There was an accident on the freeway on the way there, which delayed us quite a bit. Tanner Clinic made room for us and made sure that they fit us in even though we were late because they knew that we had a long drive there. I am so impressed with this clinic. I felt so great about my mom going there that I have decided to transfer my pain clinic from Murray. They were very proactive regarding injections that will come in the future for her. They explained everything clearly and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as you walk in, you will feel at home. It was easy to ask questions because they want you to be informed and left plenty of time for us to ask any questions we had. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I anticipate that this will be our clinic for a long time to come and I look forward to having a wonderful relationship with this clinic. If you have been in a pain clinic before, you know how difficult some of these offices are. Tanner Clinic has proved to me that not all pain clinics are negative and there are pain clinics that truly care about your well-being. They're quick to remind you of your outstanding balance but will leave you on hold for 45 minutes hoping you'll hang up, only for them to. Care quality isn't even decent, I gave birth in October in the Lehi location, and the nurse I had was awful. Cause severe birth trauma for me as a first time mom, wish I could remember her name. I've had family try to help me navigate their financial aide and they mention Intermountain isn't even this hard. If you can, go elsewhere.

I missed a call from her nurse as I was working and not able to get to the phone. At 10:05, I returned that call. I was not surprised to hear the nurse was busy and would call me back. I waited and waited. No call. So on Feb 5 at 2:40 P.M I called again. The nurse was busy and again was told as soon as she was done with the patient she was with she would call me. Nothing. Again, no call on Feb 6. On Feb 9, I called once again. I explained to the person answering the call that this was my third time trying to get a hold of someone and my call has not been returned. She put me on hold and checked with the nurse. Busy again. This time she told me that the nurse wanted to be reminded to call me after she was done with her patient. Well, no surprise to me that I did not receive a call. I am not happy with the staff who says they need to have a reminder to call a patient back. I am that unimportant to this staff member that they have to be reminded to call me. So I wait. This is the first time dealing with this particular location. Honestly, I am having a hard time envisioning me returning here. I will wait for an appointment with my PCM at another Ogden Clinic location.

His office manager, Harmony, treats everyone in such a demeaning, arrogant way. They have dishonestly tried to charge me for missed appointments when it was their fault on many occasions. You cannot ever reach Aaron directly and you have to now go through Harmony directly. I've even seen her treat Aaron with complete disrespect. In a world that is full of chaos I don't want to feel this kind of rudeness and dishonesty when seeking medical treatment.

Oftentimes, they don't seem to know what they're doing. Also, a side note. But their new office in Layton smells like someone has been passing gas. The three times I've stopped in this past year. It just wreaks of flatulence. Whoever is working the desk won't acknowledge your existence either until you make it a point to be like, "I need to get checked in please." Just really disappointing. The parking is all the way around the building and you can enter from the front door or the back door and get to the main desk. From check in, you branch out to the door of your physician to wait to be called back. There are main floor offices and upstairs offices as well as a laboratory area with a vaccination/immunization office. I've used both the same day visit options as well as scheduling an appointment with a specific physician or specialist. The walk-in appointments can be a long wait depending on how busy they are. I've never had to wait too long when I have a scheduled appointment. I will keep visiting this location as it is close to my house compared to other options and they have the expertise that I have needed all in house.
