My son drives an Audi A6 which broke down on the side of the highway on a Sunday evening. We got Jason's name from a friend when we ran into issues with our son's 2011 VW Jetta. We had taken it to the dealer because the check coolant light had come on. The dealer told us we needed a new water pump, so we approved that repair. Then the dealer called to tell us we had multiple lights on the dashboard and that coolant had sprayed all over, perhaps ruining the wire harness and sensors. It didn't make sense to us that liquid could damage the wire harness that easily, so we looked for another opinion. We called Jason who told us that he didn't think it made a lot of sense either. We retrieved the car from the dealer and took it to Jason. He performed diagnostics on the car and let us know that there was a fuse missing. He replaced the fuse and the lights went off. Jason did a great job and saved us thousands of dollars for a repair that would not have fixed the problem. I have had too many negative experiences with national auto repair dealers in Overland Park, where I feel I was over sold and recommendations were made that were not necessary.
