nothing was heard or notified or even remotely suspect that I would need new breaks. There is literally a new service manager each time I go in there, and the most recent woman did her best to hard-sell me until I insisted on speaking with the technician. After they'd both told me they had inspected all of the brakes, I caught them in a lie when I asked if they'd taken at least one tire off to measure them correctly. They all looked around at each other because I'd backed them into a corner. After telling me they had done so, they finally admitted that it wasn't true. They in fact had never taken off the tires. That lead to a response from me they hadn't anticipated. I ended up speaking to the dealership manager. - Long story short, I went ahead and changed all the brakes/brake pads just to know it was done since Bill Dodge had introduced doubt in my mind. They paid for half of it, I paid the other half. Either way, Bill Dodge is no longer my family of dealerships. Like most care sales people, those commercials they run about you being "family" and how "trusting" they are is complete bullchet. Don't trust them and never, ever trust any car dealer. Ever.

Instead, they ignored my instructions, performed unauthorized work, and billed me $384.68 for diagnostics that didn't even meet the class action requirements (failed to do the KSDS bearing clearance test). When I disputed the bill, management became hostile. Patrick Demers threatened me with immediate storage fees, and they refused to release my vehicle to the AAA driver until I paid for the unauthorized work. I was forced to pay under duress just to get my car back. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB and the Maine Attorney General regarding these predatory billing practices and violations of the Maine Unfair Trade Practices Act. Stay away if you value honest service and consumer rights.

My 4th experience was no exception. They reached out to let me know my lease was expiring and I called and spoke to Anna about downsizing to a Sestos. Anna let me know she was new to the company, but not to worry because she had great people above her and it showed. Both Scott and Amanda provided Anna with some guidance without disrupting the process or making it seemed like she was a novice. I've been at my job for 17 years and I am lucky enough to work in an environment where asking questions is encouraged. Obviously Bill Dodge Kia shares the same philosophy. Anna was a pure joy to work with. It's as if she knew who we were when we walked in the door. She was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable and genuine. You've got a keeper in her. Scott was fantastic showing me all of the finance details and making sure I truly understood everything. When closing out the deal, Amanda was great in helping Anna while also being very friendly and engaging. When we got in the car, Anna left no i undotted and no t uncrossed. Even with this being my 4th Kia, I learned a ton about how this model differs from our last one. I hear nightmare stories all the time from people having bad experiences buying and leasing cars. Quite honestly, I brag about Bill Dodge Kia because I've never had anything but great experiences with them. Something else to know, and it speaks to integrity. We traded in a 2022 Kia Sportage with every bell and whistle known to man. We downsized to a smaller model with a lot less bells and whistles. What I love was that, not once, did Anna or Scott try to convince us to go with a more expensive model or even to stick with a Sportage. Also, they had a few of the same color and model on the lot and Anna put us in one that is two-tone and in our research, we didn't even know it was an option and we LOVE it. It's nice to have a sales team anticipate your wants and needs. Same with Aaron in finance. He saw my history of what add-ons I get and let me tell him what I wanted. This is you you do business.
