I've been going to this location for about 6 years now and it has definitely improved with the change in management (last 1 or 2 years?). The sales staff is always very friendly and approachable. This location usually has the shelves stocked full of the products I want and need. Minus one star because they seldom have the platinum rewards bonuses that are sent via email. It's super annoying because I'll come THAT SAME DAY the email is sent and they'll either 1) not have any left in stock or 2) didn't receive a shipment in the first place. It's been so disappointing sometimes that I'd just leave and buy something from Sephora online instead and use my VIB perks there. Corporate needs to do a better job of balancing product supply with their marketing campaigns. There's no point in a platinum perk if no one can redeem it. read more

i came in yesterday to get makeup for my prom, and the staff was SUPER helpful and patient with me. Peyton and Eric were so sweet and walked me through everything because i have NO idea what i'm doing with makeup lol. it was a very welcoming experience and i'm so thankful for them!! read more

I really enjoy coming here. They are a large store so they have lots of options. So many scents, colors and brands. Whether you need hair products, makeup, nail related items or lotions, they most likely have it available. Prices are decent and staff is friendly. read more

Come here if you want to be ignored by ulta staff! First of all, this is the only benefit brow bar close to me. The girl did a job equal to what you would get in the back of a dirty nail salon for 5 dollars..... She didn't even apply product and fill my brows in :( it was apparent she wanted to go home. Not fair to someone who made an appointment. Speaking of appointments I made one for the salon. Staff ignored me waiting at the salon counter 15 minutes past my appointment. They then made me wait an additional 30 min. They made no effort to correct the situation, just offer a generic excuse about someone not canceling their appt and them taking a walk in. Basically, they value walk ins over someone making an appt a week prior. They need more salon and brow bar staff. Terrible service!! read more

First off... I love shopping here. They have my makeup that I like to wear and I don't have to hunt far and wide for it. The only reason I gave them 1 start is because I had booked an appt to get my hair cut. I arrived about 15 min early and they weren't busy so she took me right away. She does the normal stuff like they do at every ulta store which is wash the hair and what not. We got done and I sat down and I told her that I have my normal length for my hair and I have one layer that is considered my "bangs" so I told her I would like a trim on both maybe about my inch or so and also a huge thin out. She cuts my ends and thins my hair out and of course try's to sell the products that she is using on my hair. I wasn't paying to much attention to what she was doing. Then she goes for the blowout. She didn't seemed like she cared too much for my hair and was more worried about what her coworkers were gossiping about. There was an older lady maybe In her 50s and another lady with shorter red hair and they were just fixing their hairs and the stylist that was doing my hair was getting pretty distracted by them. She blows through my hair like I could have pretty much done it myself. She gets done. Cashes me out and I leave. I got home and I straightened my hair and it turns out that she cut the inner part of my hair shorter than the outer part of my hair! I have been to another ulta store before and my stylist that I normally go to does an amazing job and I was SO disappointed at this location. read more

Ulta is kind of like target... you walk in for one item, you walk out with five items lol! I love this Ulta, all the girls that work here are super sweet. They are always ready to help with whatever you need. I easily spend an hour in this store and I never regret it lol! read more

It was very dirty. I got there within the hour it opened and the bathroom floors were very dirty and the toilet was disgusting. Shit and puke on it. There was toilet paper every where. The stores floors were dirty as well read more

Leanne, the hairdresser in the salon was THE BEST! She took the time to make sure she understood how I wanted my hair cut, told me about products that will protect my hair, took the time to teach me how to make long curls, and then helped me pick out the perfect nail polish. I went to the Ultra in Benton Harbor twice; once by myself and once with my sister. Both times I was followed by the staff which of course made me feel uncomfortable. Each time my sister and I moved to a different location a staff member would begin to fix the items in the exact aisle we were in or would come and ask if we needed help finding something, which we both replied no and that we were just looking. My sister and I noticed this and began to randomly walk around the store to see if our assumptions were true and they were. This happened at least 5 times in the 15 minutes we were in the store. Other customers came in (of Caucasian decent) and were only asked once if they needed assistance. This was also the case the first time I went into the store. The same staff member asked me 3 times if i needed assistance each time I replied no. After the third time the staff member came in the exact same aisle I was in and began to fiddle with the clearance items on the bottom shelf. I did not want to assume this was the case but what is the likely hood of it being a coincidence. I love the store but the staff is what left a bad taste in my mouth. You all may want to coach your staff on not following African American customers in a predominantly African American community, this could cause a lack of business. read more
