I would rather have paid $10 for a new bottle of gel nail polish, rather than $38 for someone else to do it for me. I was expecting a hand massage and cuticle treatment, etc. Perhaps this isn't the norm to get this, but I did at two other establishments. The polish was on my cuticles so when my nails grew, the ridge that was caused snagged things like my hair and my sweaters. I've had my nails done with gel before and the technician would use a tool to clean it off my cuticles. I felt like the appointment was rushed, although when I reached out to her directly, she said that was not the case. The color wasn't even what I picked out. I chose one that was so dark red, it almost looked black. I was encouraged to pick out my own, and when I mentioned that I realized that it wasn't gel, the technician said she could "make it gel." What that really meant was she would choose a gel that most closely matched the color I chose. It was dark red , but not as dark as the one I wanted. Not the same thing. As for the coverage, that wasn't great either. There are spots on my nails where it doesn't look like there was enough polish applied. Also, the salon was dirty. The bottles of nail polish didn't seem to be in any order and many were covered in nail polish that spilled down the outside of the bottles. The place I sat had polish on various table tools holders. There was even an acrylic nail from the previous client next to me. Overall, this was not a great experience. I get from the reviews that this place has a lot of happy regulars, but I will not be one of them.

She is efficient, works with you for what you want and you're in an out if that's what you want. It's a small shop - like three people. So don't expect a fancy receptionist to answer the phone, be sure to leave a message. They're great about getting back to you and working with your schedule. The class is well organized and gives participants many options to make your own 1 pound brick. You also go home with the knowledge to start making your own variety of cold process soaps! Stick with a day spa or other place where there are designated nail people. The person who did the pedicure was very nice, but the polish was not applied correctly and there was minimal filing. I was left with oil all over my legs. And I don't think I have ever been to a place that cuts the cuticles. It increases risk of infection and they should ask beforehand, even if they choose to do it. The website explicitly says that cuticles are pushed back. Cuticle work was not great in other spots. One and done.

I referred a friend to her and my friend ended up moving 2.5 hours away and still makes the trip back to this area just to come to Michelle! You won't be disappointed choosing her as your stylist! The salon is kept neat and tidy as well and everyone is friendly. They have it decorated nicely and the environment provides relaxation. Just the place you want to go when you're being pampered! The prices are comparable, but Michelle's work is far beyond any stylist I've ever used. This is the only place I trust with my hair!
