P a i n t m a r k e r... to fix the issue or that I could pay out of my pocket to get it powder coated for a mistake they had made? Told me that they would pay a certain amount but still charge me 250 something crazy... anyways ya nah go else where.

Finding mechanics to work on bikes older than 10 years is hard enough already but what a great place motozone is to get work done. Pricing is very reasonable too. FInding a rear rotor for my 08 GL1800 isnt easy unless i want to drop $912 for an oem one. But after looking through some gently used units and going over which one would be the best Cody took the time to help check them out and advise me which one. ( i know nothing about brakes and rotors and dint want to buy something that potentially had something i couldn't recognize to be bad). So kudos for the time and effort despite how busy they are to help me make sure i purchase the right part even if its not through them. They dont price gouge anything he could have ordered it through ebay for me but told me if so there would be a 20% upcharge and was open and honest about it. First purchase there was smooth and relatively fast on a new Tuono 660. Typical experience and no complaints there. I traded in a bike as well. Next two bikes I mainly was working with Ian. He was awesome and knowledgeable about the bikes and made the transactions smooth, and the best is he is no pressure at all. Didn't get my bikes serviced there since I do that myself, so I can't comment on the service dept. I also like that they don't bother you much when you're just browsing, I hate being asked a million questions when I'm just trying to sit on various bikes and make up my mind. So personally I'm glad no one jumped on me when I first entered.

He said the work was done he just needed to put it back together. I got there to pick it up just as he was finishing. It started right up and sounded normal to me. I was ready to pay and go. Jay apologized but it just wasn't good enough for him. He wanted to keep it another couple of days to change the size jets in the newly installed carburetor. I've now had my bike back for a little over a week and it's running better than ever. It's 18 years old and since I got it 5 years ago it had a little backfire. I took in my 2013 Road King because it was leaking fuel. He knew exactly what the problem was immediately, and explained what needed to be done. His price was very fair, and was able to get the repairs done quickly. When I pulled up to his business, he was cleaning the spokes on the wheels to a chrome shine. I will certainly bring my bike back to him for any repairs. He knows what he's doing and he's very good.
