I came in with my 10yr old looking to purchase a set of e-bikes. They had a nice selection with a range of bikes to choose from. Jack helped us out and he was fantastic. He took the time to determine the intended use of the bikes and explained the different bikes along with their capabilities. To make sure my 10yr old could handle the bike he got to take it for a test ride in the parking lot. Jack again took the time to provide great customer service by demoing the bike and explaining everything from the different functions to how to remove and charge the battery. Be prepared to spend a little more than what you will find online. But the additional cost is worth it as the bike is assembled and ready to ride and includes a warranty. read more

There are other bike shops closer to where I live but I had passed Bike World a few times and wanted to check them out. To my amazement they were open 7 days a week so I was able to bring mine in on a Sunday. They have a pretty good variety of bikes from fixed gear, beach cruisers, electric, and more. They have the essentials like pumps, lubricants, and even parts. When I brought my road bike in I got a tune up and had my handlebars wrapped. This was a month ago. I thought the wrap was done poorly and called to complain. They said to bring it back in. Frank took a look at it and brought it to the back without a hassle. I was called shortly later that the bike was ready. Frank did an excellent job on the wrap and even gave a me a quick lesson on the gear shifting which I desperately needed as I'm new to biking. I've gone to this place 3 times and the first time I went.I bought a bicycle for$1000.... they told me I could come in if I needed anything to do with the bike that they would help me.... i've been back twice after that for simple things and they always tell me they don't have time for me.... this last time, all I needed was for them to put a chain on my bike, which takes about 3 minutes and they refuse to help me.... i understand that sometimes you get busy... but the way you approach the situation is very unprofessional and not welcoming at all... luckily I found a place on my side of town and now I don't have to drive thirty minuto this place to get denied.... they have time to sell you.A bike but never to help you with your issues..... read more

I really enjoyed coming here to shop for a new bicycle. The proprietor Jack is very knowledgeable about bicycles and takes time with customers to measure them for the right fit on a bicycle. The prices on new bikes were also very fair at Bike World. Whereas some other bike stores in Las Vegas will want to push you into buying a four figure bicycle, Bike World offers practical bicycles most anyone would be happy with for less. Called the store to see if they had any e-bikes in stock. Spoke with Frank and he advised us they had a few brands available. They could also order specific colors of a brand if we wanted to have it delivered to their store. Came to the store to see if we could test drive the e-bikes. Frank happily assisted us and answered any questions we had about them. We tested two bikes while we were there. The Velotric Discovery 1 and the Velotric Go 1. Both were fun to drive. Both had hub motors and were class 2 bikes, meaning you don't have to pedal to go. Frank was very honest and gave a a good deal. When purchasing a bike here there are no returns but we both were satisfied with our bikes. Also, online prices may be cheaper but because we purchased our bikes through them we had the reliability of their service and the backing of their warranty. Before getting a bike of my own, I asked cyclist friends for recommendations and info and got mixed reviews of this place. It wasn't until staff at another shop recommended I try here for a specific part for my vintage road bike that I came here myself. Thankfully, my experiences have been positive! Shane has helped me on all of my visits and he's been great- helpful and attentive, offered alternate ideas when they didn't have what I needed, and generally made cycle-nerd chit chat with my guy while I looked at locks, lights, and various accessories. Prices here are fairly reasonable and comparable to what I found online, without having a wait or shipping charge. After much e-bike research online I decided to go in person to Bike World. I'm usually an online shopper, but I had read such excellent reviews about Bike World and Frank at the Rainbow location in particular that I decided to just go in there and see what they had. I'm VERY glad I did. Frank is just as excellent in person as the reviews said. He is very knowledgable, patient, and I just felt well taken care of. (Also a shout out to staff member Linda who also helped me when I first walked in. She is also extremely friendly and helped while I was waiting for Frank to finish with another customer.) I went in wanting my first e-Bike, (and actually my first bicycle of any kind in about 15 years). Linda and then Frank spent quite a bit of time with me answering my questions and letting me test drive it in their parking lot. I ended up taking home a Velotric Discover 1 that same day. When you figure in assembly, I spent slightly more in the store than I would have online. However, I feel that it is well worth it to have a local bike shop where I can go for maintenance, adjustments, or whatever I may need in the future. I am extremely happy with the Velotric bike itself after having it for about 3 weeks now by the way. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for an eBike to give Bike World a shot. I was looking to buy my very own bike for the first time and after finding a bike on their website that I liked, I went in to the store. When I arrived, sadly it was not there. I was greeted by Frank, he told me about how COVID impacted the manufacturers limiting their supply and although they didn't have the one I came for, there was one that stood out and caught my eye. I saw this place driving by it one day and came by with my daughters beach cruiser to repair.We had a tiny garage in L.A , with no room to store the bikes.Everytime I would try to park,I would hit the bikes.I bent one of the pedals really bad.So,after dropping off the bike,I was told that a new pedal might be required, but if he could,he would try to straighten out the pedal.Two days later, I get a call informing me that the bike was ready and it was $29.Wow ! I called on the phone inquiring about handlebars stems and as soon as I mentioned I had an E bike/scooter I could tell the tone of the person on the other end changed. So I disregarded and thought it was just me. I was there the day before asking for assistance they told me to bring it in. I brought it in today and they wouldn't even let me in to the store. After asking for a simple stem. I was told to take it to an Escooter shop. All I needed was a simple mountain bike stem. They could've measured it very easily with an Allen wrench instead they sent me on my way with attitude. Do not come here if you have any sort of electrical assisted Bike. Do not go to this place. They failed to disclose all hidden charges. I went to replace two inner tubes for my bicycle, they quoted me the price for 2 thicker tubes ($14.99/piece). When I picked up my bike 2 days later, the bill was $63. All hidden charges were never disclosed or explained. For your reference, REI sells the tube at similar price, but replacement service is free for members and $10/tire for non-member. Walmart sells the same inner tube for less than $10. So I was ripped off and scammed. please learn from me. read more
